Re: (E)t)h)e)x).bet Signature Campaign 0,024 BTC / month [FULL]

Nothing like this. I just got criticized that I have missed someone when i picked some members i liked more then others and then said that campaign is full to others. After that, I decided to answer everyone.

you will be criticized no matter what you do, specially when you are a campaign manager and have to reject some people since the campaign doesn't have unlimited slots. so it is best to just go with it and not let it affect your attitude.

Re: Any promising STO that you know of?
by
talkbitcoin
on 26/05/2019, 10:24:39 UTC
STOs can't be promising, the are riskier than ICOs because both of them are the same thing while this new ones are the continuation of the same thing that has been going on for a while so it can attract less investors. on top of that, with ICOs you could never know when you could dump so the dumping happened slower and you had time to get out. but with STO you know it is already listed somewhere and the dump is going to be big and fast without giving you any time to cash out.

If you are looking for a short time like 1-3 months i can't say anything. It can go both ways.

this first part is no longer true because we are no linger in the side-way period when it wasn't clear whether price is going up or down. we have entered the bull market a while ago and have been on a constant rise ever since and the speed of this rise is only increasing.

Since when has Bitcoin gone up in one straight line? There has always been a major correction that lasted for about a couple of weeks at least. Right now we only had wicks to the downside, which I don't consider a correction.

but those things only happen whenever we are already on the rise for a while not just getting started to rise. right now we are mostly in a "recovery" and if every recovery had a correction then price would have never went up!

Ps. Also remember to spend at least 20% of all the coins you buy, to feed the merchant network and use case for Bitcoin, or it will die as a currency.

i have always been doing that specially as the number of merchants have been growing and i could find more and more products that i wanted to buy with bitcoin.
but the problem is the fees, they are starting to rise up again and i don't like paying a hefty fee to purchase things and also the number of merchants could start shrinking if it keeps up.

Re: Will BTC hit $11,500 in June 2019?
by
talkbitcoin
on 26/05/2019, 09:11:34 UTC
with the current momentum that bitcoin has, reaching a price above $10k in a month from now is a very easy thing because you have to consider the size of this rise which is only a small 25% rise from the current price whereas we have already had a much bigger 170% rise this year mainly in the past 2 months and it is still not yet a full blown bull market.

Re: Is BItcoins supply infinite??
by
talkbitcoin
on 26/05/2019, 08:59:31 UTC
if you have 3 apples but you can't eat them because you have no teeth, that doesn't mean you have infinite supply of apples.

the important thing about bitcoin is that it has a cap and that cap means you can't ever have as much as you want or print as much as you want like you do with fiat (paper money).

additionally since you are comparing it with ethereum (although ETH is indeed unlimited), the distribution is important. for example compare the supply of bitcoin and ethereum. bitcoin is at 17 mil but ethereum is above 100 million.

same with gold, it is limited but you can't suddenly extract a million ton gold overnight. it takes time to find new supply and enter it in circulation.
for cryptocurrencies a good cap and a good distribution design with ensure the supply is produced and distributed properly and helps with the price rise but a bad design and no cap will end up like no cap coins that keep losing value.

not liking him is not a personal opinion, it is about the fact that he is a scammer and nobody likes scammers specially those who steal other people's identity and abuse it for their own personal gains by fooling people like OP...
these people and all those who support them should be behind bars because they are robbing people in broad daylight.

in a decentralized world the users themselves must fight the scammers instead of relying on third parties and other people to fight their fights. otherwise there is no point in having this market as decentralized and we might as well go trade stocks with centralized brokers.
besides, when you add centralization into a decentralized world each time without fault we end up with corruption.

by
talkbitcoin

if you ever looked at any altcoin you would notice that 3-4% rises in altcoin market are considered huge losses because other altcoins are getting pumped at least 100% to 1000% in one day and in this market the good traders keep their money in the move to make the most out of the pumps.

it seems like some people here have forgotten that they were saying basically the same thing about bitcoin price not so long ago when it was below $4k and they were "expecting more drops" just because price wasn't shooting up every day breaking new resistances!

It's confirm CSW is one of the govt officer, he could be part of the CIA, and he was given the order to ridiculous bitcoin so that it would be easier for the U.S. govt to control the entire market.

haha, you are going too far with the conspiracy theories. CSW is just a scammer who is playing the system to scam people and make money. for example the events of past couple of days were orchestrated to pump his shitcoin (BSV) up.

you can't call something "bitcoin rival" and then keep contradicting what you said in almost every sentence!

... payment system that Facebook is planning to ...
so it is created by a company and is controlled by a company! similar to PayPal! so it is centralized and so it can not even be compared with bitcoin!

Quote
(well maybe except China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and nations USA is not doing business with)
in other words it is censorable and not global while bitcoin is censorship resistant and global!

Quote
... with regulatory matters ...
another sign of centralization...

Quote
... people are getting excited
who exactly are these "people"?

Quote
There are objecting that what Facebook is getting into is not decentralized and hence can not even be called as genuine cryptocurrency akin to what we see in Bitcoin, Ethereum and the rest of the gang.
cryptocurrency is a currency that is based on cryptography, it doesn't have to be decentralized. but when a cryptocurrency is centralized you can no longer compare it with bitcoin.
by the way Ethereum is also centralized not as much as a company coin like Facebook coin but still centralized.

Quote
Mark Zuckerberg not just the emperor of the social media but also the king of cryptocurrency?
they are entering a very hyped up market and with their advertising team and their company's popularity they will make a ton of money for sure but they are not entering the cryptocurrency world as we know it, they are just using the opportunity to make millions.

Quote
will Globalcoin one day be a rival to that of Bitcoin?
i repeat myself but centralized coins can never compete with bitcoin.

Any response from the above queries?

Nope and I doubt they will ever be.
The user has been last active only 10 minutes after posting this, so for a user searching for feedback, it makes no sense.
For somebody trolling, unfortunately, it does.

Anyhow, the whole project is simply phantasmagoric with those promises.

it makes some sense.
everyone thinks their idea is unique and should worth a lot but only a handful of them are correct about their thinking. in this case OP might have wanted to protect his "intellectual property" by posting from a throwaway account but the idea itself is pretty bad.

by
talkbitcoin
on 23/05/2019, 06:02:02 UTC
haha, obviously OP is just an altcoin bag holder who is wishing for more profit Cheesy

there is only two cases where you use cryptocurrencies:
1. investment.
in which case there is no way anybody in his right mind to give up bitcoin for altcoins since we all can see the potential of bitcoin and how it is the only thing that moves in long term while others continue to drop.
not to mention that investors don't care about fees!

2. currency.
in which case if you wanted to spend bitcoin, the places you want to spend doesn't accept altcoins so even if you switch to altcoins they still don't accept it and you had fooled yourself and lost a lot of money for that conversion.
