This is not encouraging I've read every bit of this announcement. I'm actually mining etnxp right now perhaps for a little while just on the random chance that this team actually does have their crap together and is dealing with the horrible crypto Market and the stupid crypto investors who expect to be millionaires overnight. Everyone's pissed off. I would have liked to see my ETNX be worth the same amount as it is trading for on trade ogre. I'm just going to pick up a few days worth of etnxp and hope for the best. Good luck guys it's a shitstorm out there

I am still mining XTL and sadly watching the reward rate good down steadily. Gonna hold as much as I can but I hope you all have some solid plans to make it worth hodling. It always takes more time than we think it will....

Electroneum is on Tradeogre and they seem to have development too as well as XTL. So I think your statement is not entirely correct. Some good coins and companies on TradeOgre.
GRAFT Anti-ASIC Major Network Update 1.5 on October 31, 2018
GRAFT developers just released a new version of GRAFT software for the upcoming major network update that will introduce a new variation of the PoW hash algorithm which prevents ASIC mining. Network hashrate is important, but it is not the only factor in blockchain security. The way this hash power is distributed between the miners is also important. ASICs break the balance and facilitate centralization (concentration of hash power) which can be dangerous for the network.
The major network update will apply a new variation of CryptoNight hash algorithm (CryptoNight V8 / CN variant 2) which is currently ASIC-resistant. The source code of the new version 1.5 can be downloaded from master. The binaries for Linux and Windows will be available shortly (please follow GRAFT Twitter account for the notification).
The major network update (aka hard fork) in GRAFT mainnet is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31st at block 207,700 (block 194,130 in GRAFT testnet tomorrow, October 24, 2018).
The major network update means that if you are running the GRAFT network node (graftnoded) you must upgrade to the latest software before October 31st. If you do not upgrade your node before October 31st, it will be disconnected from the mainnet. Note that users of GRAFT mobile and desktop wallets are not affected by the hard fork and should not do anything as long as they are still connected to the default proxy supernodes (if you are connected to your own supernode, do not forget to upgrade the underlying network node).
What about XMR-STAK? Will there be a new GitHub release for Windows 64 bit including the choice for the new V8 algorithm? Just curious if that is already available, will be soon, or is it not necessary? Thanks.
Also is there any expectation that rewards will increase or decrease for miners? With this new update / fork v8 and for the long term as well?

Anyone know where we can mine in a pool?
I set up the masternode through the wallet but that's not what I am trying to do...
I want to mine in a pool....if any exist.
Anyone know mining pool for futuro coin available now?
Cheers!

Nice! The Windows based wallet app is solid. I tested the transfer of some coin to my friend and it worked amazingly fast and reliable.
I really do hope this coin makes it to the exchanges and grows as an example of how to properly support their users with good software wallet.
Currently mining Electroneum...and I might pull one of my machines off to CPU mine and support this coin some more.
Cheers to your success.

HOW TO MINE ELECTRONEUM. Electroneum Mining. Support and Mining Pools

I have been mining Electroneum since October 31st when it opened for mining. We have seen a drastic range in results since we started.
At first our pool was cranking out blocks a few a day. Then the Nicehash folks jumped in and started killing all the other pools. With the DEATH/HACK of Nicehash it totally changed the game for Electroneum Mining.
When Nicehash was available....there were people spending sick amounts of money on Hashpower in a 4 or 5 ETN Mining Pools. While this allows multiple and frequent blocks in those pools...the reward is split with thousands of people...and very small. BIG POOL = Frequent small rewards. SMALL POOL = Less Frequent but mush larger rewards.
THE BEST STRATEGY? Get yourself hooked up with a smaller ACTIVE GROWING pool and ride the REWARDS on the way up. It may seem fruitless at first...but when you hit the blocks it's bigger. Electroneum Mining has just begun and it will get harder as the coin grows in value. I suggest you join our SUPPORT CHAT to get more detailed information on how to maximize your profits in mining Electroneum.

If you are looking for Electroneum Mining pools. Get an almost complete list of all the ETN pools available. Check out http://etnheartbeat.com
Our ETN pool is AN EASY ETN POOL. We provide an EasyMiner that connects to our pool for easy set up with Noob Miners. http://aneasy.etnpool.ca
As a new Electroneum miner I experienced great results. The first hour on the ETN Official EU pool I made 1340 ETN. Then people started coming on board to mine...and the rewards went down. So I started looking for pools.
There are a few big ones that are pushing Nicehash Hashpower on a regular basis to supplement the pool rate.
Like many others we started a pool of our own...but before most of them. We see alot of pools on http://etnheartbeat.com but many are tiny and not hitting any blocks.
We have had pretty good success as a starting pool. Up to 80 miners so far....and you can see that the rest of the pools are lagging in miners and hashpower.
As the network difficulty grows, these pools will have to get bigger to keep up with the Network Rate and big Hashpower pushers.
OR...you can consolidate with us...a pool that has had good success...so we can create a much larger network.
We have an amazing support team on telegram and discord. Facebook Group. Nicehash Pool Sponsor Opportunities.
Find me on Facebook under Greg Eddolls if you would like to get started.
We support Noob Miners as well with a custom EasyMiner app that is auto configured for our pool.
If you are struggling and burning hashpower with no results...come coordinate your hashpower with us at http://aneasy.etnpool.ca
