Has anyone been able to withdraw any CLAM from Yobit? I converted all to BTC and was getting ready to move to Polo, but now I am stuck trying to verify my Polo account. If CLAM withdraw is now active, I would consider converting back to CLAM and withdraw CLAM...
Well the situation has been like that for quite some time now. I don't see any indications why yobit would enable CLAM withdrawal, when they had the pssobility to do that all along. I don't know about BTC withdrawal fees at the moment, so you should check if BCH or DOGE would be a better option.

Yeah, sorry, I meant I converted all to BTC then to DOGE. But now that Polo keeps denying my verification, I'm looking for other alternatives... Cryptopia and Bluetrade have too low volumes...

Bleutrade was used from a guy on reddit as I was routing the only exchange that can easily shift your clams to the clamclient. As I posted many times.

Unfortunately post of that from reddit was deleted!?!

Thanks. I'm going to try Cryptopia. They have less trading volume than Yoshit, but at least I haven't had any major problems with them related to withdrawals... It's probably going to take a while to buy back some CLAMs and send to my staking wallet, because of Cryptopia low volume... But at least it's higher volume than Bluetrade...

Dude you must be whale of the clams Wink

Poloniex and Bittrex are the best.

Bittrex is my prefered because the 100BTC withdraw daily limit, but they charge .2 CLAM for withdraw which kinda kills me inside to pay.

+1 for Bittrex.

How much is semux currently going for otc? sorry i have checked in about 2 months.

Visit discord. Currently running between 20-30k sats.

price is quite stable at this level
The price is good most trade happen at 23k sat range if you want to sell your semux faster go below 20k sat, bigger price can be ask if your selling a big amount of semux.

Thanks for the answers. Am not looking to sell, rather was going to increase my bag. unfortunately, i don't use discord. thanks anyway.

Just a quick note, if you are going to hodl, I hope you are putting it to good use by voting on one or some of the validator pools.  You'll get additional Sem while hodling.

Oh yeah, i been doing that for awhile. Am actually contemplating creating my own pool and charge 3-5%. This pools with their high fees is quite irritating, i understand that it takes time to distribute the earning to pool members, but it shouldn't cost 8%, or even as high as 25%. That's just greedy. plain and simple.

You can create your own pool, but take note you have to be in the top 100 to be a validator and receive SEM payouts.  I think you'll need about 33k votes to make the cut (the official info should be in your wallet).

If you do decide on creating your own pool, getting into the Semux channel in discord will help a lot, since the channel is quite active and the large stakeholders are there too. Don't worry, setting up discord is easy...it can be browser based or app based, so you have a variety of options. Good luck!

Just curious, why do you want to limit yourself to under $1?  As in all other things, it is not the quantity but the quality that matters.  For me, I would prefer asking for undervalued coins with great potential.  That may be a safer bet in terms of future proofing your growth.  Just my 2cents.

Personally, I would say LTC and STEEM.  LTC for new features rolling out this year. And STEEM for a revolutionary effort in content-creation.

Litecoin hasn't uniqueness

It s just a advanced copy of bitcoin

I haven't it

And as an "advanced copy", it solves a few issues that Bitcoin is currently facing.

btc is going dow and ltc price also but ltc coin really doing good with btc/ltc pair
ltc coin price is progressing in btc price. its great
btc price is affecting on all the coin but not much
price is increasing in btc
and when btc price pump up the ltc price will also blow up and will cross its all time high

good point... for short term yes... but after 26-27 we can see more clear picture... this pair price because
LTC pump or LTC eat some value from BTC for middle\long period Roll Eyes

Frankly, I don't think the market sees the potential of LitePay yet.  With LitePay scheduled for release tomorrow, the price of LTC has not really moved remarkably.  It all boils down to adoption.  If we can see mass adoption, then I think there is a chance LTC can move higher independent of BTC.

Is there any new things going on here?
Honestly speaking I cannot see what is reason for that coin. From trading view looks it is dead. Good thing is support poloniex and bittrex. but volumes are not huge, not sure how long it will stay on exchanges

Look at the RDD and VERGE volumes/price on Biitrex 2 years ago, you'll be surprised. And RDD was delisted from Poloniex, that seemed the end for RDD, and look now.

