Re: Crypto Pay Could ‘Destroy the Financial System’
by

I don't think so. The financial system has people behind them, and such people have a lot of power on dictating, manipulating things. Manipulating the average person. Crypto could be 1000x better, but that won't do it any good.

It's not surprising. When there's a major change in an environment, some benefit while others lose. In this case the pandemic caused more people to be home, playing video games, using the internet which greatly benefit those companies.

Then it would be an opportunity to create the next Bitcoin, but a lot of people will be afraid to invest due to the fear of it disappearing again, for absolutely no reason.

I lost the majority of bitcoin by putting it in shitcoins, and not taking profits.

This sounds like something that should had been written in 2010.

Can't put it any better. I first started investing in Bitcoin 6 years back. I guess I was a bit late and when I purchased my coins, the exchange rate was around $600 per coin. So right now I'm on top of unrealized profits of ~1,200%. This is a lot more than what I could expect from investments in stocks or real estate. But those who made their investments two years earlier than I did are now in 500x to 1,000x profit. But I don't want to get too greedy. Now I am planning to sell some 20% to 30% of my coins in the next 12 months.

You didn't sell any when it was around $20,000. I know of a guy who bought at around 10 cents, but sold it like at 30 cents.

My first air drop was Nem. Which went up to be valued at millions of dollars per stake. Unfortunately I didn't get nearly that much.

This was many years ago, with Crypto still not being as popular. Now things are a bit different.

I quit before, 2014, and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. Things could have been much different for me at the moment, but I ran into a scam. For now I just have to hope that I'm not too late. Just simply by being here I would had benefited greatly.
If you have not quit, you have already rich by now  Smiley. Learn from your mistake in the past and make sure that you will not repeat your mistake again.

If you only knew. Based on the coins that I was planning on investing by in, with tens of thousands of dollars, my last calculation showed me that I would've made probably over 60 million dollars. Yes it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but such was the growth of the crypto market. Extreme rage in me.  Cry

If we’re talking about favorite, rather than the most common way, then I would have to say that it’s finding someone who wants to get cryptos and doing it directly with them. This way no 3rd party business is involved at all.

Of course this is extremely rare.

They are still active on slack/telegram and the dev's are not the only Who are buying,  proces are very good at the moment to buy some more SIRX

Do they ever mention why they never go to the ANN thread? I might have to go to the slack.

I hope it's not a matter of being like defiant.

There is not much going on in slack, I know some people are saying slack is very active but that's not really true either.

What about code development? How active is the github? They seemed to be working hard back in December. And the dev really seemed to be into coding.

They just waiting for the market to go up. Then, with another hype wave, they will emerge, give some fantastic promises and announcements, pump the price as high as they can get, then dump all the coins they still have.

But see, my thinking against that would be, then why bother acting the way they are acting if they just want to dump them. If the devs were scammers instead of silence they would have been here chatting away daily to give investors and participants more optimism for the coin, with the price slowly rising. Don't you think?

My wallet got corrupted after using coin control feature for sending 0.001 to address mentioned in rules in discord.   I tried repairwallet without success, but importing private key to a new wallet worked. I missed airdrop #5, cannot miss #6.

I thought this was going to be a case where the wallet got corrupted but you didn't have any back up. Good thing you did.

I think sirius project will recover, markets are gaining momentum recently so we'll get high returns if sirius team will continue to do their homeworks which i have no doubt.

They just really need to be more active here and in that way the community wouldn't be complaining as much as to the lack of news.

Bitcoin holders already have to pay taxes, when they cash out. If you're saying paying taxes for Bitcoins that they haven't cashed, out, that would be dumb and most people would just keep it secret.

Hi guys!

With fivestar4ever, we are working on a token swap of howl since the dev has abandoned the community.
We are building the swap rules and it will be proposed to the community for approval.

For now we think a swap is better than an airdrop for the community.

We are currently in contact with potential devs as team members. Feel free to contact us if you want to be part of the project.

Isn't better to develop app first, show at least the betta to community and then think of swap? I just figured that could get weird and community would again buy  a pig in a poke having in their bags tons of tokens  backed by nothing.

Another issue is that the majority of people who received airdrop are not going to know about the new project.
