V2.4.2
+ Minor performance improvement on algorithm 'karlsenhash'
+ Added support for AMD gfx906 (VII) GPU's on Linux for drivers > 22.40
+ Added telemetry for INTEL ARC GPU's on Windows
+ Fixed power draw metric for AMD RDNA3 GPU's on Windows
+ Minor bug fixes
Hello, dear Doktor.
Can you please tell how to  set intensity for second algorithm. for example ergo+rxd: if i use --gpu-intensity it sets only for erg and rxd intensity is set to 1.
I tried also this way --gpu-id 0,1,2,3,4  --gpu-intensity 26,26,26,26,26;4,4,4,4,4 it also doesnt work for radiant. auto tune is always set rxd intensity on 2.
Also whatever --gpu-dual-max-loss  i choose its still sets second algo on 2. But i need at least 4 for second algo, so i use 2.3.9 where it sets intensity depends on overclock.
Can you please help how to set the desired  intensity for each algo?
PS: i use raveos.
PSS: sorry for my Eng.
please try --gpu-auto-tune 0 . This allowed me to set intensity correct..

Nice 4 bedroom house with 173 usable kw upradable to 323 kw. Great neighborhood

I have received a job offer that I can not refuse. I have been mining out of this lovely mentor on the lake, ohio home for 2 year. I have install a 400 amp meter box on the house. The max capacity for continues use is 320 amps. From the main 200 amp panel I have installed 5 30 amp lp-30 outlets in the living room. Which is 14 x 28. 2 large windows and a door on the back wall and 2 huge bay windows on the front. This room housed . I have installed the 2nd breaker panel in a spare bedroom with 8 lp-30 outlets. The 180 gpus. I also have an addition 30 amp in one of the rear bedrooms. Yet another 30 amp installed in the kitchen.
The property has a 16 x 10 shed with loft space. I have a 100 kva transformer (cost 12,000 usd) connected to another 400 amp meter panel. This provides an addition 320 amp to the sheds 16 30 amp outlets. All electric work was done with a permit and passed inspection.
I have discussed upgrading the 100 kva to a 250 kva transformer. I was told by the electric company that I would be able to for a fee. Less than 12k. The first time with 100kva I had to pay for 2 new poles as well as the transformer.
This is a gold mine for the right person with knowledge to utilize the space. The current appeased value is 140k. I am asking 190,000. I can provide much greater details to serious inquires. Also, I have not contact a relator. So there will not be a 7% commission on this sale.

I am situated about 1 mile from lake erie. There are several plazas with 1 mile also.
I would consider a land contract with 25% down.
Thank you for viewing.

I saw that straps for p104 was enabled under windows a few versions back. I have several evga p104 that i flashed with the 8gb bios. When is set strap the miner says it gets applied but the hashrate does not increase. i have tried with and without nvmem. I also tried kernel 2 and 3. Running as admin.
my setting are +200 core

Ethereums slogan should be screwing miners since 2017. I am against this eip because i want eth to burn. A 51% reorg is well worth the cost. The lower they force nethash the cheaper that is.You can ask "what about the users". I wont feel bad stupid people over invested in this crap. They should of done their research.

Re: Ethereum RedPanda EIP-1559 call

It will not get 5k so easy ... There too many pools that will dumb ETH to stay around 2k. (Flexpool is doing that for example right now)
So 2k with EIP-1559 say goodbye to your profits.

Imagine Sparkpool to start dumbing their ETH ...

They have ETH 2.0 on the plans for the next year so they want cut profits from us and go into whales.

My 2 cents
I was mining in 2015 when eth 2.0 was coming in 2017. 68 percent of all eth is held by a small number of wallets.  If they dumb I will grab more gpus. Get a better price that way. I am cool if eth 2 happens. I mostly mine eth to buy quality cypto. The core devs decisions in the past around progpow made me to concerned to keep much in eth. Once eth goes to eth 2 it loses all support from miners. I doubt it stays at 2 for more than a year or 2.

For educational purposes

Roll Eyes Get real. This is obviously just a thinly veiled threat.

I'm not sure what your true motive is with this, but all you're doing is harming eth and helping competitors by adding a new reason not to buy or use ethereum.
Not sure you know the history of the core devs repeatedly enriching themselves from repeatedly reducing rewards. Nor do you understand that 51 % of the hash on 1 pool is NOT a 51 percent attack.Doubt you understand the dynamics that eip-1559 will most likely raise the cost of transaction. This will be caused by artificiale inflation. If your transaction cost 0.001 eth but eth is 5000 usd, u are paying more not less.

For 5 years miners were considered members of the community. Which most miners also are users. Only when it fits the devs agenda is the yellow paper meaningless and miners are ONLY service providers. Ethereum.org had affiliate links to gpus. Miners paid 50k for a requested audit of progpow. While the devs who requested the audit were secretly working with asic manufacturer.

Just because we made a better investment than holders you do not have the right to steal my profits.

EIP-1559 will aid the network in a long run, how can people that greedy. This is a very dumb thing.

wait and see.  you have your view as entitled to have.  we as miners have ours

speak for yourself. As a miner, i wholeheartedly support anything that is good for ethereum. EIP1559 aims to address volatility in transaction prices, and thats _very_ good.

