Re: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BULL RUN 2019
by
surix
on 15/01/2019, 00:13:30 UTC
I really don't think there will be any bull-run in 2019, it's just too early. Based on past experience, it will take at least 1 year for everything to calm down. So there maybe something in 2020, when approaching to next halving.

Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins?
by
surix
on 03/04/2018, 07:56:11 UTC
The answer is highly dependent on the amount:
- if the amount is rather small, then you can go for almost anything, nobody will run after you for tax;
- if the amount is decent, then you can go for physical meetings for cash;
-  if the amount is important, then you can establish a company and hire a good accountant, pay the tax and find some cost for optimization;
- if the amount if ginormous, then... move to a country that doesn't charge tax on bitcoin...

Re: EU hates Bitcoin

I don't see that, OP can give more facts to support your argument?

Some EU countries, like Poland, seems not to be very friendly with BTC; but others I would say it's not bad.

Re: How can you manage potential losses during a crash
by

Any trading patterns work under certain conditions and assumptions.

Your method suggest that the price will one day go back up after the drop (so your decision of purchase is based on it).

Then ask yourself a question, if you know for sure that price will go up in the future, why you don't already put everything now?

If you assume that future price is completely unknown, your strategy will be very different from the one you stated.

It is very easy on the paper, in real life, as you can not predict the future and price can go wildly in one direction, you can not know the "right" entry/exit point.

So, if you really want to trade, there are lots of books that you can learn from. Do so before you put any serious money in it.

Actually, this is true for most of us.

House is one of the biggest spend of our life (in single piece, doesn't count children's education etc.).

I'm also working on it. Bitcoin is good, but trading is very risky and holding it doesnt generate cash flow - so maybe starting a business can be a good idea.

Just a word of warning for the buyer, you will leave a delivery address and in case the seller uses carded gift cards, police may come to knock your door.

Re: New rich people thanks to BTC
by
surix
on 24/01/2018, 11:00:41 UTC
First of all, can 1 million USD really make you rich?

Bitcoin is an asset, not a cash generator. So if you only set on top of your bitcoin(s), then they will become only less and less when you cash out. And if you want to support yourself for 10years, 1 million is only a drop of water...

Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto?
by

It is possible but much more difficult than if you have some starting fund.

I have participated in Deep-onion airdrop round 1, so for this "project" i didn't invest and I have now some onion in hand.

Not enough for a living, but still nice profit from nothing, if it's what you are looking for.

I will not judge your plan, as long as you know what you are doing.

But I'm really curious what will be the result in 3 months, if you really did what you said.

You may really get several houses Smiley

Just don't get too greedy and take profit in time.

If the strong resistance at 10K USD is confirmed, than buy as soon as possible. After the panic sale on Asian news, price will go back up.

A lot of alts are also creating millionaires, don't forget that BTC's domination is only 32% of market share; I think there may be more rich people created by alts than bitcoins.

Re: WALMART|AMAZON(de)(us)|EBAY|ITUNES GIFT CARDS %% BulkPrices LEGIT! ESCROW
by

on 10/01/2018, 15:51:38 UTC
Update 2018-01-21: Amazon has hold the gift card balance. So his card has some problems, please don't purchase.

Update 2018-01-11: so far so good.
Update 2018-01-13: Everything seems to be fine.

Original post:

Bought 2x Amazon de code from the seller via Paxful:

- In discussion he stated they are physical cards but when transacting, they appear to be codes (reason: no phone/camera at hand);
- Nevertheless, I continue the transaction, codes successfully entered the account;
- I waited one day, so far there is no any problem. I will buy some small stuff first;

So:
- If any other buyer wants to purchase, I would recommend to insist getting photos of cards, not code only;
- If any problem will happen, I will come back and post;

In general the communication is good and transaction is smooth.

Re: Best tip on saving money

Any time you get money, just put 20% right away to a saving account;
If you really suck at controlling yourself not to touch it, ask someone else to hold it for you, or put it into a locked long term investment.

1. You should teach us how to do it, because you profitability is higher than most of us here!
2. If I were you, I will keep some BTC aside, and use the rest to continue to speculate, and to get higher return;
3. Cash out some to enjoy life!

The competition is strong, for sure. But in short term, there is not yet any coin that gets close to Bitcoin's developing power and infrastructure maturity.

In long term, it's hard to say but I would not surprised to see that bitcoin below 20% of market share...

I remember someone said that in dot com bubble, institutional money enter before the public; but in bitcoin bubble, the public enter before institutional money.

So early adopters are benefiting the institutional money, I can say it's really a blessing for those who hodl.

Everyone needs a break... Even crypto market is 24/7, it's still driven by people and most people around the world are enjoying holidays with family and friends, no fresh money to inject and price is slowly going down, I would not worry too much about that.

Let's wait and see how the beginning of 2018 will look like.
