Waltonchain is on fire so far this month!

One of their subsidiaries, Xiamen Zhongchuan IOT Industry Development Co., has released how they are leading smart city development in China - from parking to waste management.
The link, in Chinese but can translate with Chrome, is here: http://www.zcwlw.net/zc_solution.html

All this will be managed on child chains from Waltonchain’s blockchain. They have already launched their mining for everyone, so this is all coming together in 2018!

For everyone in Singapore crypto scene, what do you think of/know of COSS? They are an exchange based out of Singapore, and I see from twitter that they sometimes present at meetups in Singapore. Has anyone interacted with the team and have an idea of how legit or professional they are?
I want to use their exchange and invest in their token, but I don't know how good their team actually is.

Creating an international directory of lawyers for blockchain/crypto
by
sweetstakes
on 18/03/2018, 03:11:36 UTC
Hi all,

I am part of a team that helps blockchain projects from a business/marketing side of things, and we are planning to expand our website with an international directory of helpful services for projects.

One of those service areas is 'legal', so we are looking for lawyers/legal teams from any country that would like to be part of the directory. If interested, or know someone who is, then please let me know and I can provide some more info!

Our website is firstbloc.io

Just joined the forum and new to cryptocurrency.
I hope some of you experienced people can help/advise me on the following:

Are there any exchanges which allows me to do all of the following:
a. Deposit S$ by bank transfer directly from my SG bank account
b. Buy/sell many currencies like XRP, NEO, Monero etc. etc.
c. Able to sell the various currencies in S$ or US$ and withdraw the funds directly to my SG bank account

Any help on the above will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

COSS is supposed to launch its fiat gateway next month, March. It is an exchange based in Singapore so I assume it’ll be in Singapore currency. I believe it’ll be exchanged for bitcoin and ethereum only, but they have most of the major coins on the exchange juts really low volume though.

WTC for sure, can’t wait for the payoff from mining once mainnet is released. Also, COSS as its exchange will begin excepting fiat in March.

Like the title states, looking for legal support to evaluate a project and business model to determine if a token is or is not considered a security according to Singapore’s Securities and Futures Act.

why was not 1: 1 token distribution as promised ?

It still is 1:1 for ocl. There are 50 million OCL tokens total.

100mil for wavesholders 1:1 and 50 million to OCL holders 1:1

Greetings, any of you know a lawyer in Singapore with blockchain experince?

Would help me out a great deal, thank you in advance.

Did you ever get a response to this? I am also looking for a lawyer that can comment on Singapore’s Securities and Futures Act, specially in regards to if a project’s token is or is not considered a security.

I was just thinking there was a deadline to get them into separate wallets though. I would need ten. I can't run ten wallets off one pc can I? I'm sure there are ways around it, just thought I would need it all in place by that date. Thanks for the help though.

Nice solution for your ten masternodes would be VPS with added IP's. You could manage all your WTC masternodes from one terminal. But I am sure there is no deadline to do it.

They have to be in wallets though by the 10th December. Could I make put them all in to the MEW wallet, but have ten different wallets inside that?

I dont think MEW allows you to store a wallet in a wallet, but it is really easy to create a new wallet on MEW - just click on the menu link that says ‘create new wallet’ and be sure to save the json file and private key.
In their AMA they mentioned that you would get more benefit from having multiple wallets with 5k in each of them than just one wallet with a lot of WTC.
Also, another thing is that this seems to be a mix of POW and POS, so your computing power will matter for the POW aspect, hence running all your nodes on one computer probably won’t be very efficient for mining.

I saw how the internet came through a village in West Africa from 2010 to 2012. It was awesome. Started with nothing, then one crappy internet cafe, then these cool dongles came along, and then smart phones started showing up. It ended up being a much more mobile internet than what is found in other regions. I can't wait to see how crypto makes its way through!

Does Smb knows, whether this team has experience?

I would say yes, the team has been acting as a blockchain consulting group supporting various projects, and I believed the experience they gain from these other projects (e.g coffeecoin) will only help ocl grow. Especially in terms on continuing to innovate how ocl holders gain value Wink

Hello,

I have multiple Android devices and am based in NYC. I have experience in testing mobile apps, hence the multiple Android devices, as well as experience using cryptocurrency-related applications.

Let me know how I can help.

Tax law firms will start completely new business units dedicated on how to properly account for collecting tax per country.
