Re: How do people gain profit when crypto is dropping?
by
tabas
on 13/07/2025, 23:51:05 UTC
To gain profits when crypto is dropping is very simple and common as well, i have two patterns in which we can use to determine for this.

1. You can be profitable as the market is falling and then you're taking advantage of buying the dip and investing, then you hold for the time being before it start to rise.

2. You can also be profitable when the market is falling by being a trader, whereby all you do is in taking short positions, but you must have seen it that the market is with all indication to be going down than rising.
And for both of this, in my experience. It's more profitable to become an investor in these times when the market is falling. The accumulation in the falling times is great because that gives the better stack when cheap price of Bitcoin is there. We don't see it at most times when the price aren't that much. This time, we're seeing all time highs and this is what most of the people like to buy, when the price are moving at the top and no idea when it's going to be in the peak. But when the price are dipping, they don't wanna do it because they're demotivated for the price is going down and they think that BTC is going down forever. It's an emotional battle per individual.

The layoffs have already started long time ago, and with AI, this is replacing the traditional workers and for these companies to save money. Like what Microsoft[1] did for its call centers, it's saved $500M because of the usage of AI but at the cost of many employees lost their jobs. It's sad that this has to happen and with one of the biggest companies in the world, we have to change and upgrade as well with skills irreplaceable by AI.
[1] Microsoft racks up over $500 million in AI savings while slashing jobs, Bloomberg News reports

If i'm being honest AI has become the perfect excuses for these companies to slash their spending on employee.
They don't slash jobs because the AI is good, they slash it because they've been waiting for the right time to do so and as it happens the AI narrative is very good for that and it won't spark rage because, well AI is the new revolutionary thing now and people consider it normal.
I think most of them did really slashed those jobs because of AI as it made them cost effective and more efficient. But it's also possible that many of them are what you've said that they're just using AI as an excuse to remove all of the employees that they have to remove. That's unfair and injustice if that's the case. Maybe, we'll see some cases in the future about laid off employees that have been unjustified with their labor benefits and why the company chose to do it.

‎a. Gambling with help of friends and associates who share codes and betting strategies, versus,
‎b. Gambling alone depending on pure wits, knowledge and personal developed strategies?
a. It is fun and it's easier but not at all times you'll get to be with our friends. I've been in a circle who have bet for some certain sports and shares some bets, they don't reveal the strategy but it's just like copy betting. If the bet we copy lose, everyone losses.
b. I think that I'm on this one. While I don't have any grudge on betting groups that I have been with because it's all fun and chat but I want to be alone and not that much with wits but there is no one to blame if I lose but myself only.

We're all in to support you at your own cause. If the others were able to do that, I think that you're also going to do that for yourselves as well. You're doing it not for the pleasure of the others but for the sake of yourself. If you've wanting to get out of gambling and the severe losses that you've made, I hope that you're not going to modify what you've done and so you can no longer access casinos. Just keep away from the temptations if ever they're going to tick you to gamble. It's going to be a hard battle for you but you can win that.

Re: BTC ATH: A road to $150k?
by
tabas
on 11/07/2025, 23:47:40 UTC
Bitcoin has finally reached its ATH once again, what next should be the question we should be asking ourselves? Is it a great direction to $150k or just another way to create FOMO and made some future guys get wipe out?
Many will be wiped out because they're trading against the market and they start to short with what they think on their thoughts of the market. But one step at a time, $120k any moment now, $130k, $140k and see $150k. This isn't a FOMO, this is just a confirmation that we're still in a bull run.

In all these high emotions, make sure you do a good research and keep checking news before jumping on a trade.  DYOR will always be great!!
Don't jump to trade, jump to accumulate more and DCA. It's kind of hard to adjust when Bitcoin is like this, don't think of going on trading for a moment and just think of having more BTCs.

Re: See No gambling Hear no gambling Talk No gambling for strict regulation?
by

Do you think seeing no gambling, hearing no gambling, and talking no gambling, not even a mention of a gambling site, will decrease addiction? Is it a good resolution?
We will never know because it could just increase the number of more gambling addicts that will violate the law and continue to gamble if it's already declared illegal. It's going to take a while before it will finally become a law and will force people to stop. It's not as easy as it seems but the condition of people who are already used to gambling will have some signs that they cannot help themselves and will still find a way to gamble.

Re: When can someone say they have won the casino?
by
tabas
on 10/07/2025, 23:16:37 UTC
They believed that if a gambler wins a jackpot, he or she have won the casino, could that be true?
It's no brainer, and that definitely makes him a winner against the casino. Unless that jackpot winner goes back and lets it lose again to the casino.

