The ElectriCChain is an open Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) gathering for a network of talented developers to explore and use the SolarCoin Blockchain and other Blockchains such as Ethereum and IOTA's Tangle. ElectriCChains primary goal is to build the worlds largest open scientific solar monitoring system by connecting solar monitoring devices (Dataloggers, Inverters and Raspberry Pi nodes) with the SolarCoin Blockchain. Along the way we want many projects that innovate, explore and inspire the future of IOT, Solar energy and Blockchain technologies for good.

Several use-cases, discussions and/or pilots are underway among which a "new-language-layer" project for building a cross-Blockchain language for synchronization between Blockchains, connecting and granting SolarCoins to the International Space Station and NASA's Ames Research Center, the development and deployment of ROKAS Raspberry Pi Staking Node
The ElectriCChain's first use case is being developed with IOTA, ChainofThings, BitSeed and Solcrypto to develop a Datalogger and connect Tangle (and/or the Grid-Singularity Ethereum Blockchain) to the SolarCoin Blockchain so that the ElectriCChain can identify, monitor and grant SolarCoins to solar installs, helping growing the ElectriCChain node count and serve the Mission of reaching out to 7million+ solar owners.

update on electricchain.org feel free to join if you wish monitor. call was held with sr. manager in energy at Xerox Parc yesterday they are introducing to software and hardware teams. NASA conversation is on Friday. Good discussions with IOTA / GridSingularity being held pilot projects being planned. Things moving well with sunspec. Meeting with Michael Casey of MIT is leading to some students getting introduced to the project soon.

SolarCoiner, as a matter of fact we are in discussion with Uphold with SLR, what are the reasons you think SLR should be in there ?Great! I think SLR deserves to be on uphold for a number of reasons:
-Their vision is and I quote "Join the world's fastest growing platform for moving, converting, transacting and holding ANY form of money or commodity"
With all the madness going in right now in Bitcoin, I think it would be a smart move to add a innovative coin Like Solarcoin. A coin that has a vision and it set out to make this world a better place. Just like the vision they have!
Solarcoin has the potential to become a real competitor to Bitcoin! I remember the CEO of Uphold saying he doesn't think bitcoin will be around for long anymore. I disagree but that's not the point. Would't it make sense to add an alternative cryptocurrency to their Portfolio?
This would also help Solarcoin a lot because it's a shame it's only really traded on bittrex. The whole point of projects like these is decentralization and unfortunately at the moment the market is very centralized.
If I was the CEO of uphold I would get in touch with large SLR holders to try and get a deal on a large amount of coins.
It's really a no brainer to me, Solarcoin is waaaay more interesting than much larger competitors like Dash or even litecoin.
Last but not least I would love to add some SLR to a Solarcoin Card if it existed. I like the idea behind Uphold so I decided to trust them with a bit of my money. Solarcoin is my favorite commodity so I would add some of my coins to my uphold portfolio right away.

It does take time to discuss with these larger-than-us groups (UpHold), but we are indeed thinking about listing slr with them.

Still no new coins received (from interest) in staking since 15h.

The problem is this is how PoST is. We need more people to run there wallets and stake.
Maybe everyone that got large amounts of solarcoins could send them back to the generator pool.

Think this might be a better solution indeed - assuming there is no default in the POST code - Note that I haven't staked in 8hours now
Getting everyone to agree to send their interest to the generator pool is noble, but not enforceable. A 2.0.2 release would ensure that everyone is complying and the large interest payments in your wallet will show as "conflicted". A memorial, if you will.

I'd like everyone to consider taking a few minutes of your time and thinking about what's happened:
I got into Solarcoin a little over 2 years ago when it all started. I chose to invest because I like the idea behind this coin very much, AND because for the price it was a very good deal because at the time there were only a few million in circulation. Up untill yesterday there were a little over 34 Million Solarcoins created. That's almost the same amount as litecoin, so I can really see the potential of this coin if demand starts rising.
HOWEVER since yesterdays fork at block 830000 after the implementation of POST a sh*tload of new coins have been created out of thin air effectively making me and many others very rich at current SLR prices. These interest payments wont be confirmed untill 350 more blocks or so, that means we still have time to revert the change and go back to where we were before POST.
I suggest looking into the interest code as y_virtual said and try to find the error. like he said something like /100 sounds about right.
IF we choose to keep everything as it is i'm afraid solarcoin is doomed. Think about it , the orderbook on bittrex (the only exchange at the time being) is so thin, I could wipe out all the buy orders with my first interest payment and still have more SLR than I started off with. At the time being it looks like over 20 Million new SLR coins have been created.
It's basic supply and demand guys, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that the price would collapse and Solarcoin would have a VERY hard time surviving.
Let me finish off by saying if things stay the way they are I no longer want to be part of this community.
Up untill now I have been very happy with the way Solarcoin was headed but this is simply crazy.
I hope the developers will come to their senses and switch back to mining for the time being

Let's keep calm and give it some time - again, I haven't staked in quite a while and if there is a solution to send back to the generator pool the slrs unduly received, this might be a solution
