While we're talking about web wallet, how's the security of your bitcoin wallet?
Many online wallets are either not very secure or centralized (no private key for you), so i hope your wallet could be better

I think you should make your project become open source & put it on GitHub, so people could participate in development of your project Smiley

I'm definitely going to post all code, good idea. thanks Smiley
Currently the wallet is centralized: when a user makes an account, a JSON call is made to a local bitcoind running on a dedicated server that generates a receiving address which is submitted to an sql database to keep track of each user and their associated addresses.

I just visited the site, it's make me not interested Undecided sorry but your site is looks amateur, there are a lot bitcoin web wallet out there and they have a better interface and of course they trusted. sorry no offense, but you should improve a web interface, ect, ect.

That's totally understandable, thanks for the idea. I'll definitely have to work on the front end of the site. I'm a high school kid and I'm still learning about web development, so it might take a couple of days. I'm making this site more for fun than anything else.

By saying that, you just closed your business.

It's not intended to be a business, its just a site that I'm sharing. Not indented to make me any money.
you have to be careful what you bring here. even if you are honest but your site has bugs and people lose btc there, they will never forget, even come looking for you...

if you are just experimenting for fun etc. i suggest you put the code up and let people see how it works, if it is verifiable, and even they can help you fix any bugs or security weaknesses it might have that you may have missed.

the idea of the wallet sounds good, but something like it needs to be trusted for anyone to use it.

I agree, I will definitely post the code on GitHub. Thanks.

AnonWallet - Simple Anonymous Web Bitcoin Wallet

Hello,
https://www.anonwallet.cf is a simple web bitcoin wallet that does not require an email address and sends all bitcoin transactions over a tor proxy for anonymity. You can treat it like a burner/disposable phone, but for bitcoin. Make a new account/address for each "sketchy" transaction you want to do and send the bitcoin to that address first for a small layer of laundering or protection. Or you could use it as a normal wallet. Make as many wallets as you want, it's free and the addresses never expire. Feel free to let me know of any bugs you encounter with it. There will be more functionality added soon. Since it's a new site and there aren't any people using it yet, you are probably a little skeptical about it. I don't blame you. I can provide proofs of transactions made with it, or you can deposit a very small amount of BTC to try it for yourself. Deposits only require 1 confirmation before they can be withdrawn so it is very fast. The site, sql database, and bitcoind wallet are all hosted on separate dedicated servers which are backed up nightly. All private keys are securely backed up hourly. Don't hesitate to let me know any problems you have with the site or any features you would like to see it have. It's always going to be free, I just want to help people out that want some throwaway bitcoin addresses or whatever. If you are using it and have a serious problem, you can text me at 760-383-3862. Keep in mind, this site is still a beta. I just want to see what some people think first. I know there are a few other sites like this, I just want to provide a simple alternative option.

Thanks for your time,
Sam

can you guys make sure it doesnt have a virus?
also, is it cpu-only solo mining?

you can check for yourself, but we are 100% sure that it does not contain a virus. Many other people have downloaded the wallet and they have not reported any viruses either. If you mine right through the qt wallet, yeah its solo only. We will be putting a pool up soon to enable pooled mining, but if you or anyone else is inclined to make a pool as well that's definitely acceptable.

DEV,
You do know that today is the first of eight days of Passover.
Meaning, Jews do not eat bread or bagels for eight days.
Good time to launch bagel coin, fail.

I really hope no one is trying to eat the coins, even if they did somehow(maybe put wallet on a flash drive and eat that)  I doubt it would qualify as bread Wink

yeah you're right, and they most likely wouldn't taste too good either.
