Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash
by
stetym
on 31/07/2018, 18:50:03 UTC
So after the fork happened and Bitcoin Cash was created, as of today on CoinMarketCap it shows:

Bitcoin
capital $118,038,167,261
price $6,962.42
circulating 16,953,612
volume last 24 hrs $4,671,340,000

Bitcoin Cash
capital $11,306,077,844
price $663.06
circulating 17,051,288
volume last 24 hrs $286,801,000

On every count Bitcoin beats Bitcoin Cash so the question arises, what was the point of creating Bitcoin Cash? Apart from making very rich bitcoin holding people even more wealthier by creating Bitcoin Cash and adding to their portfolio it seems that there was no need for it. I hear about transactions fees and groups of devs so on being better at Bitcoin Cash but in all honestly what was the point?

Did all those advocating the demise of Bitcoin actually exchange all their BTC for BCH? I doubt it.

To me it seems Bitcoin was always going to come out on top of that battle so why did those whales pushing for the fork really do it and create Bitcoin Cash?
Bitcoin Cash differs from its predecessor with a more perfect model of work. First, the Bitcoin Cash network bandwidth, since its block size is more than 4 times - 8Mb. Secondly, the network of the second bitcoin can be rightfully considered more decentralized, since its extraction is possible with the help of conventional video cards, which enables more users to earn on the BCH mining.

Re: Is Monero a Good Investment?
by
stetym
on 31/07/2018, 18:47:04 UTC
Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
Monero has too high transfer fees. The only way to reduce it without turning the basic security algorithms upside down is to reduce the size of the transaction and automatically reduce the commission, which is traditionally calculated for the byte transferred to the processing of the information to miners.

Ripple boasts a low commission, which is one of its main advantages over other crypto-currencies and payment systems. If the developers continue to develop the project and will enlist the support of an even larger number of banks around the world, by the end of 2018 the value of the token will exceed the $ 2 per token mark.

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
Ripple is preparing a new product called xVia. It is designed specifically for banks and financial institutions to simplify international transfers.

Recently, we have watched several huge jumps in the Ripple course. In the first half of 2017, the price of Ripple grew by almost 4000%.

With ripple at the current price of 67c do you think its worth investing in it or not?

Do you belive it will increase in price in the near future?
Ripple plans to destroy the monopoly of SWIFT, establishing cooperation with banks and financial institutions around the world. As soon as the news appears on another successful partnership, the rate of this crypto currency is growing - this is natural.

Do you think is a good time for buying some NEO now? Whit many Ico coming could be the last chance before the price is going to increase much.
NEO is optimized for creating smart contracts in its network, as well as decentralized applications (DApp), which is also a huge advantage over the same bitcoin.

At the moment, in the detachment, these are the functions that are most valued.

Yes I know that have nothing do do with each other and that you cant really compare. But if you had to choose one from the other. which would it be?
NEO will undoubtedly break out into the leaders, and very rapidly. In addition, after the adoption of the crypto-currency at the state level, it is likely that a huge population will also become one of the factors to increase the capitalization of the token. We see that the prospects for NEO are, and quite interesting.

Re: Will NEO become strong?
by

on 31/07/2018, 18:37:40 UTC
As a background, NEO is a blockchain platform and cryptocurrency supporting a scalable network of decentralized applications. It bears resemblance to Ethereum at its core but has its own unique features.  Unlike Ethereum, it integrates other cryptocurrencies into its network, which gives it the potential to become a global digital system in today's smart economy.

NEO touts its accessibility as one of the key platform features because common programming languages are accepted on its platform.

How do you think about NEO?
It is worth starting with the fact that NEO is affected by a lot of factors that give it constant pushes for growth. First of all, despite, on the whole, the negative attitude of Chinese regulators to crypto-currencies, it seems that they are not indifferent to NEO

Will NEO be next ETH in crypto currency world? What is the main reason for going up NEO drastically?
NEO - a project that boldly conquered the list of the most promising crypto-coins in the world, earned the title of one of the most stable currencies and confidently competes with Ethereum. It is believed that it will become one of the main ones on the crypto market and will serve to create the economic system of the future.

Re: Are you holding EOS?
by
stetym
on 25/07/2018, 17:57:46 UTC
EOS is a new block chain architecture introduced by the software http://EOS.IO, which aims to realize the performance extension of distributed applications. Notice that it is not like COINS and etheric fang is money, but on http://EOS.IO tokens issued on a software project, known as block chain 3.0 (from the network), solely on the rules of the development and direction of the above, we can know the grand goal of the EOS, the etheric lane has been very successful from virtual currency to a variety of applications, but also the basis of limited to 2.0, and EOS is in the etheric lane 3.0 model developed on the basis of block chain, what is block chain 3.0? The simple idea is to apply the block chain technology to any field in our reality, which is the practical application of block chain 3.0 in reality.

If the EOS can actually implement the application of block chain 3.0, it is highly likely that the powerful EOS will surpass ETH's value in the future. There are also reports that EOS has raised billions of dollars in funding, and that enthusiasm is not far behind any of the previous blockchain technology and virtual currency. However, since the current EOS main network has not been launched, it is only a trend, so it is necessary to know whether the EOS can achieve the desired effect or whether the EOS will be online.

At present, it seems that EOS can surpass ETH, and if it does operate according to the block chain 3.0 mode, I think it is very likely. However, the hypothesis and the practical application are two different things, so it is only after the EOS is fully implemented that the results can be obtained.
Now EOS (EOS) has already entered the top ten (it is the one that closes it) the most capitalized crypto-currency with a figure of more than 8.7 billion dollars.

And the most interesting and original thing is that these coins do not have a fixed fixed price, at which they could be purchased during the ICO.

What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.
Ripple technically outstripped the usual ways of money transfers, such as: SWIFT and Western Union. This koin is based on the company of the same name and, interestingly, the system can safely work without the participation of the company itself.