Some people can win a huge amount as jackpota but yet the amount that they won can not be compared to how much money they have lost in entire life while gambling, can you say such person has won the casino because they won a jackpot?

If you believe that sometimes, gamblers can also win the casino, kindly drop all the explanation of why you have such a believe.
Even if that's the case, if they tell themselves and proclaim it that they're winners. I will not cut the fun that they're having and experiencing at that moment. I'm no killjoy and will just allow them to enjoy that winning moment even if they're still not breakeven with their losses.

Re: Tom Lee Predicts $3M BTC — Hopium or Real Talk?
by
tabas
on 10/07/2025, 22:16:02 UTC
Why does everyone come out and give out some outlandish prediction as if it's bound to become reality.
That's simply because they're bullish in it and have decided to hold BTC for long term. It would be one of the best moments of every holder if BTC reaches $3M. But knowing that when, no one can say until it happens.

The people saying bitcoin to 100k on 2021 were right be it happened 4 years later? I don't think there's any value in such predictions because so many things would have to happen in between that it'd be sheer luck.
I remember that on 2021, most of us thought that it will make reach $100k but it happened on the next cycle. And maybe we're not yet running out of luck, the instis are in it and they could really drive the prices near to that but maybe a million but we have to see first $200k and so on.

So, if they're able to pay that amount higher than yours, they can also pay you with that amount but I don't know the entire story with your case.

What doesn't add up is that they can pay $7 million apparently but when i have only $1k locked away and account frozen they can't even send me an email. They don't reply to me on livechat, nothing. There is nothing i can do anywhere, they just won't talk to me. I do not even know why my account was frozen. Just radio silence. They even blocked me on telegram just for asking why my account was blocked. I was not spamming or anything, i just asked the question.

It's impossible to comprehend what the hell is going on without any sort of communication whatsoever. Very very frustrating to put it lightly.
Not just that case, but many of these cases were posted on the Scam Accusations . And they just want to get the attention of bc.game when they're in a situation like you. Maybe it will work for you if you also post there and holydarkness is very helpful in all of the cases that he can help with. There were tremendous cases that he's helped with and satisfied with the issues of their withdrawals and accounts that have been resolved.

Re: BTC Just Hit an ATH of $112K
by

Just another historic moment for BTC!
Yup, it has made another historic moment for Bitcoin. We've got a new ATH, and I was just checking it a while ago when it was $111k and then just after a couple of minutes, it's reached $112k. So, this will play from these prices and move $1k in a day or two or even more. We'll probably gonna see more ATHs before this year ends.
People speculating about bitcoin reaching $150k this year might not be so far off. I am pretty sure that there would be new ATHs in the later months of the year particularly October or December. Then who knows what is next after.
We've just got a new ATH again, $113,800. I won't be surprised if this continues to go on but I am sure many are taking their profits so that they won't have any regret of selling this time. It's their problem if that's the money that they've held for so long and can't blame them. But there's more to go for the upcoming months, $150k? it could be more than that if this is how it moves with its price.

Will the bear run happen or the super cycle everyone talks about?
Good question, no one knows but I'd love to see more of this super cycle.

It's not just BCpoker, but BCgame as well. They owe me $1.5m in unpaid winnings, we got them declared bankrupt by the court and they just ignored it.

Unfortunately for others, new folks here in BitcoinTalk are blinded by their advertising campaign (signatures/avatars etc) that they cannot see the fact that it is full blown scam operation.
I've seen the same situation as you and he's also posted here in the forum. It was posted on the scam accusations and later on bc.game has paid the guy with $7M in winnings and that's why if you've got a pending $1.5M winning, they have to clear that I guess before releasing. By the way, this was the guy and thread I was talking about: $7,000,000 @ BC.Game (2500+ ETH) [SOLVED LIKE A BOSS]
So, if they're able to pay that amount higher than yours, they can also pay you with that amount but I don't know the entire story with your case.

As usual BC.GAME always gives me a bonus code in the email but when the code is entered the code doesn't exist, even though the bonus is for fun but I am always interested in playing. I decided to contact the support, they were quite quick to respond because this was the first time I complained about the problem. Finally the support gave a new code to redeem.