It doesn't address volatility.  It just makes predicting fees easier supposedly.  It is mainly being pushed because institutional firms like Greyscale want it implemented because of the burning of fees and the perception that it will drive up ETH price.  This is gonna be a big buy the rumor sell the implementation at the tail end of the bull run to start the next bear cycle.

EIP-1559 opens up the chances of a successful dos attack and that has not been able to be resolved yet.
You are very educated on the subject. Glad to see people paying attention. #stopeip1559

Mega uload took down all mining apps. It was not exclusively phoenix miner. NH had some bs announcement cause they did not know. nh is garbage. With the app developer being anonymous it is impossible to know if any future release is genuinely from the original author. However, I suspect they will announce on bitcointalk.

Also, the 1st gpu should be in pcie 3.0 16 slot. Then the second goes to the black slot closest to cpu. RThen fill up the black slots before using any of the white ones.

I have about 20 asus 250. I figured i would try an asrock. Had a friend who was having trouble. This boards work with a bit of tweaking. For instance even if the gpu is red in the bios detection , once you boot to the os the gpus do show up. You really need to use the mb video output. Make sure to set all slots to pcie gen 1. If you plan on more than 8 gpus. csm must be disabled. Microsoft virtualization must be disabled under cpu options in bios.above 4g enable vt-d disabled.

Not if miners force a fork and remove the bomb ourselves. We currently have more than half the hashrate opposing. In the past i would agree. Not many miners understood how it all works. If enough miners realize the extreme disrespect the devs have shown toward miners we can triumph.

You may want to know the eth core devs are pushing through a reward reduction. Those profits will not last.
Congratulations on the rig and welcome to the community.

Support miners and oppose reward reductions. STOPEIP1559.ORG
by
stoniestfool
on 02/03/2021, 23:49:25 UTC
Your hashrate is your vote.
I would like to inform new member and older miners alike. The ethereum core devs are once again reducing rewards in order to increase their and others holding value at the expense of miners. Please do your research. More than 50% of the network hashrate is currently flagging to oppose eip 1559. You can check your pools stance at stopeip1559.org. Also, bitsbetripping and other mining youtube channels have been having zoom calls to discuss the issue. The recorded call can be found on his and many others channels.

Older members may know this. For new member to the community I would like to explain how the core devs continue to extract value from miners to enrich themselves.
When ethereum began the block reward was 5 eth per block. While using the postponment of pos as an excuse the core devs reduced the block reward to 3. This did indeed increase the price of eth and was one of the catalyst for the 2017 - 2018 bubble. After the burst it started to become more public that asics were available. While all but promising to implement progpow to disable the new asics the core devs once again reduced the reward from 3 to 2 eth per block. After nearly 2 years of eip-1057 progpow being approved, going through a audit paid for by miners, being tested and proven stable on testnet the entire project was tabled. Many miners made investment to protect the network from asics while the 2 year fiasco took place.
Now once again the core devs are deceptive advertising eip 1559 as a benefit for the community. The proposal will burn transaction cost. When you see the block reward current averaging around 4 eth. 2 of that is the standard 2 eth block reward. The other 2 eth are transaction fees. These transaction fees have always gone to miners as part of the incentive to mine. If not stopped these fees will be burn. Which is a easy way to say permanently removed from supply. This will cause a minimum 30 percent reduction in mining rewards.

Anote that the idea of miner added value is going around to fool miners to believe the profits will not decrease this much. The core devs already have a proposal that eliminates any opportunity of miners earning from mev.

Please stay informed and do research. Weather or not you oppose 1559 everyone should choose a pool that flags to their choice.Thank you for reading.

By mining to bianance you are flagging to approve eip 1559. Eip 1559 will cause a 30 to 60 percent reduction in mining rewards and therefore your profits.profits starting in july. Please use a pool that opposes eip 1559 and supports miners. stopeip1559.org and #stopeip1559

I use Windows 10 pro. the pool is Binance. The same is true in HUB mining pool. The miner does not collapse, he works with a smaller hashrate. It drops from 250-256 to 237-238. My cards are fashionable and well optimized to develop 32mh/s for one card. I just want if there can be a command to restart the miner if the hashrate decreases. This often happens at 8-9 hours of work of the miner.
[/quote]
do you have good airflow. A gpu will thermal throttle if it gets to hot. Which means lower the core clock to attempt to stay under a certain temp.  That would lower ur hashrate. You could also have ur memory clock to high and ur getting memory errors. You can check this by using hwinfo app.

Is it the same time every day this happens?

If it's for my problem, YES, I have a hash rate every night. That's why I'm looking for a way to restart the miner when the hashrate falls. With the phoenix miner I don't have this problem but with lol I have a higher hash rate. 8xRX580 sapphire nitro+ 8GB=250-256mh/s   Is it so difficult to make a command to restart the miner, almost all miners have one.
could you be specific. What os are you on. what happens. the miner keeps going with low hash or it crashes. Take screenshots or photos. There could be many issues cause u problems. Also, are you going of the miner hashrate or the pool?

Is there a command for the lol miner to restart if the megahash falls below certain values? Phoenix Miner has it and it is a very convenient feature.
That would not work well. As the hashrate of gpus decrease you would need to constantly adjust the threshold. Alternatively you could use hive, I believe they have that option built in to the os.
