I see people getting 2.5-2.6Mhash with 7970 and i can only get 2.34 Mhash.
Is my bat correct? I am running 7970 @ 1040/700 core/mem with the below setting

can anyone with linux or sandbox knownledge please check if there is malware, trojan to steal wallet.dat or script to take a part of the hash power to a specific address?

i mined 6 DMD in last 8 hours
with 60 mhash (3x amd290 6x amd280)
so u can see diamonds are very valuable and rare
that exact comment proves that such launch is unfair. i'm mining for 1 day and got 4 dmd. and that's solely because i managed to get mining when the difficulty was still low. but again, for 6 hours the wallet had crashed without me noticing (my mistake), thus the difficulty had risen. so if you mined 6 dmd in last 8 hours with 60 mhash, imagined what happens to people that have 10 mh (i have 7) and their wallets were crashing constantly yesterday...
this is solo mining. The result is pretty much luck based. Also for solo mining, card own hash rate matter more than how many hash you have. You can have 7mh or 1x7970 but would still get more block than people with 10x 270 ~ 20mh.

it's really strange, got 11 MHs on an old HD5970 - my HD7950 = 5.3 MHs, HD7970 = 7.1 MHs...

I see people selling USB riser using the 3 pin- SATA connection to deliver 75W that normally run though molex. I know normal manufacturer have molex-6/8pin PCI-e convertor so molex is safe to use but SATA is for HDD which normally use 3W-5W. Is that safe to run on the long term? will the SATA power delivery enough wattage, or wont overheat/ melt

I was trying to mine qqcoin today and noticed a very weird "e" sound from the card whenever i run the gpuminer. It sounds like coil whine but much more subtle. I would it is about 1/3 as loud as a coil whine. I have never encounter such thing with normal scrypt.
