We have had many successes, and many near misses. Though it all we have had the support of many miners, and we thank all of you for every minute of it.

We have reached a point where we are not able to move forward any more. We had many plans and ideas, and we just are no longer able to realize them all, for a large list of reasons.

Built on the latest Ubuntu 20 with the latest drivers, it will include refreshed versions of our most popular tools and some amazing new ones too!

What a weekend! It was busy and interesting but worth it!

Thank you miner.farm users for being patient while we made this massive upgrade. As expected there was lots of the unexpected: even with the fantastic work of our beta team, there was just no way to know how the new infrastructure was going to perform until we put it into service.

With some adjustments here and there, and a couple more servers in the right places, the site is now quite stable and ready to scale much further. There are of course a few more items to tweak and tune, as always, and we will be catching those up in the coming days.

One of the new features in miner.farm is the ability to clear your own PIMP OS key. Previously, you would have to wait one hour or more between reimages of PIMP OS, but now you can reimage as often as you like with the click of a button. Miner.farm V3 beta is still happening but it is very close to release, just a couple small details to finish up. Thanks everyone for your patience while we get this just right. Lots of new miner updates, our new automation system has been churning them out to the betas as soon as they get released so we can get them tested and to you as quickly as possible. Has the black friday crypto sale got you down? All the stories about people selling their gear making you nervous?

At $3600 Bitcoin is still worth TEN TIMES what it was two years ago. That is still unbelievably good performance vs. traditional financial instruments.

If you just started mining, or mine for short term profit, the news is all bad, but if you are the least bit dedicated to crypto you know: this is hardly the end of mining.

We made the mistake once of believing mining was dead - boy were we wrong! Bitcoin came back with a vengeance, and brought ETH and others along with it. The tide is going back out for now, but like the ocean it will be back...

... And we will be here, ready to help you mine it all. Hang in there miners, we got your back.

Lolminer is included in PIMP OS! Simply by installing PIMP OS you will have instant access not only to the latest lolminer releases, but you will also be able to monitor all your card values in miner.farm, our web based rig management system.

PIMP OS is a Linux mining distribution built on the latest Ubuntu LTS (18.04) with all the drivers and tools needed pre-installed, along with our suite of tools developed over the last 6 years of mining altcoins to make things as simple as possible.

One of those tools is 'gputool'; a command line application for controlling your card values. You configure fans and clock values in a short JSON file, and gputool does the rest!

Hey AMD miners! In case you missed it, we just added some new AMD cryptonight miners to our collection. Finally, good alternatives to Claymore!

In particular, TeamRedMiner has done a great job; definitely one of the fastest AMD miners currently for this algo, and the sgminer API they used is solid and well established in our products, which translates to better monitoring and management for you.

It can be installed on existing PIMP OS rigs with just 2 easy commands: `pimpup` and `pimp --add 1201`
