Why don't we set-up a donation address as soon as the coin is launched. The address will be public and people will donate for the bounties and development. This way we'll have transparency and the dev team will have some stimulus to deliver and the community will be grateful for their efforts and donate. No premine, donations only.

A few pages back he DID say that he dumped the premine. I guess this coin is going nowhere from now on. Too bad it just proved to be another scam, with that dickhead CallMeAxis stating: I don't want to create hype, I don't want this coin to be this and that. Oh well, a nice cold glass of water and move on

Minerals dev please update the pools page on minerals.pro website and put the multipool only since the other pools are irrelevant. Add bleutrade to the exchange section too.

I was gonna suggest a multipool vote with a Yes/No option since we are almost at the end of PoW and we need to figure out is multipool good for the coin or not. So if you guys are OK then we might do the poll for the remaining 6-8 hours and then we'll see.

So is the multipool gonna launch? And if it does will the network hashrate be transferred to it, or we'll just have to point the miners to it? Or we should look for something else to dig after a few hours?

I suggest to release wallet to first 10-20 TRUSTWORTHY members that PMed you Minerals. This I think is enough to show you are a man of your word and we have a working wallet in some respected forum members. The public release I suggest you do around the 20000th block.

Having multiple accounts in different pools should not be an issue. Even dev is suggesting we do that as a failover option. Personally I have tried to mine with one worker but the difficulty gets too high and I get a lot of rejects. So I spread out my rigs on 3 different pools even though some of them are far away and still get a higher reject percentage but its far less than what it was.
At first when I had the workers pointed to one pool I had less than 0.6% rejects. Then when I joined them under one worker the rejects jumped to over 8%. Now I have about 0.8% rejects (and I had to lower intensity to achieve that) on average due to the higher latency. So I guess multiple accounts could be an advantage even to people whose main idea is not to cheat the system.

I don't think there's anything do be done. As already stated:
1. Users can get tons of disposable e-mails for new accounts
2. Proxies exist for registering new accounts and avoiding the last-login-from check which could be used in some cases
3. Rigs can be rented so they are assigned to one account only
Steps 1-3 could be performed countless number of times, and there's nothing we can do to avoid that. Hey as they said Internet provides countless possibilities

Miners might create more than one account on more than one pool. I don't know if that is being monitored by Minerals and do those people's hashrate is being summed up to see if they are abusing the system. And this might go way beyond 300mh/s...

How do you check the number of users?
You have to log into all 6 pools and see the statistics for the last block payout and see how many pages in 10s of users are there.
That's what I did when the 50mh/s limit per account was enforced and I saw on one pool the number of users jump gradually from 26-27 pages to 33-34 pages, meaning that we had on a single pool a 25% increase in users as soon as that limit was enforced.
So I guess if you take out statistics from the 6 pools which consist of current pool hashrate - current user count, then we might have some more info on this strange behavior.

My idea about multipool was that we need to support the coin after PoW phase ends and generate people's interest more and more then. Right now the people mining the coin are supporters only. I personally do not like the idea that some douche with 4GH will mine the multipool, then will buy minerals (which is good, don't get me wrong), the price of minerals will go up, which will lead to more people to jump on the most profitable coin right now which is MIN. They will mine the coin while it is profitable, the hashrate will increase and supporters will get less and less coins while dumpers will get their share and then dump the coin on the market decreasing its value once again right after the multipool has risen it.
That's why I don't see any reason to have a multipool right now when we have the PoW running and only the true believers mining it to attract dumpers. In 3 days when the PoW ends and the multipool starts, then the price will be regulated by supply and demand and not by mine and dump scheme.

The reason we were pushing for it now is because some people were saying that it is not profitable to mine. With difficulty well under 100 it is more than profitable to mine even if you do not get the value in BTC than you would with some brand spankin' new shitcoin. The mere fact that you brought multipool (even with basic functionality - two coins, one algo) is admirable enough and speaks for your actions and your commitment to this coin and the community. I've seen coins where months pass by and people are still talking are we having or are we not a freaking multipool when the coin is already in coma.
So having the pool ready is just great and I guess when it kicks in after PoW we will acquire more interest (especially the big exchange + multipool combo)