I think for now, I still see some value in Clam with Just-Dice. And I believe a new release on the clam wallet is in the works.  Much of the details of the new release, features and all, I have not really gotten a chance to research.  Perhaps someone here can add, or if you want, you can always go to the clam channel in IRC and check with the people there.  Hope this helps!

we are only at the beginning we will see with time if this system will manage to raise the quality of posts and reduce spam

Yeah, sure. That's why legendary are sending each other merits, not sharing with anyone else.

In the meantime don't hold your breath. You won't be ranking up any time soon and neither will I.

Uhh... I think I should be offended.

My rank is legendary, and I've tried to distribute what sMerit I get to posts by newer members that strike me as interesting, constructive, or at least well thought out.

Mind you, the system is new and it's NOT habitual to me yet, but I have made the effort. And it appears to me that I am not alone in this.

Bitching by itself will not get you merit, that I can almost guarantee. Bitching with a point, or sharp wit, very well might Cheesy

Love your reply. It's good you have such a mindset and I honestly wish all big sMerit holders can have the same attitude as you.  It will give this system a hope of achieving what it truly sets out to achieve.

Frankly, I think this system will indeed "raise quality of post and reduce spam", in a good sense (it will not eliminate spam however). I think what genuine people (myself included) are concerned about is the side effect that it will also reduce the number of genuine people ranking up.  Because as I have said previously, this system is a very subjective system.  The very definition of "quality of post" will differ from one person to another.  The level of generosity will differ, as well as the awareness level of each person.  As you pointed out, it's not habitual to you yet; I'm sure this is also the same case for a lot others out there. And outside of a few threads similar to this, I'm not sure if there are equal ratio of sMerits being distributed per post on all the other threads.  (Perhaps there's an analysis already done that I'm not aware of?)

I guess what genuine members are simply hoping is how to get themselves recognized and achieve the ranking that they deserve without being unjustly hit by the system.  That's why there are gripes and rants on this thread.

Following my last post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159012.msg29724361#msg29724361) where i tried to check multiple pools and when and how they are paying i continue with this week testing:

Some observations:
  • all values are approximate; day1 was in fact half a day, that's the day i voted, so it's not so important;
  • this is somehow irrelevant because daily pay is correlated with how many blocks that particular pool forged in that day; this is only for testing of pools. plus if a pool has too many votes the payout will be smaller, so try to spread your votes as much as possible;
  • even though all animals pool (from alligator to lobster) (https://semux.info/pool) is the most professional with everyday pay and a great website, they have a very big fee so i will remove all my 650 votes;
  • last week i tested generals (general01-04) pools they never paid me until this week in the middle of the week (0.36 once, for 100 votes last week). i found their website (http://semuxpool.info/) and minimum payout is 0.5. i won't vote for them anyway, too big fee 18%;
  • i wil remove all my votes from pools with more than 8% fee. i think that is too much and i won't help them. i'm still waiting for pools with 1-2%, that's a standard in cryptocurrencies pools. Animals fee of 25 is way too high;
  • you can check user levyashin post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159012.msg29319963#msg29319963) he is keeping a great list of pools and fees. Or go to official discord (https://discordapp.com/invite/qQVckKZ) and there's a channel #pools if any questions;
  • semux has 2 very good block explorers https://semux.info/explorer and http://semuxchain.info/;
  • if anyone can make me a good offer for 1300 votes PM me Smiley (VOTES only, i'm not selling).

Great writeup.  So to maximize returns,  a  pool with 2 to 5 % fee   &  balancing votes at regular interval, is way to go.

Does this mean on an apples-to-apples comparison of 50 votes, semuxpool_com2 is the best?

Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0

why is everyone saying that this is the year of doge when i cant find any positive news on doge anywhere.please help me ,i have 800000 doge,and im losing hope.give me some news or sites i can do research on

I believe "year of the doge" is only for the reason that 2018 on the Lunar zodiac happens to be the year of the dog.  So that's where the correlation is coming from. As for development, I think there's someone working on the next version of the client software.  Don't see much other dev work being done.

