Could also be that the true mem speed is back to its original/stock setting.

^This.  It is hard coded into the GPU's BIOS on the 6000/7000 series cards to only allow 150mhz below engine clock.

Dropping a 6000 series card to 300mhz would make the LTC hash rate drop significantly.

Seems dropping it and modifying other settings is dropping the temps and keeping the kH/s near constant.

You don't need high mem clock for mining, I run all my 7970's at 1125-1140 core with 1000 clock fan auto and I never hit above 80C and hashing at 670-700MH per card

He's mining LTC.  Yes, you need a high mem clock for LTC mining.

Correct (for Windows anyways).  If you're using the Diablo kernel, 7 is fine.  If you're using poclbm under Windows, that's still fine.  If you're using poclbm in Linux though -- you'll need 11.

It's a setting (not the card).  I know that MSI AB does this, but I can't vouch for Trixx.

Excellent work, thecryptokeeper!  Did your LEPA come with a 6th PCI-E cable, or did you make one/buy one separately?

Heya cryptokeeper,

I think you might have misunderstood my question, or I worded it poorly.  One of your cables from the PSU to the video card is different from the other (I believe the PSU only comes with 5 PCI-E cables as opposed to six.  Did you make the 6th one, or does somebody sell one?

Thanks!

So how am I getting away with not having to use one ?

Dummy plugs were needed with older versions of the AMD driver.

I'm still waiting on my batch 1 miners.  I've got 20 of them stuck in China customs since the 16th.  They say they keep trying to contact Bitmain.  I sent a message to Bitmain almost a week ago.  No response.

I think item is not clear about something as manufacture, origins, specifications, invoice...
Customs do not accept to export/import it.
If it will be exported from china, i think when it go to your country, it will have same problems with customs in your country

Odd...  I would think Bitmain has sent enough of these to not make that mistake.  Who knows though.  I should probably contact them.  :-/

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Has anyone had customs take this long before?  If I had an option to cancel this, I would.  It's going to be two weeks without mining by the time this gets here:

Anyone else still waiting for customs?  All of my S3s have been stuck there for almost 7 days now.    :-/   I'm losing all kinds of BTC while waiting.

So it looks like I'm going to have to start getting rid of some of my ASICs, underclock my FrankenJups even more or look for datacenter hosting... unless someone has some other helpful tips that don't involve me adding more electrical service to my house.

Maybe you know this already, but remember that the electrical load is being spread between two conductors to the home.  If you manage to put 100 amps on one conductor, the breaker will trip even if the other conductor only has 50.  You've got quite a bit there (especially the AC), but you may be able to rearrange things so that the breaker doesn't trip (move some of the miners to a different circuit either by plugging them in somewhere else or swapping a breaker or two in the panel so that the load is on the other conductor).  If you've got a clamp meter, it'd be handy.

Refund in USD received for my Batch 2 Neptune order.

Kinda bummed I went the refund route (wanted the miner), but I couldn't rationalize keeping that pre-order any longer with the landscape changing so quickly, recently :\

Same.  I requested a refund on my CA batch 1 Neptunes.  Mine was a very early order, but I still can't justify keeping the order vs a refund at this point.

Something is either wrong with the fan controller or the RPM wire is loose (so it's defaulting to full speed).  The S1's are almost dead quiet when they're cold, but the fan will ramp up a little as they warm up.

The buyer hasn't been responding to PMs since the initial offer to buy the blades.

They're up for grabs by anyone else again, and the price has been lowered to 0.076 BTC each.

I see there are a couple other people on the thread who are interested ... I am interested in closing the entire deal here and taking them all off your hands.

My current farm makes over .08 BTC per day and I have been stacking coins.

You should respond to my message and we should make a deal.

I am not poor so I wont low ball you lol
You said in your PM that you were interested in buying just one, and then eventually maybe buying more.

Again, I've got a possible buyer for all of them.  I'll give him a little time to respond/pay and then I'll entertain other offers for smaller orders.

Pretty sure those will not mine alt coins.

SHA256 only.
There are quite a few SHA256 alt coins.  Perhaps you missed out on the Mazacoin/Takeicoin madness?  Tongue

Shit, you would have been rich if you held onto your BTC lol.
Tell me about it.  :-/

im sure he didwell if he paid that much hw git em first
Not even close.  Losing more than half of my money isn't doing very well at all, and if it's measured in USD instead, I meant "losing more than 85 percent of my money".  The opportunity cost on the blades was brutal.

hello .....
Hi.  Sorry, I've disregarded a lot of PMs that asked me for unreasonable deals and free shipping (which likely costs half of the price of a blade or more for just a single item).  I only have so much time to respond to PMs, so I can only take serious offers seriously.

I have an offer to buy the whole lot and am waiting on a response.  I'd much rather sell in bulk than to 50+ buyers, so we'll see if the deal goes through and I'll update the thread.
