Just wanted to mention that my new house is completed:

http://narod.hr/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/F-ERDOGAN-PALACE.jpg

That looks like a mere penthouse apartment that Ceaușescu had built ontop of his "palace" as an after thought. (we all know what happened to him huh?)

http://romanianjournalist.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/casapoporului-adevarul.jpg

I have seen this place, it is f'kin huge.

This photos taken from Turkey. Our President built new house for him. I am also from Turkey. We are not happy for this "palace" because we have lots of problem and we are not wealthy country.
Oh as long as the islamic state smuggeling oil illegaly to your country, it will be the wealthiest in the near east. Because we buy this oil, we need it... The next 10 years will be the the greatest youve ever had since osmanian reich

I have concluded that libertarianism and anarchism is simply a mild hell on earth.  Altcoin forum has convinced me how utterly the idea has failed.

I'm not sure what my political ideology will be ... but congrats.

Scammers need jailtime.  Noobs need protection.  The idea of ethical and not ethical needs to be defined by something other than profit.

So yeah ... good job altcoin forum.

Maybe time to go back to the idea of dictatorship since democracy has also obviously failed ...
You are on the correct way my friend...

A comment by pookieklax (who the XC guys despise and have "banned") caught my eye. I don't know why he didn't post that comment earlier when he was in the know and it could save a lot of people continuing to fall for all the scams that Metcalf is involved in.

halcyondev = https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=367138

atcsecure = https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=88818

Apparently atcsecure did a review (lmao) of the HAL coin which was using some component of the XC shitcoin. Only they are apparently the same person which one can easily find by comparing the posting style, format etc. pookie knew this but never said anything up until today and posted in the XC thread which was deleted within seconds. I am convinced that all the other shitcoins of this Blocknet shit is also same group seeing as some of them have also being "reviewed".

A detailed XC thread needs to be started which explains all the charades these guys have been playing since the launch of XC.

So the XC dev Dan is a scam artist. What else is new?
Dude he is not a scam artist, he is a broker.  Cheesy

A little pre-emptive announcement:

A group of Bitcointalk users have modified (or perhaps completely invented) some IRC chat logs and screenshots in order to spread FUD about the Blocknet and XC.

It's incredibly easy to create a "record" of any purported conversation you want and present it as fact.
However such logs are not provably truthful, and in this case are false and clearly are posted with malicious intent.

Dan's identity is public and he has staked his personal reputation upon his public conduct and upon XC.

Dan has delivered - and overdelivered - on XC's tech for five months without fault. XC's timeline is testament to this.
And if Dan delivers (notably in the absence of any pumps on XC), then he is not out to scam people out of their money.

Pertaining to some equally vacuous FUD claims:
XC's premine was never dumped, but has been spent entirely on development.
Together with Dan's personal funds, it has funded XC's development.

On a final note, the collaborative spirit that inspired the Blocknet has led Dan to collaborate on a number of projects.
He has openly stated in advance his collaboration (on a freelance basis) with every coin that he has worked with.
This has been done candidly and Dan has nothing to hide regarding his collaborations.
(In fact, there's reason to be proud of the big-mindedness of rising above petty competition to benefit crypto as a whole.)

Why on earth would anyone want to bring down the blocknet if it was as pure as you have yourself believe. What purpose is it to spread "fud" about it. The blocknet does not hinder any project out of its progress and success!. You just insult everyone in one post.. gratz.

The people behind all of this stuff (blocknet, and coins involved) are crims and more evidence will surface very soon you can bet on that.. The truth always comes out eventually and these revelations will not stop..Most of us are sick of all these pump groups and the devs affiliating themselves with them (selling themselves to the devil for a pump and some money)!!

I would if i were you, refrain from commenting on these things in damage control. Its going to be damaging to yourself because you are clearly out of the loop. You are a paid employee after all.
Yea but the people don't learn. What do you think is the difference between FIAT and any Cryptocurrency? Nothing, exept not the Rockefellers get richer and richer...

Oh look! another thread with modified and grossly misrepresented statements taken out of context to bash a competing coin. You're stock bashing and fudding. Encouraging people to stop the ITO of a legitimate operation that involves developers from across crypto currency as a whole. Dan Metcalf is a capable dev who has met all of his promises to his community, dare i say EXCEEDED them. Go along with your bashing however, we'll be logging this and we won't need to copy paste and modify your statements to prove your intentions.
Why do they not publish a single line of code? Because they haven't anything. It's hot air nothing more. They have not to fear any legal consequences, because there is no regulation..

Bitcoin is a farce. The "free market economy" in miniature. There is nothing new, it isnt "decentralized" or whatever you thought. It is nothing more then a big scam, initiated by some inteligent guyz, but let me explain this to you:

The mining pools are the governmental institutions, they create BTC out of nothing (federeal reserve). The exchangers are the banks, they trade with BTC like shares. That means there is no consideration for those who "believe" in Bitcoin, early birds do their profit, all the others have to pay the bill. If you guys would know what I know... All exchangers manipulate the prize (because there is no regulation), yea you hear right, they can write whatever they want on their website! Bitcoin has no value, exact as FIAT. Its only the people who believe it has! Exchanger make $$$ out of nothing because of high-speed trades between each other. At the end there is the blackmarket (silk road). And all is controlled by a very very little amount of people, but there have their fingers in..
You guys should stop supporting it.

Synechist...curious what your BLOCK salary is?   Let's make that public so we don't have another XC fiasco on our hands.

I have not been paid by the Blocknet. I've been paid by XC, in XC only (well, in BTC twice if I remember correctly).

I am asking what you WILL be paid so we know before you're paid and not told when funds have been all spent...

Nothing has been decided.

If I am officially put on the Blocknet payroll, this will be announced.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with my salary becoming public knowledge, so perhaps that won't be disclosed.

My work for the Blocknet has been purely on a volunteer basis so far.

You guys promised us that bookkeeping of the funds would be open and on the blockchain, so unless you guys plan on breaking that promise, all expenditures that happen from the ITO funds will be public knowledge anyway. Which shouldn't be a bad thing, keeps everything as honnest as it possibly can. Wink

Transparency is necessary if you do such a projekt.

I totally agree  with your points and hope this will be solved here soon.

Yes, you're right, and all spending will be recorded on the blockchain. No question of that.

On the other hand it could make sense in terms of the privacy of devs for, say, coins to be taken from the funds in larger batches allocated to, say, a given release. From there, payments to individuals could be kept private, while the amount used for a given release will still be publicly disclosed.

How does that sound?

Sounds like there's something to hide.  No reason to not be transparent otherwise.  WE are paying your salary by participating, therefore, we deserve to know who is receiving the funds.  Argue that one.
He is correct, there is no reason to hide something from us! Roll Eyes

So you said at the beginning you have a part of the xbridge as code... How about publishing that on github?
Why no answer?

We're considering releasing some code as "proof-of-concept."

I'll update you if there are any developments on this front.

The problem is, that you didn't show us any new until this moment. As an Investor of your product, you should provide us more info whats going on.. We have seen the most on paper, and the wallet is just another fork. There is no difference technicly to every other coin here, but a lot of trading with these coins... Can it be that you guys trying to sell us just.... junk shares???
