We have got a lot (!) of feedback on all our channels (chat, private messages, forum ...) in regard to the exchange listing - thank you and it’s great to see that you want to push SunCoin forward. We will stay with graviex (first payment done), but we agree that a second or a much more important exchange like CryptoBridge would help SunCoin a lot to get a stable foundation. Exchange Listing

It is time to talk about exchange listing: We are happy to share that based on the discussion with multiple exchange development teams as well as with our investors / advisory board, we made an exchange listing decision.

The first exchange we are going for is: https://graviex.net. It’s not only based on the capital and fund we have available for the exchange listing, it is also about the roadmap of graviex. The team of graviex is working hard to grow the exchange and bring it to the next level, but still keep it stable. With a daily trading volume of 30 +/- btc, graviex has become a important altcoin exchange. And yes, we know that not everything is perfect, but following the continuous improvement pattern, we believe graviex can be an important partner for SunCoin in the early days.

We are happy to announce and share a very important and new bounty: SunCoin Project Proposal Bounty !

As we already outlined in one of the last announcements, one important element of SunCoin is the project funding with the SunCoin budget system aka "CO2 initiative Fund". The purpose of this fund is to support initiatives and projects that have an positive impact on the CO2 balance. SunCoin wants to add a share on the positive side of the balance, by funding projects that seek ways to reduce CO2 emissions. This may range from replanting tree in the rainforest, to investment into research and development for new concepts in crypto.

Therefore we need your help / new bounty

• We are looking for initiatives and projects we should support with the SunCoin initiative fund
• Please post your project proposals at this bitcointalk thread (see requirements)
• Post requirements: Project abstract, why it fits to SunCoin, project contact person and your SUN address
• Each proposal will be rewarded with 20 SUN (see rules)

we are now live and available since one week. Time for a recap and outlook on the next steps.

„It‘s crypto - you don‘t know what comes next“ is a common phrase these days. But we didn‘t expect a journey with that much excitement, as we had with SunCoin in the past few days. The team is not new in the software business, but releasing a coin is completely different to application development or a SaaS offering. In the normal world, you do not see social engineering password snooping before you release a product. And this is just one example, as our yesterday’s experiences have shown.

So yes, we can only repeat and say: Keep your eyes open and rather stop, if you feel there is something fishy.

So what are the next steps with SunCoin. Our main goal is to position SunCoin on a nice exchange. At the end of a day, everyone is curious on the market value. And we‘d like to thank everyone who shared his and her experiences and good advice. We are not yet there to have the listing fees all together. So our team put the focus on selling the last two master nodes.

In parallel, we‘d like to extend the reach of SunCoin. Our manifest provides us with enough potential to share new stories and also seek new interested projects, that are worthwhile being spread and maybe also funded with our CO2 initiative fund, if the community votes for the same. The more people know about the coin and its purpose, the better this will affect demand and supply of the same.

let me share with you the latest progress on the CO2 initiative fund

Project Funding with SunCoin Budget System aka "CO2 initiative Fund"

As you know, SunCoin is a fork from Dash. One reason, why the team picked Dash as underlying technology was the concept of the budget system.
Following our manifest, we are big believers in the blockchain technology, as well as the community - with all it takes: miners, MNs, investors and their enthusiasts. But where is light there is shadow - and yes, there was some pretty bad bashing on the energy consumption for PoW. All haters of crypto try to bring it down with whatevery they can find.

Which brings us to the project funding using our SunCoin Budget System or how we'd like to call it "CO2 initiative fund". The purpose of this find is to support initiatives that have an positive impact on the CO2 balance.

As a quick reminder: carbon dioxide (CO2) is released into the atmosphere while e.g. burning coal or gas to generate energy. Today scientists found out, that there is strong evidence that the buildup of GHGs (CO2 is one major) is the primary cause of the global warming that has occurred in recent decades. As a result we have extreme weather like heavy rains or extreme dry periods.

How is CO2 connected to crypto or mining? First, we need energy. If your energy provider uses 100% renewable energy (Sun or wind power plants), then you might have an better CO2 balance for whatever electric device you use than the rest of us. Alternatives are Nuclear power plants or coal, gas, oil burning, which require create some sort of waste to our environment. Second, by producing the electronic parts, that one need to mine also have their carbon footprint - raw materials had to be gathered, hardware manufactured and shipped.

SunCoin wants to add a share on the positive side of the balance, by funding projects that seek ways to reduce CO2 emissions. And today we'd like to give you one example of a project, that we see as a nice fit.

Project proposal: Batteryhasher – 18650 powered mining

Pete from Australia is a DIY-guy and is building his own powerwalls using old laptop batteries. So, beside the fact, that his setup is cheaper than e.g. a Tesla power wall, he idea is also reducing electronic waste by repurposing these old laptop batteries.
