Re: Would you invest in this ICO?

[1] Coin developed with 100% new source code
[2] Hoping to raise 20 to 25 BTC to fund development
[3] We will release the client at the same time as the ICO starts (and maybe a web wallet)
[4] We will launch a trading platform before the year ends.
1. I will be confirming it until the pre Ann has launched.

2. Why you just put a little threshold for your ico?

3. I will also confirm it at the ICO will be starting.

4. So, is this the purpose of your ico? for building a new trading platform?  It quite no sense, Are you looking for the fund for building it?  Roll Eyes

Hey thanks for the offer, I will contact you when it is ready.

I put a little threshold of 25 because the funds are only to speed things up and mantain it. The coin is already developed and we just need to develop a GUI client and other services like the trading platform.
I didn't think the little treshold would look suspicious, on the contrary I thought it would look good and humble. I might remove it then.

- You need to provide full real detail about team member behind this project.
- You need to use escrow in middle to handle fund of ICO.
- Also don't forget to conduct full security audit of your wallet/chain before releasing it.

As you have claimed it is completely new source code but i doubt that 20-25 bitcoin will be enough development fund to develop something from scratch.

The coin is already developed that's why I said it will be released at the same time as the ICO begins. The ICO is just to speed things up, like many other coins I could mantain it for free.  Smiley

Bitcoin said to be pseudo-anonymous cause it can only be if you know how to mantain your anonymity while using it. Generating a bitcoin wallet from places where they ask you to send a government id is not a great idead if you want to remain anonymous.

Well the Blockchain technology helped solve a computer science problem called "The Byzantine Generals' Problem" so I would say the hype is real.

The safest wallet would be for you to remember all the characters of the private key of your address and then destroy both the public and private keys.

Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax
by

As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.

That's a nice theory. I never though about that, but it can only work if people earn in bitcoin and pay in bitcoin and we are not quite there yet. As a libertarian this picture looks great. I hope we get there some day.

You probably did not add fees to the transaction and it will take a while to go through. You could double spend the coins to cancel the transaction and retry it but this time including the fees.

i have a basic on it but how do i set it up and how do i turn it in to paypal!
Don't exchange your bitcoin for paypal money if you do not trust the person/company because they can easily chargeback you and you will end up without bitcoin and without paypal money. Paypal most likely will not side with you in this kind of situations involving bitcoin.

Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast
by
tardi
on 15/12/2016, 06:33:17 UTC
is it possible that bitcoin will be accepted in local stores, shops etc. since transactions are to slow and customers have to wait until their transactions are verified. And nobody wants to wait.
Can transactions be seeded up to save customers time or any other way to use bitcoin  at local stores.

Bitcoin transactions a quite slow for today standards but with the use of third party tools or services it shouldn't be a problem.
