"fuck i missed the doge train... so i better make ANOTHER rippoff so i can profit from every dumb fuck around here"
isnt that what you were thinkin?
WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE MINING THIS!?!?
I can't speak for Mr. "Dev" but I'm pretty sure he was thinking: "I love corgis and I love crypto coins, so why not make a good, solid coin that combines the two?"
another noob question (Thanks so much everyone for helping me out! Feel free to put your corgi wallet so i can donate some coins)
When it comes to pools, what "stats" should I focus on? Does it not matter or can I get more "shares" from a smaller pool?
Thanks again everyone, this community is awesome!
Right now it doesn't really matter at all, but in general:
Bigger pools (with tons of workers) will find blocks faster but you'll have to share those blocks with [thousands of] other workers. Tiny pools with less workers won't find blocks nearly as fast, but if/when they find one, you get more of a reward because you don't have to share it with as many people.
So personally I think it's best to find a sweet spot in between... one with a high hash rate but low-ish number of miners. But again there are only like 3-4 pools right now so pick whichever you want!
I got into the cryptocurrency stuff with the DogeCoin, and recently my pal Dustin asked me to help with UI/UX on CorgiCoin. Happy to be part of this exciting cryptostuff!
