At the time of writing this there are currently 11674425 in circulation having been mined. So we are nearly at the 12 Million mark. The cap is at 21 Million.

Recent stats show:

Time Between Blocks   8.28 (minutes)
Bitcoins Mined   4,350 BTC

The stats are for the last 24 hour period.

So my question is this - WHAT DATE DO YOU PREDICT THE BITCOINS TO ALL HAVE BEEN MINED??

There are going to be more and more miners added to the network as time goes along so take this into consideration.

If someone gets the date right we will try and get the owner of JUST-DICE.COM to sponsor a PRIZE!

I think there needs to be much more confidence in the moarket first. Bitcoins are a great concept and is working however I think that currently there are too many security risks involved. There have been many scares and as these are well publicised it brings the confidence in the market down.

As this improves, as I'm sure it will, we will gradually more confident and IMO this will drive the value forward.

Also we have to take into consideration the fact that the Bitcoins are becoming more and more elusive. Im going to start a thead on when people are fircasting the last bitcoin to be mined. It will be interesting to gather all your thoughts! Please check this forum for the post!
