✨ We are pleased to announce that an exciting new raffle is launching and we invite you to take part in it!

Good luck to all of the participants, it looks like I'm quite late on the last number and all of the numbers have been filled.

Those whale contests are very popular in this forum and in altcoinstalks.

I already missed many of them, even being quoted (as they use my tool to choose the winner). Slots get filled so fast!!
There should be a special additional slot for you as the tool owner if ever you miss a slot.  Tongue
I don't visit often it on the other forum but, I'll have to check it out from time to time so that I don't miss any of them from here and there.

I joined this time. Good luck everyone
GL!

I never try something this long with such high odds of 190
I like parlays and i like combinations with large odds, but i don't think i have made a parlay this long in a very long time.
Me too. Never had I won those kinds of odds with a parlay. I don't even remember if there's one point of my parlays that I've tried before to be successful.

Re: Bitcoin is moving from long-term holders into new addresses managed by ETFs
by

Whatsoever action this may be, i know that it cant be a threat to the market demand or supply, the price may fluctuate to an extent as always been volatile, but the end result will also be in favour of some buying or selling depending on how the market reacts, lastly, this does not also render the market to being centralized, we are not seeing it for the first time, that the whales are moving their asset after a long time into another wallet.
It creates more demand if it's coming from those ETFs, brokers, or whatever they're called. That's because the investors of the traditional assets who would like to dive into Bitcoin trust them more than holding and buying their own Bitcoin.

Those seeking instant profits may opt for ETFs, but on the other hand, many people still hold onto their Bitcoin for privacy reasons. I firmly believe in this approach because, as the one making the investment, I retain significant control over it.
Depends on how they plan with their retirements and other finances. They can always opt for ETFs but if they want to diversify, they have to keep Bitcoin for themselves. But we cannot force people into holding it if they don't like the actual and real thing.

How can one stay the safest while using Bitcoin?
I mean, do you use multisig wallets, hardware wallets, or something more advanced?
One best practice is to use wallets that are verified from the official websites if you're going to go with desktop wallets. But for me, I've been using hardware wallets and that had kept me safe for years. Also being a responsible user when you browse to the web is also giving you extra added security. Being aware of phishing and random links, you don't click them and even in the emails that we receive, if they're a typical spam scam, ignore and block them. A simple action but will save you a lot of headache.

What I believe is. If you have something you do, always invest back into it. Be it a skill, or business, instead of saving while struggling with it, invest back and you will start having more money than you used to.
It's a good strategy if we invest back into what we earn. Because someday, this investment either with skills or assets or business, they'll be the one that we'll use for enjoying and will save us a lot from troubles that will come to us when we're not able to work anymore. That is the reason why many are investing to themselves because they'd earn more from their skills. And also those who are investing in assets like Bitcoin, because they know that its value is going to increase in the future and that's why they're doing it and they have that reason why.

I hate it when I've firstly noticed that. I am not clicking anything and the page directly loads to the 'trending' page that consists of those unknown coins to me. We have no choice, we're just their visitors and target markets and can only hope that this will change soon. I think that they're just taking the advantage while the bull run is still on. Maybe once we transition to the next position of the market, they'll start removing this trending page. IIRC, there's already that 24-hour trending, winners and losers page before but this time, they're highlighting it and making it appear easier.

Re: Do casinos make more money when the price of Bitcoin drops?

Only them can prove with actual papers and records if they're profitable if the price of Bitcoin drops. I'm sure that they also have their own reserve and not only with BTC and stable coins but also, with the other coins that they support. In the perspective of being a gambler, we can speculate that they would do make more but whether it's a seasonal thing to them, there's always the place for these thoughts of ours of how much they make, if they're making a lot or if sometimes they're losing money.

I think this thread better go to the Scam Accusations. I've made similar threads that have been posted there as well. And as for Meta, they are not the same with google. They don't filter the ads that they approve and all they care is the money that have been paid for them to put those posts and ads into sponsored ads. And many of these scams have been existing in their platform.

