Patrike,

Can you temporarily disable rules when running benchmarks? I appear to still have the stop rule runs every 10 seconds problem, and it took me a minute to realize that was killing my benchmarks in 5.5.1. I figure even of the stop rule running too frequently gets fixed that could still affect long running benchmark sessions.

Updated miners Smiley

Z-Enemy 1.18
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3378390.0

- Major performance improvements: 10-15% for Xevan (+ fixed reduced hashrate issue from 1.17)
- Minor performance improvements for other algos
- Stability improvements for XDNA

CryptoDredge 0.9.1
https://github.com/technobyl/CryptoDredge/releases/

New CryptoNightHaven algorithm
Fix issue related to many rejected shares on NiceHash pool when used CryptoNight-like algorithms

It would be nice to get these updates in for 4.6, but also could Cryptonight be enabled for CryptoDredge? Right now it won't show up in the benchmark for several algos that Dredge (and other miners, iirc) support.

I've got a rule setup to start and stop a pair of miners when they cross a profit threshold, but for some reason the start rule never actually starts them.

Miner Profit, Greater than or equals 2.25 US Dollar per day

I've tried setting this to miner revenue and profile profit, neither seem to trigger a start, even when View Details shows greater than 2.25 profit per day.

Also sometimes it looks like the stop rule keeps triggering even if the miner is stopped in some kind of endless loop every 5-10 seconds. Not sure what that's about.

this problem appears after upgrading new awesome... i already choose zenemy, cryptodroge and other miner software but not showing in benchmark page... what do i wong? before upgrade it's run normal

Thanks

Confirmed this on two rigs of mine. Z-enemy specifically here. CryptoDredge shows up for me.

Hi team,

can you have a look/add T-Rex miner, please?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4432704.0

It is mining really faster on 1080Ti (latest drivers 398.x), on all Supported algorithms (on some a WAY FASTER Smiley:

lyra2z
phi2
hsr
c11
x17
phi
tribus

(for now?)

Yeah I am getting over 4.3 mh/s , with cryptodredge about 3.6
https://i.imgur.com/61bUhFq.png

How's the hashrate on the pool side though?

Miningpoolhub Equihash BTG pool is not added to pool list
I am struggling to add it manually...could you please add it in next update ?

Best Regards

I managed to add BTG to AM but it's not pulling profit profile information down for some reason so the profit switcher won't switch to it. I added it  as a user defined service with the following info:

Service: MiningPoolHub
Algo: Equihash BTG
URL base: miningpoolhub.com:20595
URL Prefix: check stratum+tcp
Algorithm URL Part: us-east.equihash-hub
Algorithm API identifier: Equihash-BTG
Profit Factor: 1

This allows you to benchmark and connect to the pool correctly, but like I said no profit info is downloaded even after restarting AM, so the algo never gets selected.

Anyone had problems upgrading the BIOS to 1.60? I just did it with a Celeron G4900 and the system will not power on now. Intel ME and BIOS flash all went to 100%, the system powered itself off and now the power supply clicks on, fans spin for a second or two and then shut off. I'm going to try and pull the battery with the CMOS reset jumper set for a few hours. The board was fine before the BIOS update albeit with a DPC watchdog crash during Windows 10 1709 install hence attempting the BIOS update.

Awesome Miner version 4.7.5 ( Development preview of 4.8 )

- GPU selection in the Properties for Managed Miners and Managed Profit Miners to only include specific GPU's when mining
- Antminer X3 Cryptonight ASIC supported
- Antminer T9+ chip temperature supported
- Added temperature support for DragonMint B29 ASIC miner
- The operations to start a miner, stop a miner and perform pool changes are enabled even if some of the selected miners are in a state where not available
- Display power usage on GPU tab when using Ccminer
- Profit switching information in the View Details dialog lists the configured hashrate per algorithm
- Prevent Windows from going into sleep mode while the application is running
- Improved failure messages when a miner cannot start, to show more information about mining software and algorithm used
- Improved sorting in the lists on the Balance tab
- Additional settings for specifying duration of benchmarks
- Adjustment to XMRig miner command line by forcing either Cryptonight or CryptonightV7 as the auto detection in XMRig isn't always working
- CastXMR 1.0 with Cryptonight-Lite support
- Claymore Dual Ethereum Miner 11.7
- Correction to Block Masters API integration, to use HTTP as HTTPS is no longer supported
- Correction to custom online services where multiple services uses the same algorithm
- Correction to Pool Balance total value when using specific display currencies
- Correction to display of Mining Dutch X11 profit information
- Minor corrections

The upgrade did not work the first time. It looks like the uninstall part worked but not installing the new version. I had to reinstall 4.7.4 and upgrade a second time for it to work.

I created a new miner for my cpu using XMRIG but one my ryzen i can use up to 16 core right now only getting 8 used . I went to appdata for xmrig. but the json file is not configurated at all. how can change the settings ?

