It does not matter that the dev stole some coin, it been said many time by others that Icelanders don't know about btctalk. I won't be much on for next month to follow this thread but I advise everyone not to sell coins cheap. I have built up close to 1% of the total supply just by trading and will sell in small quantity when time is right not to crash market. Good luck to team if it fails I don't care if it succeeds I make some extra money and become rich off teams hard work. bye for now.
How much of the premine got distributed to Icelanders and how much did the dev steal?

What if less than 3000 people apply?
Is there a deadline or will applications keep being accepted months from now?

Can you state exactly what you mean by a "quality post"?
Does it have to be a certain length?

Re: Kora::Sibling of Qora::Free & Fair distribution::REGISTRATION COUNTDOWN!!
That sounds right. Bitstamp recently had their funds audited and created the biggest bitcoin wallet in history to do it. I'm sure the big exchanges must hold the biggest wallets for most coins.
I don't think its a good idea to just let non-used coins get destroyed.
Let's just keep it reasonable simple and get this thing going ASAP, we don't need to delay this project even further than it has now
2 M coins destroy and put into POW seems like an okay idea to me.
Imagine if you had to go into hospital for a few months. When you got out all your coins would have been destroyed. Just going on holiday and finding you had no internet access could result in all your coins being destroyed.
Although the dev seems to have posted for the last time on 09 May there is a small chance he might reappear. I'd give it another week or two before you give up completely.

1 Vote for 40%, but there is not an option to vote for 100%. You can see I'm a big PoS fan, so I'm biased.
You will never be able to make this list, because aside from a very few devs, most of them create a sock puppet name, and name themselves after the coin they want to represent. The same dev could be behind 5 coins but no one would ever know.
Some coins look almost identical except for the name and a slight logo change. They have different dev names (with newbie accounts), but I suspect they are by the same dev.

Re: HBN Investment Journal - 2% returns every ten days - 80,000+ HBN Porfolio
I'm sort of torn between wishing I had invested a chunk of cash into POS coins like hbn. The thing is so many coins just end up flopping, I don't really want to end up being a bagholder, and hbn prices are awfully high now. I mined all my HBN so I only have about a thousand.
Now's probably a good time to buy HBN, with the recent price dip.
Staking can really accelerate when it compounds, so the sooner you buy and hodl the better.
Disclosure: I hold a HBN position and am nibbling at these prices.
I'm thrilled that prices dipped a bit, now I'm getting more from my hashcows mining efforts again. For a couple days there I was getting way less due to skyrocketing price + multipool mining kind of sucking lately.
I always buy the dip with HBN.
Do you think now is the lowest point in the dip?

Maybe he wanted to swap his coins for something with a more sensible name.
