Re: Best bounty platforms
by

I've not tried others but bountyhive is very good platform, bounty hunters care too much about payments, and in bountyhive payments are smooth and made in time .

Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion
by

If he has claimed that BCH is BTC, then that is news to me. Proof?

Are you being honest?  Roger has been claiming BCH is (the real) Bitcoin for about a year now.
I am even being more specific when he had bitcoin.com shilling out Bcash wallets and linking Bcash under Bitcoin and BTC under Bitcoin core and he stopped when groups were getting lawyers involved.

BCASH could only be better if Roger just let it free. Roger use it for himself, to be more influential but Satoshi gave BTC to us.

Re: Is this can be reported as Plagiarism
by

That is plagiarism, you can't use a whole of text even if you indicate the source, he or she does not even own a one sentence in the post, that's purely plagiarism.

''copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not (see our section on "fair use" rules)'' plagiarism.org

Yes, in a scientific world, it is considered as a plagiarism even if we did add the fully reference of the source. To make it as "not plagiarism" thing, one must make the work based on his own word even though he refer to other articles or news, and then you still must add the source.

I believe even in the internet world, it is still a plagiarism, and should lead to a punishment.

It's not plagiarism if you site your source, which he did.

the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

You're not really trying to pass the work off as your own if you provide the source, but in this case it wasn't done properly (or lazily).

That is pure plagiarism in academia but in this case I don't think it can be seen as a work since there is nothing belong to him in the post, he just share it, interpretation of plagiarism in the forum could be different I don't know but I wish he added at least some his own opinions regarding the article he shared.

Re: Which posts should be awarded with merits ?
by

on 12/09/2018, 20:55:21 UTC
I don't think we need such topics for merit, anyone should give merit to any post that is high quality, it does not matter whether you agree with that post, if it is high quality, you should give merit.

Re: How I Avoid Getting Affected By Cryptocurrency Price
by
swissgang
on 12/09/2018, 20:39:11 UTC
No way, if you do it, you can also be not affected by rise in cryptocurrency prices. If you can manage to hold tether in such market you can't affected by it.

Re: what is the best airdrop ever? the tokens and price awarded to participats
by

It does not matter much because there is no real value, you could earn few thousand of dollars but not because the project was really but because of the hype.

Re: Is airdrop a good idea before ICO?
by
swissgang
on 11/09/2018, 16:00:43 UTC
I think airdrop that are applied by most are not effective and nonsense because most tokens go to bounty hunters rather than those who believe in crypto and can hold it.

Re: Do you think ETH will be bounce back?
by

on 11/09/2018, 15:59:22 UTC
It will certainly bounce back but it may not happen this year as well, because I think it may go down to $150 in the following months before 2019, for hard bounce back it is still early.

Re: Is it still a good idea to participate in ICOs?
by
swissgang
on 28/08/2018, 14:15:34 UTC
You shouldn't, because you can't make profit with ICOs, if you just want to invest in some good projects you don't need new ones there are already lots of good projects like oax.

Re: Whale sends 18,000 BTC to Bitmex, what will happen?
by
swissgang
on 28/08/2018, 14:14:32 UTC
The whale is probably going to trade with 100X leverage and lose them all. Or maybe it's just Bitmex moving their money from a wallet to another.

I don't think such whale will lose it, seriously I know what is going to happen, he will make others lose their coins. He does not need to trade all as well.

Re: Soon we would not need banks
by

I think even if there is no bank, there will be centralized agencies that we still need to trust as now there is, but decentralized platforms such exchanges increase.

If people do so the price might not fall much in bear market but most people in crypto are weak hands, they sell immediately and want to be rich in the short term as well  Cheesy

Calculating the risk is not possible but clearly it is very risky investment but also you can make lots of profit by investing in crypto. Altcoins are much more risky compared to bitcoin.

For me there is no worst case scenerio for bitcoin I can think of, because it is very secure, decentralized etc. You can create this topic for tokens that will be better.

I agree with you, that's partly because of shit posters, but also generally same questions and answers are always given in different manners by different people.
