Hi,

I was looking for any interesting slack/discord channels for investing in altcoins? I saw one mentioned for altcoin investing a couple of days but can't find the URL. Just looking for ones that are active and discuss investing in interesting coins.

Thanks

China was largely responsible for the increase, and china's largely responsible for the drop. I used to try trading chinese financial news, it's tough because you never know what curveball the governments going to come out with.

Best immoral way is to hack existing wallets / exchanges, which has been done before.

Probably the same rules as Apple holding its profits offshore - when you change it back into your local currency, you pay tax on it.

When I was younger I made a couple - I trusted people who claimed to have good intentions, when they did not.
I hired other people to build a product for me and they were rubbish. So I learned not to trust so easily and to hedge against risk when working withh people, and I learned how to build products (software) from start to finish myself.

My plan is to continue working on my businesses, save money, do the things I want to do with that money, and use it to build more businesses.

I buy because a lot of sellers like to be paid in btc as it's non-reversible unlike PP, and your accounts don't get banned. Just a lot more freedom with it.

Re: Best way for steady income

One thing people often forget is that not everyone supposed to be Steve jobs and become a single person power in the world or not everyone supposed to invent or code and create something and become successful in over night.
Many of us forget to realize that maybe we should just help and take part in successful projects and businesses instead of creating them, maybe that way we could focus on what is more important than making just money.

That's actually very true. Setting your expectations too high means you'll always be dissapointed. There's nothing wrong with a steady life doing ok but not amazing. One thing a lot of people forget is that we have limited time - one day it'll be gone. Enjoy it with those you care about.

Do 50/50 lol. Gold is a lot safer, but won't grow that much unless markets tank. BTC, who knows, it could grow, but it could crash. It's already quite high priced.

I'm trying to build my side business to stabiliy. It's making a fair amount, what I want to do is get it stable and then get a 9-5 job. That'd be my ideal situation in life.

CNBC, Telegraph and BBC are good because they're easy to use and brief. Some sites like bloomberg are lag heavy and sometimes information heavy. FT is also very good but expensive.

Investing smartly. Tbh the best way is to split your money, say 30% in something very safe, 30% in something moderately safe, and say 30% on something reasonably risky.

Built it in 2007, stupid thing doesn't run anymore though keeps getting Windows errors despite numerous tries to fix it. Too cheap to buy a new one, so roll with my 2010 macbook solely now.
