I have a question - if VNL is currently operational at single confirmations than why does Polo still require 9? If coins are spendable after a minute or two from sending and an exchange requires an additional amount of time for confirmation than how is the better technology applied? Is this something that will be fixed in the future or is it that exchanges have their own policies which may have an effect on specs?
My expectation is for exchanges to use two confirmations for single confirmation transactions and one confirmation for zero confirmation transactions. Any amount of confirmations greater than this doesn't offer any increase in security.

1 or 0 confirmation transactions would make this whole cryptocurrency thing seem a lot more practical.

It seems the market is death or at the very least dieing, no trades are happening. If nothing happens to this coin any time soon i would call it official death and even i will leave it.
Does anybody have anybody have any objection to me creating a new checkpoint, compiling a new windows wallet, and creating a new ANN? I've been waiting for the past devs to pipe up for a while to do it, but it appears they are MIA.
We can take requests for the progress of Slim (I have a vision of my own if there is no objection)

I'm still for a version of CPU only algorithm though, but we oughta use one that has been well established.
Quark? Primecoin? Are those CPU only?
