You keep telling yourself ROI is right around the corner, then difficulty goes up, and you invest in another miner. You finally get some regular BTC coming in, then it slows down again in a couple weeks. NEED MORE HASHPOWER!
It's a disease. If you're just in it to hobby and speculate, go ahead (that's what I told myself too).
But be very careful...once you see that Bitcoin Core wallet popup saying you have an incoming payment, it's over...
Can you connect The ethernet cable right into a laptop? Then run a wifi off it from your laptop (Windows 8.1 Ultrabook)? The problem is I have verizon wireless modem. Those things are crappy and garbage. I was wondering if the miner can run wifi as hotspot. If I buy wireless hub. Thanks
I don't know if that would work. I run Linux at home.

Looks like pcfli is also offline. Anyone able to contact hime?
From the 12 toxics I'm able to produce 9.4mh/s at under 3500watts. They are the best bang for your buck and most sought after cards. I have 56 of them running and 14 sitting around unopened sealed boxes collecting dust lol
Sorry for going off topic. What do you mine with 56 GPUs?
10btc worth of miners would likely consume too much power for a residential grid connection...
For 10btc you can get about 1.8 TH of sha256. At 1W/GH that comes to 1800W. Easily doable at home.

Cgminer stopped supporting GPUs after version 2.7.2. If you have a newer version then it won't work. You'll have to download version 2.7.2 and try again.

Is that an ATI HD 5870? If so you may want to try using cgminer or bfgminer instead. Cudaminer is useful for NVIDIA cards.

You can try mazacoin or myriadcoin. As you say, they are not worth a lot but you get more of them.
I am mining Bitcoins and I am part of a pool. I do have a screenshot but don't know how to upload it.
If you are mining bitcoin, a GPU is not going to cut it. Even if you get it to work it won't be worth it. Use your GPU to mine a scrypt coin such as litecoin or dogecoin. If you want to mine bitcoin you need to get an asic miner such as an antminer.
