Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I think it's a good start though I just have 3 points for your consideration:
1. don't invest ALL your savings, save some for a rainy day. Maybe start with $5000 instead.
2. consider allocating higher % to bitcoin (60-80%)
3. consider allocating into 1 or 2 more altcoins in different verticals (e.g. anonymous coins such as xmr or zec)

After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

i've been lurking for a long time (couple years), and imo the best strategy is to dollar-cost-average into bitcoin from the first day you decide to invest. it's not easy to know when the floor is, so if you plan to hold BTC over the long term (3-5 years), your best bet would be to start by buying every week or every month for the next year or two.
