I'm posting every hour that I can but work and other stuff gets in the way a lot of the time. The weekend is a better time for me, and I expect other members of the community. The voting rate will probably increase then because more people will have more time to spare.
That's right. You can't expect every member voted every hour as they all have job and life.
But at the weekend may have more time to vote.
I voted 20 in the last four hours in total.

If there were people who were very close to meet the rules, could they get a smaller amount, like 500k or 250k? Just a thought, if it is difficult to find 1000. I just think that we should have more stake holders than 500.
Any more than 500 will take so long that people will lose interest.
If people start losing interest the coin will slowly die. 500 stakeholders is best for COMM.

To be fair, it's just as delusional to think that Bitcoin is the way of the future. What 21 million coins in a world with 7 billion people? That's not even including coins that have been "lost" or will be lost. Not even accounting for lost coins that's 0.003 BTC per person.
Also if it's main goal is to be a currency it fucking fails at it since it's deflationary. If I knew that a dollar would be worth more tomorrow than today, what incentive would I have to ever spend it?

In my view the best shot at crypto dominance is a easy to use coin that is fast and secure. It will need to be a PoW/PoS hybrid with an Android app that can mint new coins and has large community devoted to it's development.
The only alt I know about that is anywhere near being that is MINT. And at under 20 satosh right now it's a hell of a bargain. There's no completed android app as of yet but there will be soon enough. It's being developed now.

I tracked the launch, it was not good. If you have the block explorer, chech the early blocks, where did they all go cause ppl reported that there were some blocks mined when they joined. Diff retarget was designed to instamine like 15k blocks really fast. 5-6k blocks intamined in 1-2 hrs, rest 6-11k blocks in next ~5 hrs.
I think price is low now and maybe good chance to buy some coins ? or it will be even lower?
I feel will be lower, and so on.Don't buy.
Perhaps Cryptsy got burned by shitty coins, dev mistakes and forks, and now is becoming more conservative.

Got my 7970 running again by lowering intensity from 13 to 11 and increasing TC from 8192 (--thread-concurrency 8192) to 10240 (--shaders 2048).
Same worksize 256 and same g 2 and same --lookup-gap 2.
Deleted the bin files before starting yaminer.
Reduced hash rate by over 60%, so there is a lot more tweaking to do...
Pool went from 35Mh to 7Mh, guess all GPU's got killed by the N factor.
EDIT Still getting HW errors, trying lower intensities
