Re: Does Bitjoy.io pay?

Hello. I've got about 50k satoshi on bitjoy.io thanks to the Bitcoin Froggy android app. But the minimum to withdraw is 100k. And now I have a question: does this site still pay?

Hi. I'm the original developer of bitjoy.io. Towards the end of 2016, bitcoin transaction fees became too high to continue to run that kind of model. To send someone 1c for 50c worth of a transaction fee wasn't reasonable.  We created short-term measures and implemented withdraw limits, etc, but honestly, that forced us to use centralized databases and really wasn't something we were excited to continue. The whole point of BTC was to not HAVE to rely on central databases.

Bitjoy has pivoted to a different chain in 2018, the EOS Blockchain and we are focusing a completely different aspect of real-time gaming. Specifically, we are focused on creating new forms of gameplay between live game streamers and viewers.  EOS does not require transaction fees so there's a world of possibilities in front of us.

Hey ,
does anyone have a clue if they closed down or have abadoned it?

It seems so but could not find any more info online.

Hi,

I own bitjoy.io (developed it as well).  I didn't abandon it, but I had put it on ice for a while.  This summer I lost the advertiser (chartboost) which was allowing me to effectively monetize my efforts to develop the site.   However, the reason I stumbled across your article is because I'm in talks to take on a partner and revive the site.  The SSL cert expired because I was unsure of it's future.

If you're interested in getting in touch, please feel free to reach out to me at lynn@bitjoy.io.

Thanks!

Only 0.0001 USD from bitcoin froggy and 0.0002 USD from space shooter ? Yesterday it was like 0.001 USD

It's not a constant reward.  Many factors go into determine reward amount including -

1) How much the developer of the game is spending at the moment
2) How much you have earned recently
3) Promos in effect or not
4) How much traffic is running through the system
5) and more...

It's up to each dev to decide what they are spending at any given time.  Best advice would be to support the dev by clicking on a few ads, or anything else they are trying to do.  $.001 is pretty high considering you can complete it hundreds of times (if I remember correctly).

If a dev determines that you don't help generate revenue (say by clicking on an ad), it's possible they could taper down your individual rewards from a business perspective.  Just a guess there.  I know that if players installed any free apps yesterday from the blue button they were paying $.01 to $.25 USD worth of bitcoin!  (with no limits)

Each game (and developer) will be different at different times.

Hello everyone!

We've launched two new android games that are using Bitjoy to payout bitcoin rewards!  These two games are the highest paying faucets you will find on the net - primarily due to the fact that we developed these games to promote the Bitjoy platform.

Here are the Android games (iOS versions awaiting approval)

Bitcoin Froggy -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seventhnight.froggy&hl=en

and

Bitcoin 80's Space Shooter -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seventhnight.shooter&hl=en

Is there any daily limit on how much we can collect maximally on each app ?

It depends on the game and achievement. For example, right now at this very moment, collecting coins in froggy will pay as much as $.25 per day in btc cumulatively. But earning bitcoins by clicking on the blue "Earn Free Bitcoin" button in the game has NO CAP. That's because you are paid to view ads, click ads, and even install other free apps. Those rewards are not limited.

The way the blue "Earn Free Bitcoin" button works, is that there are 3 ways to earn:

1) Watch the 30 second clip of game movie - earn bitcoin instantly
2) Click the ad after the movie to go to the Google Play Store for that ad - earn another bitcoin reward instantly
3) Install and OPEN the free game - earn a 3rd bitcoin reward instantly (much larger reward than the first 2)

The cool thing is, there's a multiplier with each step.  Watching an ad pays, but clicking the add pays MORE and finally installing an ad can pay HUGE - anywhere from $.01 to $.50 worth of bitcoin.  Smiley

Occasionally the devs run really large promos.  For example, this past Thanksgiving, there were no limits at all for 48 hours.  People earned more bitcoin than any faucet you can imagine!  They were notified by surprise via email a few hours before the promo started.

Let me know if you have an more questions.

Blue button ? I downloaded the bitcoin froggy game, logged in with my bijoy acc but there is no "blue button" just 2 orange ones with "Sign out" and "CHeck balance" and then one big "GO" button

To see the blue button there must be ads available for you.  This depends on many things such as your country of origin, device, etc.  I'd check back in a few hours to see if they are available.  In practice, especially in the U.S. ads are always available.  When it does show up, it'll look like this:

Board Speculation (Altcoins)
Re: [EMC] Emercoin Speculation and Discussion - Top 20 Cryptocurrency
by

on 07/01/2016, 15:14:10 UTC

Lack of liquidity - both up and down -  for such a high market cap is kind of scary for new comer traders. I'd like the project to grow on me as opposed to being forced to hold a bag due to 'ideals' about the tech, so will hold my satoshis for now.

Looking forward to finding out more about the project as time goes by.

A big reason for the lack of liquidity is the fact that most of the people don't put their trust in these obscure altcoin exchanges, and for good reasons. It is too bad that Cryptsy took a dive, because we now have only Bittrex (acceptable) and Poloniex as trustable altcoin exchanges. I see that Emercoin was already added on Bittrex, so I am happy that i finally got to withdraw from Livecoin. It seems like a pretty decent service, but there were some small issues that made me anxious throughout the days.

With Poloniex we will definitely get to see a big jump in volume.

Yeah, need Polo onboard ASAP.  I filled out their request form.. no idea how effective it will be.  Fingers crossed.