However, doge remains a relatively stable coin with a number of followers, so I don't think it will disappear anytime soon.  I am not sure why you said you are losing hope, but hodling it is quite fine.  It also depends on what price you got it.  In any case, if you need the money and want to offload some of your coins, you can try to time the market and offload bit by bit when price surges.  It has dipped a few days before but has recovered a bit recently.

All the best.

Phash has lowest 2.5 % fee  & pay 12 PM UST  Every Day.  Great job Phash  Smiley

Not the lowest. There are others with lower fees on the list above. Like 100_tokenpar_com is only 0.5% fee.

But yes, Phash has one of the lowest.

Hmm, didn't knew that you guys are having to wait for so long to get your accounts activated. Surely not an ideal situation. 2-3 months ago, this waiting period was about 1-7 days, and now 1 month! Surprising! I thought the conditions would get better, but they have worsened. Between, one of the reasons that there is so much delay in account approvals is because Steemit has to pay for every account creation and obviously this slows down things. Probably this issue will be addressed in the next update, called "velocity". Although, I think one solution to this could have been if the users were allowed to pay for their account creation during signup. Would have helped a lot.

Pay for every account creation? What do you mean?

Heyy everyone..
I would like to ask some of you for your opinion on litepay.
As this weekend or this month that is going to launch.
What would be the least price expectations??
As it is a very big achievement and i expect a good price jump.
Any guesses ??

My guess is that there will be many price predictions. Some conservative, some ultra bullish and ultra bearish also.

And there is a high probability you'll act on the wrong one.

Personally I'm long term (years) conservatively bullish, short term I have absolutely no idea.

LTC in my opinion is here to stay. Before middle of 2017 it was actually thought of as shadow of bitcoin, some kind of  silver opposite to bitcoin's gold. Now I won't be in wonder if they  become equal partners, a traction to all crypto.

Well, from chat groups and other ones I get to read, the leaders of the pack today are still bitcoin and ethereum.

It will be good if LTC can rise up to be at par with BTC, but in my opinion there's a long way to go.  I'm also conservatively bullish, but I won't say it has all the formula needed now to join the leaders of the pack just yet.  The demand has to be there, and the only way to get this is to create the value for people to want to get Litecoin.  Litepay will be a step in the right direction for sure.

I would like to ask how long should I wait before my account will be approved? It's been a month but still no notice from their reply.

It takes a long time but certainly not a month. If you have verified your email and phone and still not approved, then you can ask for help in this official Steemit channel: https://steemit.chat/channel/help They usually approve it in 1-2 days.

I wish it would work as you said. I have personally applied on 13th of January and I am still waiting for my account to be confirmed. Because there is no email address where you can reach out to their support I ended up in that steemit.chat, where I got in touch with some guy who gave me to fill another form with some details (what account name I wanted to register, date and my email) - I have checked this guy seems to be involved into community and doesn't sound like a scam for me, his name is drakos (others told me to contact this dude as well). On that 2nd form I filled in it states wait 2 weeks - 2 weeks passed today and still I don't have my account approved. And yes I tried to speak multiple times on steem.chat with other members and they tell me to wait. Bad side of steemit is that you are required to have an account there to be able to use platform, I get it they might get spam by simply enabling usual priv+pub keys only, but anyway it doesn't stop anyone to simply open multiple accounts if they have money.

I guess it is better to buy steemit account via blocktrades which costs around 20$ at current rate if you are in a hurry to use steem platform. I am just hoping my account will be approved this week, if not I'll have to spam multiple times per day on steem.chat it seems and I ma not even sure if that will get me approved. But in the end I might end up with blocktrades (tho now when btc price went down it costs more to open account at btc and other crypto rate), better they say registration is closed or we don't have enough steem power to delegate or something than saying wait a week for the 1st time.

So I do believe this guy who says he is waiting over a month. Because this is exact situation for me.

I'm curious if this is the same experience for everyone.  Have there been any signups lately that got approved and how long did it take them?

If this is happening to everyone, this is not good for STEEM.  But if only a select group are getting this treatment, perhaps a short message to inform them that their signups was not approved may be good.

I get it that perhaps the Steemit team wants to limit scammers, perhaps some efficient method to do this can be developed.
