Litecoin is a nice long term investment. 60% gain in 6 months is not bad.
Agreed with you, there has been consistent but slow growth in he value of the Litecoins. It is one of altcoin to for the long term investment as I believe the value of the ltc will be increased in the upcoming months as well.
I am not sure about that. The price difference between litecoin and bitcoin is getting larger in the last several years.
Well i think everyone is switching to BTC before halving. LTC diff hasn't moved for a year (since last halving) and is still oversold by chinese miners.
LTC @006 is a bargain because it's the second most resilient crypto currency in the world and it will follow bitcoins development always (same source code except for poW algorithm)
The interface is a bit clunky and not that intuitive. Also when all the volume is already on Polo, you don't have a lot of reasons to use other exchanges. For example I may only use Bittrex for trading coins that are not available on Polo.

History will not look back kindly at digitalcoin if the dev arbitrarily decides to reduce the block reward to increase scarcity and please investors.
I completely agree. It's already happening with WDC.
I'll be really disappointed if DGC follows suit.

The reason for doing it would be the unexpected arrival of profit switching miners and pools. This change means a large portion of the alt coin hash power are uninvolved profit seekers. When deciding on the current rate, that was not taken into consideration. These miners do not hold like regular miners do and so are having a disproportionately negative effect on the currency.
Also, I will never make an arbitrary decision over matters that affect others in the community. Voting is the common mechanism.
IMO, cutting reward by half (50%) is dangerous.
If DGC mining doesn't get profitable, lots of miners will fallback on another alt coin.
This could lead to panic selling on the currency, that will lead to even less profitability. And so on...
I think DGC (with current reward ans stales ajustment) is just as profitable as LTC (i switch my miners regularly between both currencies)
If you cut mining rewards by half, i dunno if i would continue mining DGC (even if i really believe in this coin's future !)

We faced with some withdrawal problems because of RPC slowdown. Withdrawals are disabled for 24h, it will be started again after new litecoind server setting up. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

My personal opinion is that marketplace is still better idea. It has some magic extra value. Personally, I would more appriciate posibility to buy/sell goods for DGC, then buy/watch advertisment (I would never do that, I hate ads 
). Also the Artist who wrote that post in that topic where you made that poll what community want next, made his point pretty well. I think, giving artists extra space for easy offering of their work, could be that extra value.

I have taken interest in reading through the threads popping up from people who have received at the ASIC 5 gig miner (the artist previously known as Jalapeno). In almost everyone of the threads the same small contingent of users have substantively hijacked the thread in what appears to be an attempt to proselytize others to their dislike (hate) of all things butterfly labs. If they are preorder customers why have they not gotten a refund and moved on with their life and if not customers what is the motivation behind the seemingly relentless posts regarding BFL? I find the time and energy spent fascinating and I am curious to the underlying motivations. Can any of the ministers of the Church of BFL haters shed any light on their compulsion? I do not intend to debate your position, it is well know and established. I am merely curious of its origins of the sentiment and the gusto to which you apply it.

It's obvious a few users have made it their goal to destroy this forum. I avoid reading anything from bitcointalk.org anymore. In fact when I find it necessary to read the forums I'm forced to skim through pages of absolute junk from the same hateful people. It used to be a great resource and had a good community. Now it's full of hate mongers.
