I have a problem to recover my sia coins with my seed.
I have a backup of my seed, I have installed Sia UI v1.2.1 on my new PC, its 100% synchronized, I use the recover seed button but my wallet now shows 0 SIA :S
I had a very big amount of SIA on my wallet
how to be sure the seed is recovering correctly?

"Load a wallet from a seed" in gui doesn't work right now. You have to wait for fix or create new wallet with new seed and import your old seed to the new wallet ("Recover Seed" button in the wallet). Now your actual seed should be the newly created (to be sure keep all your seeds).
Sia doesn't compete against 2GB free storage in Dropbox. You must compare how much you will pay for 10TB in Dropbox vs in Sia. Price of the SC currency is totaly independent of the storage price. Sia storage price in $ will be still more or less cheap.

Having d/loaded v.0.5.1 from https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia-UI/releases/download/v0.5.1-beta/Sia-UI-win32-x64.zip, clicked on 1 click unzip and a short way into the process got an error message, so I aborted here's the win zip log showing the error message:
Anyone know if that's a problem with the file or would it necessarily have to be something to do with the OS I'm using - Windows 7 professional edition?

I think there is problem with too long path. You have to extract to c:\ and use "extract to". Not drag and drop from opened archive.

Is there a reason why Zeit is not on the bter.com? I just saw that they added 14 days old CommunityCoin. Zeit needs all buyers on the earth!
At this point we don't need to be listed on any more exchanges. If we're big enough, we'll be listed on our own merits soon enough. What we have right now for mintpal is ideal because instead of trading activity scattered between several exchanges, it's concentrated on just one.
It is good idea however bter is chinese exchange and there could be big % of people that don't care about mintpal. Hard to say what is right.

Exactly, this is the core of the problem.
If everything is true. I can't imagine situation that all of double-payed ran away and even single person didn't come here to offer the money back.

A) Phonetic - poor guy with double-payment bug in system
-What did you do to get back the money till now?
B) Miners - with double-payment christmass present
- Do they know they got double pament?
- Did they receive request to send back money?
- Or did they receive MINUS balance in their mining account?
C) Miners - no payments
- The bounty 5 997 799 doge, is this for Phonetic too?
Kind of discount and help to get things right?

Recently I got two times payment from coinex.pw mining. I sent 1000xyz and received in wallet 2000xyz. After few days I had minus balance on my account. After some time I mined it back to plus balance and this is end of story.
What is next problem here with doge and double payments?
Or are all doge miners with double payment thieves?

It should not be a problem with renaming wallet file and later change it back. Logistic problem is when you will have ten crypto wallets with different currency and will do all the super secure backup steps.
Next question is how often should I backup wallet.dat file.
