Is there an existing thread somewhere on bitcoin-friendly banks for personal accounts?

Which US banks accept transfers from bitcoin exchanges?

I'm confused by some of the other threads discussing the situation with US banks.
(There's a long thread on banks that are hostile to businesses that deal with bitcoins, for example.)

Which US-based banks currently accept transfers to their customers' personal bank accounts from bitstamp, coinbase, or similar bitcoin firms without a hassle?

Re: Best exchange for withdrawing USD to US Bank?

So I see a thread criticizing just about every major USD exchange there is. Is there really an answer to this question? I'm probably being dumb since different people will have different experiences with different exchanges, but...

If you were looking to sell BTC for the first time and needed a good balance between exchange price and exchange speed, what exchange would you use to get USD to a US Bank?

Same question I have. Was going to post asking as you have.

BTC seem less and less useful if there is no safe and reliable way to convert to cash, and still too few merchants accept them for purchases.
Kind of like having Zimbabwean dollars. My early optimism has been thoroughly tempered.

Re: Name the 0.0001 BTC unit - Final Poll

Nakamoto is just too many syllables!

I don't like the choices in this poll.

bip would be the best of those options offered because it is a single syllable (like "cent") and just 3 letters (like btc), so very parsimonious. Unfortunately, someone else says it might be a little bit of a problem because it is not unique (the BIP acronym, Bitcoin Improvement Protocol).

I still like the idea of something like

boin

or boink or bink.

0.0001 BTC = 10 kilo satoshi = 10 kiss = 1 big kiss
Cheesy

Whatever word it is, it should be just one syllable long.

Maybe 0.0001 BTC = 1 boin?

How many posts do you need to make to lift the 360 seconds between actions limit?

I would like to reply to a message, but there is no reply button.

I have read the reason is I just got an account here and that I first have to post to the newbie section. However, there is nothing for me to contribute to the newbie section. Therefore, I think this newbie rule is ridiculous.
Sorry for bothering you with my message.

You now need to wait four hours. It's annoying, but it's there as a security prevention/measure.
You need to wait four hours after doing what?
Is there a post somewhere that explains the whole process, step-by-step, in detail?

For some reason, I keep getting this error message: "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago" -- even when there was no post from my IP (or at least no legitimate post from my IP!).
I've participated in scores of message boards over the years. This has got to be one of the worst for getting started.
Did I miss the newbies intro somewhere where everything is made clear?
Or is it all just screwed up?

Search and login counts as well. Also, maybe your ISP shares your IP between more customers.
Oh, I thought my ISP assigns IP addresses uniquely, but maybe that is possible.
I guess I could ask them, but it's probably not worth the amount of time I would have to waste to get an answer from someone in the company who would actually know.