Thanks

You have 8 cores/16 threads and 16MB of cache. Cryptonight likes 2 megabytes of cache per thread and as such 8 threads used is normal for a Ryzen 7. What hashrate are you getting?

Have a Ryzen 1700X overclocked at 4ghz, with xmrig on awsome miner i get 450h/s, but when i mine with xmr stack i get 640h/s xmr stack use 15 threads.

Run awesome miner or the agent as Administrator and set the xmrig binary to run as administrator as well. Usually the xmrig folder Awesome Miner downloads is in c:/users//AppData/Local/AwesomeMiner/xmrig... for the remote service it's in c:/users//AppData/Roaming/AwesomeMinerService/xmrig... You have to run as admin for xmrig to be able to use huge pages which should get you more hashrate. You may also need make a group policy change to enable it. Can you post a screen shot of the xmrig window when it first starts or run diagnostics on it from within Awesome Miner and post that.

When I view profitability details on my dual Vega setup it's showing cryptonight v7 as 0.00 profit per day for MiningPoolHub which is definitely wrong. Something appears to be broken with the V7 handling.
I just noticed that MiningPoolHub changed their API's during the day for their reporting of Cryptonight / CryptonightV7. The naming of the algorithm in their API response has changed. I will have to see what these changes are about and adjust Awesome Miner to it.

Gotta love unannounced changes Smiley

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, but when I benchmark x16r on my 1080 I get 32MH/s with RavenMiner and 26MH/s on CCMiner - however when I actually start mining on ZergPool it gets 13MH/s on both.

Same problem with my mining cluster of 970's - 17MH/s when benchmarking, but 4.5MH/s when mining.

Could be related to difficulty used during the benchmark, and/or that x16r hops algorithms so your hashrate will depend on what algo it's currently chewing on. Best thing is to leave the high hashrate from the benchmark, sacrifice an hour of mining time and take an average hashrate from that hours worth of mining. Alternatively if you wanted to be conservative you could take the slowest hashrate during the hour.

Patrike,

Would it be possible to add blazepool support for manged profit miners? With all the issues with some of the pools lately it would be nice to have more options available.

Fantastic, this is going to save me hours upon hours of time.  A few more small quality of life requests:

-Make it so that when I select a group with miners that are mixed mining, stopped and offline that it doesnt grey out functions. Start should just start all that are capable of starting, and ignore those that are already running or offline. Stop should stop everything thats running. Upgrade remote agent should just upgrade the ones that are online and upgradeable.

-This one is really simple: Automatically stop the miner when the benchmarking dialog is opened.

A few more little things:

 - Be able to right click a miner and go to benchmark directly instead of having to use the top tabs all the time. Now that we can do other things while benchmarking this will make life a bit easier/quicker when making adjustments.

 - In the benchmark window it would be nice to right click an algorithm and be able to run diagnostics on that specific algorithm/miner/configuration. Right now to diagnose issues while benchmarking you have to go through a weird dance of either setting the profit really high and starting the miner normally or disabling a ton of algorithms and running diagnostics that way.

So which one is the best x16r miner so far to use in awesomeminer?

Seems like suprminer posted above. However tpruvot release ccminer 2.2.5 today. I haven't tested that yet.

edit: I tested ccminer 2.2.5 and it does not appear any faster than RavenMiner or suprminer with suprminer still being quickest.

https://github.com/ocminer/suprminer/releases/tag/1.5
Updated and Optimized Supminer ccMiner fork for X16r/X16S Mining

Yea this one made a bit of a difference. Steady state hashrate on my 1080ti/1070ti combo went from ~25MH/s to ~31MH/s for x16r. Looking at the changelog, there are a few other algorithms that seemed to have been changed but they don't bench any quicker than ccminer/ccminer-KlausT. Be sure to do a precise benchmark for it if you add it manually to Awesome Miner and then save your hashrate after mining for a while. It takes about 10 minutes or so to fully ramp up to the steady state speed.

Is Awesome Miner capable of running two separate mining programs per rig? I have one rig with a 3GB 1060 which as of this morning refuses to work with Claymore/Phoenix with -eres 0 set. I have a dual profit profile setup, with both a 1060 profile and 1070 profile included. If I disable Claymore/Phoenix in the 1060 profile and the rig is set to use the parent profile it still tries to run Claymore/Phoenix on the 1060.

I've got a new rig and for some reason I'm not able to benchmark anything with Excavator (the new version). I keep getting the error:
Thanks for reporting this issue. A correction will soon be made available.

Thanks for the quick fix. I saw this note in the Excavator 1.5.0 alpha release notes today:

Code:
From version 1.5.0a further excavator supports only NiceHash stratum servers. Stratum servers are available at:
nhmp.LOCATION.nicehash.com (LOCATION: eu, usa, hk, jp, in, br).

https://github.com/nicehash/excavator/releases/tag/v1.5.0a

I'm guessing that without some hostfile changes to fake out the DNS lookup we'll not be able to use excavator with other pools anymore.
