I want to invest about 500$
any suggestions what will go very high?

Thanks

ColossusXT (COLX), its has an active community and developers, its not on a mayor exchange and they'll burn more that 1B coins by tomorrow. This has everything to  get x4 gains in less that a week and even more if you hodl long enough.

ADA and LTC, if the Cardano team delivers its going to be a better alternative that Ethereum and LTC is old, cheap and is quietly being used as a medium of exchange (should be bitcoin but you know... fees matter...)

Every day is worth investing on BTC, speculators can still make a lot of money and FOMO is getting bigger, also more forks to come and most people see that as free money.

Don't wonder around just make the decision, be informed and patience my friend

I prefer Waves, but because its easier to setup that ETH people can plan scams easily.

Does NEM support tokens!? Didn't know that Tongue

Its a good thing, but its ripple, the circulating supply is used as an speculative asset. But the fact that more business are trying blockchain technology means there's a possibility for mass adoption.

Well there's also lending on Poloniex, you can lend coins to someone and get money from the interest.

I think Monero is the most famous anonymous altcoin, and its being adopted in the dark web because of that.

You could also use Kraken, Bittrex or an exchange as wallet (not recommended, but easier to setup). But I think Gatehub is the best if you need an XRP wallet.

EDIT: My bad saw your older post and it seens you are involved with it.

If you had $50,000 to invest into mining, or coins...

Would you GPU Mine, or buy Asics?
What percentage would you put into altcoins?

I'm curious to see how others would spread their money.

For me, I would probably start with half GPU mining, half Asics.  I'm new though so I'm not sure what is best if I had that type of money.

Cloud mining exist, you could use that service to mine a coin that you know is going to rise in price in the long term and something personal I would do is to take $1000 and spread it out on some promising, small, new altcoins, worst case scenario you lose 5% of your $50k.

I think the article is wrong, what I heard is that China banned some chinese exchanges and they will close operations at the end of this month.

But still everything else it said applies, BTC can't be ban and there's a lot of chinese people that prefer BTC better that Yuan.

Reach out to the people you want to work with, I would advise you to have at least a draft. A visual clue of what do you want to do will create more engagement.

Didn't know that. So they are trying to get rid of ads and mine coins instead, looks interesting, but does that gives them enough hashing power to mine successfully? Doesn't that makes some low budget PCs run slower?

Re: I’ve got a stupid question...
by
sunhany
on 17/09/2017, 00:54:40 UTC
Ok, I’m new to cryptocurrencies and “markets” in general. I’ve invested in a few different alt coins and have got what may be a really stupid question and hope someone could clear it up for me.

Say you’ve invested $500 in bitcoin at the latest rate, and purchased an altcoin at a price which is very appealing. What happens if (over time obviously) Bitcoin deflates massively but the altcoin value rockets? How could you get what is effectively a handsome profit to a fiat currency without losing?

Thank in advance!

You can exchange your profits to Tether (USDT) this is a crypto that keeps its price equals to 1 dollar per unit. Most exchanges have this coin, check it out here: https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/#markets