So has anyone experienced the same thing? maybe you need to contact them too to get a new code.
I haven't experienced such but my experience with through the support is satisfying and quick. And so with the possible expired codes, it's good that they've provided new with a newer one that you can enjoy with. Because most of the codes that have been provided to me have worked and so, I don't have much to say about your experience. But now, if ever something happens if ever I get back and become active again with the bonus codes they provide, I'll just contact the support for quicker help.

Re: gambling in prison
by
tabas
on 09/07/2025, 20:47:10 UTC
have you ever been to prison? it is a tough life in there. no matter what you did or whether you were wrongly accused for something, prison is not for everyone. it is obviously lonely as you gets separated away from your family. it can get boring, not being able to do what you want.

but gambling, even tho is prohibited, is often what entertains most prisoners. there is no actual money in prison so they often exchange in other forms of currencies like food or smuggled items. even their way of gambling is smuggled. cards, dice and even information from the outside are all smuggled.

the reason why gambling is prohibited tho is because it might escalate into fights if someone for example loses and doesn't pay their debts

just shows how gambling will always exist anywhere
Depending on which prison you've been in. I've visited some prisons, and there's money where it's like a compound and a real market. There are merchants, workers and other sorts of typical thing that we see outside of it. But it's true, that inmates exchange goods if they have no money or they offer services for them to earn it. Gambling is one way there to earn money for them, this is for those desperate ones that don't have anything to sell but want to increase their money. For some, it's just a way to get entertained but many of them are serious with gambling inside not just to ease their boredom but also to target some multipliers and win money.

Re: The BTC drops is causing panics
by

Please what's causing these deflection of cryptos and markets.
You should have asked what's making Bitcoin reach ATH right now. Bitcoin reaches another all-time high, $111k.

Or should I remove the remaining balance?
If you've done this earlier, you have already missed the opportunity. This is why the market requires patience, a lot of patience. If you can't keep up with that attitude towards the market, this isn't for you. But if you're learning it day by day that it's okay to see it go down because it will recover later on, you're starting to improve yourself and accept that this market is for you.

Re: Be a good example — CEO takes his salary in bitcoin.
by
tabas
on 09/07/2025, 18:42:32 UTC
but are those CEOs actually using bitcoin in their lives or just accumulating for profit?
To be honest, it's not even a concern for us if they're using Bitcoin in their lives or they're for the profit. Who's not for the profit when they take BTC as salary or as an investment? Most of us do have this goal and the others won't even be worried whether we use it for real or not.

This type of people, those who take the step forward, will help bitcoin be adopted better. Soon, others might see the benefits of receiving your salary through bitcoin as Tashiro becomes a leading example.
They're doing an example for others to see that they're putting their money where their mouth is. And this is going to be a trend I guess in the next years to come. As they accumulate if ever the bear has come, they're doing the right thing. I'm not just sure about the taxation there but if it's said that it will include taxes, I wouldn't bother myself either.

Re: Proof that gambling may ruin any career when greed takes over
by
tabas
on 08/07/2025, 23:29:09 UTC
Straight forward answer this is not about gambling ruining his career.

This is a pour case of greed and for sure double dipping is a big offense, it means you cheating everyone at your own table, players are meant to stay off from such actions.

So let not blame this on gambling, but its on him all the way.
I agree with this analysis. It's about his actions because he's shown that he's a gambler. But it's not entirely gambling is the reason why he has ruined his career. If he's not greedy at all and became content with the money through is contracts, he won't have to deal with this bad fate of his career. It's understandable why everyone will have to come up and generalized the idea that it's because of gambling because it's the one that he's done and all of the bad views and thoughts will mostly come from everyone who's following this news and will blame gambling.

Re: [B]Understanding [BTC] with the help of alliances and others [newbie] level
by
tabas
on 08/07/2025, 22:19:52 UTC
First, the title doesn't recognize the codes [ b ] and the [ btc ] and that's why maybe you have thought that it will be somehow bold and will show the icon of BTC.

I was reading older trades of BTC and saw that when the price was going down 📉 at a certain level everyone knew that now it will pump. And what is noticable that there are long falls but eventually the prices stops falling at a certain time.
How to know that point does it have to do anything with technical stuff. Or its just because some big holders not selling . Today 24/7 hours trades are be made from every country  such big falls for such big interval of time  must be hard for holders to hold
Aside from technical factors, it's about the fundamentals that affects the market and that's why others have an idea whether it will fall or not. Also, experience. Staying in the market for quite a while will make you understand that everything that goes up, goes down and vice versa. So if you want to learn about technicals, it will take time and will require you back tests before you're able to understand them.