Re: What Would It Take to Trigger the Next Bull Run? Realistic Catalysts for 2026”
by
tabas
on 04/09/2025, 15:09:44 UTC
How sure are we that the bullrun will extend to 2026, because we already had a long one since the beginning of this year down to where we are and we still expect more bullrun coming before the end of the year, how sure are we then that next year will not introduce us to another phase of the market instead of the continuation in bullrun, this is my thought and assumption anyways, we can see a change or have it the same way you have reasoned.
No one knows if that will happen but for every cycle, there's an ending to it. But if changes do happen by next year, we'll get to see it. The majority of us believes that there will be an ending for this bull run and that's likely by 2026. If that doesn't happen and there's a shift to the 4-year cycle, we'd know and see that.

While bear markets are inevitable since no market goes up in a straight line, but is there any guarantee that this 4-year cycle will repeat itself? It may or may not repeat, no one knows for sure.
You have a point that it might not repeat itself but with all of its history, it's always been accurate. But the next one, you're right. We will never know but it's very likely that it will.

Re: The roles of investors and entrepreneurs in building an economy.
by
tabas
on 04/09/2025, 09:51:45 UTC
Investors and entrepreneur have very strong correlation. Investors were funding entrepreneur to run a new business that can be benefit for them. However, many investors are also entrepreneur at the same time. These have very important roles in creating more job opportunity, and running the country's economy.

It's true their motive is to making profit from market, but these profits are also helping their eco to growth by adding more job opportunities that will trigger the GDP growth.
They contribute a lot to their economy. And with USA, having too many VC's, investors and entrepreneurs, they're being helped by each other and that also gives their economy a better run. That's why their government isn't also hesitating to invest on them because there's a big contribution that they're doing. That's why some countries are also giving golden visas to investors but that's going to cost them a lot of money that shall go to the economy of that country where they want to invest and have that benefit.

Re: How institutional investors crushed the dream of making it big in crypto
by
tabas
on 03/09/2025, 23:47:05 UTC
But institutions don’t like high volatility. That means crypto enthusiasts should forget about Bitcoin doubling in price after every halving.

People said this when Bitcoin was $10k. They swore it would no longer go double the price. Then it got to $69k, and since it didn't cross that for a while, the talk came again. People said it would never go higher than that, but here we are. Bitcoin has gone up to $123k.
Let's not forget that Bitcoin started last year with less than $44k.
Yeah, they've said that a lot of times, and we're tired of hearing it. We've got a lot of FUD by that time and it had affected a lot of holders I guess and became dependent to those FUDs that they've been hearing. But not many of us did.

Some time in 2023, it was in the $30k range, and here it is today, less than two years later, above $100k.
Actually, it was lower and the start of 2023 it was below that range. I think in the records around $16k-$17k so that's almost half of that price and what matters is still of how high it is right now. But the twist is, we don't know how much the ceiling will be because sky is the limit for Bitcoin's true potential price and growth.

- Ignore any Email related to update your Wallet
most of people lost their bitcoin by clicking malware links or phishing
I still receive this in my emails from time to time. And many of the newbies are those whom these scammers are targeting. The links that they give are unknown, and even the email domains that they use are suspicious. A knowledgeable user will avoid them, but sadly, there are new users who are not aware of it. They might give them a heart attack and will panic for them to click on those attached links if it says that they are hacked or there are some giveaways that they need to participate or some updates that needed to be done. Always verify the source, beginners but it's best to ignore and avoid them.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to mention that work on creating a token panel is ongoing! [https://whale.io/token]

The panel will include statistical data, and a personal account in which you can buy and sell coins, as well as engage in staking!

This is interesting, I can't wait to see how it goes once it's fully done and released. So whale users don't have to go outside of it when they want to convert and even stake.

