I sometimes get rate limited in the sports book and blog. Any reason why that is? Its annoying having to wait a couple of hours for the page to load.
I get this all the time. It is super annoying. If I click too quick then I get blocked.

Then they should call it a play money tournament and not pretend that one can "earn yourself a few freebets!"
Even on the tournament pay board it's (intentionally) borderline deceptive - it says the Prize is "1", rather than more correctly "1 mBTC".
Really shabby business practices.
I think the freebets are bets they give out in the chat and randomly on tables via admins and not tournaments? They write: "we're also giving out some surprise freebets to entire tables throughout the day." so that's what I assumed anyway.
Also, to be fair - all amounts in poker are in mbtc everywhere

Would be nice to have a zero confirmation poker as well. Is Blackjack 0 confirmation as well or does it require 1 confirmation ?
If someone makes a double spend they can just void the bets against the house. I reckon this is more difficult in a peer-to-peer game as the funds may have been transferred to another player...

number 1? think again, i bet number 1 for poker must be SWC, there is no doubt about that, nitrogen is good for sportsbook only tho it got no live betting
Well, SWC is not the number one , due to the kind of traffic on that site. Its all good players, and not much learning for an intermediate player for cash games.
Even freerolls//hourlies/etc are much better at Nitrogen.
Much softer games at Nitrogen plus online client makes it my go to choice. Action seems to have picked up a bit the last week or so too...

Betcoin has a fucking retarded tournament structure. Literally every tournament allows you to rebuy/register up to 2 hours in, meaning there isn't anything small you can play on for an hour or two. Nitro looks nice but there is a very low playerbase.
Yeah, they both still have some way to go but I am sure they will pick up the pace now that Seals has gone belly up

Dude... withdraw your bitcoins. You always deposit back later when/if they get back online. You have no idea why they are down, if you're unlucky this might turn mtgox on everyone with bitcoins still in there.

We shall see when the new software rolls around. Money talks and if seals wants to offer anything larger than the big btc only once a week or larger daily tournys late reg might be longer. At any rate some of the newer players might have found a new home by then. We have to see when they come back what the traffic is.
At any rate what choice is there other than betcoin while seals is out. Nitrogen pays out instantly but has little traffic and horrendous software. Infiniti has a web cam gimmick but has even less traffic and a history of not paying out. In the meantime seals out 6 days and counting with no ETA.
Betcoin doesn't have an online (as in non-download exe file) client do they? What is so bad about nitro? I play there every now and then... works for me. But then again, I am no pro...
They do have option where you can play on a browser. Mostly that's how I play.
Yeah, that is why I play on nitro so I can play directly in the browser. Using a mix of different computers and my ipad and just plain don't want to install exe/native files when dealing with Bitcoin gambling stuff... Found Betcoins online version but it doesnt work on my ipad

Nice. These freerolls are such easy money.. Sure you have to win hundreds to make any money, but when there's 15 person fields and half aren't even there it's not bad
Agree on that and there is also good value in the guaranteed ones sometimes. Nitro must have picked up the pace, there seem to be tournaments n freerolls starting all the time now!

Hmm do you have allot of players in your poker room? I notice some new poker rooms just don't have a good number of players especially in Omaha. Please let me know ASAP and I will sign up and check it out later because I want to try a new poker room and I keep hearing about you guys over @ Seals.

I will look into it, but it looks more like an exchange site. I just want similar to a sports betting site, place a wager or pickup someone else's. So much simpler imho than trading sites =)