The full list of August updates can be found here: https://telegra.ph/Release-note-292-09-01  Wink

Re: Bitcoin unable to fall below $107000
by
tabas
on 03/09/2025, 20:19:41 UTC
I think I've seen it reach $111k again and was about to hit $112k, but it was too short. So, with the corrections that we have, maybe this is the time for its recovery. It moves like this and it's a normal action after getting into a flash crash; it should recover a bit. But the question is if will it move back to $120kish price? I hope so, and that's what we want to see badly. While the pattern usually is being followed. At times, it's always hard to speculate on what will happen next because Bitcoin has been so unpredictable.
Yes, It's more than $111k right now and I think we might have bounce back already this month as we are over the ghost month of August which is very bad for Bitcoin market. So in any case the dust have settled down a bit and the whole crypto market has recovered already. There is no way but going up, so I will be positive that we might see $120k before the end of the year. And after that, it will be the biggest run in our history as the last three months should be huge for us as this will be the peak of the bull run. So just relax for a good ride this 2025 and again, I'm optimistic that it will be all good leading to December and a new all time high.
August doesn't seem really good as a month for the markets. And that's why if we're already after it, the market is showing recovery and that's a fact now. We've crossed $112k just today. And so, we still have a long way to go for this year before it ends. I'm still bullish until the end of the year and might change a bit when we early the Q1 of 2026 and things might have changed by that time and will show some sign of bearish as the 4-year cycle kicks in for the bears.

Five days ago, bitcoin was unable to fall below $107430. Four days ago, bitcoin did not fall below $107300. Two days ago, bitcoin support stayed at $107200.

Now it is showing like bitcoin price may increase and not fall less than $107000. What do yu think about this? Will bitcoin price increase or not?

Bitcoin price right now is $110400.

Please I have a question on something you just said, you said that if one is to quote what others have written, we should give reference to the source of our information.
It is normal to give the source of where you've taken the information, be it a website, from another member, or wherever it came from. It's called plagiarism, and it's against the forum rules and not just here, even in the real world plagiriasm is a big offense.

My question now is, will it be ok to use quotation marks, be it single or double quotation since that symbol is known to used while quoting something that someone else said?
As said by cryptopreneurbrainboss, you'll learn how to quote properly soon. But using double or single quotations they're also fine but you need to include always the link where you've taken your words.

It's going to be a code like this when you want to insert a quote/link.

Code:
[quote author=actual link]
[/quote]

Or simply pasting the reference to give credit to the actual source.

I fully agree with you.
If everyone understands that you are doing, then the right time is over. If everyone talks about an asset, then sell it.
The same thing was already as said on 2017 and 2021 bull run. Everyone is talking of how Bitcoin is a good asset. And this time, nothing is different and we're all talking about it as the same. While some good choice comes out to those who are in profit but, it could do less for the ones who has invested in. It can be a motivation or discouragement to whoever reads and listens to that. Nonetheless, we all believe that in the long term Bitcoin is going to be of greater value and more valuable asset in the global stage.

So to you all, when is actually the timing limit for long term investment plans when invest on bitcoin?
What if there is really no exit at all? and when the time that you're about to sell, is only the time that you are in need. And that's why if you have plans of investing long term, it sticks with you while you're living. Only the time of selling is when you think you have to slash some money out of it and all you have to do is to wait every time. If there is some instances that you can add up, you'll have to add up for your sake.

So how do the kidnappers know about the Bitcoin holdings? Definitely one or a couple of friends involved with that kidnapping. Moral of the story: don't share with anyone about your capital. Don't trust anyone around you; protect your privacy strongly. So you will not face such a situation in the future. This isn't just a story; it's real and a lesson for the whole crypto community.
This is another Bitcoin-crime related incident. And this is also the reason why I am no longer confident of telling it to people on how I'm able to buy the good stuff that I have right now.

I am still holding but when someone asks me how much I've got and if I am still holding, I refuse to answer that and sometimes a white lie to divert their question.

Because it is no longer comfortable when someone asks me that topic and, I'm the one who's avoiding it already when I just can't take it anymore where these news of Bitcoin crime related incidents happen.
