Thanks to those that have sent me a pm... Just to add more details and avoid unnecessary messages.

I was looking to do this via Paypal to make it quick as I need the 4btc to complete a purchase. I have a regular exchange that I deal with (cavirtex.com and I like them). However, I don't really have 3-5 days to wait for my funds to show up in my cavirtex account.

I completely understand how my request seems and if i can't buy 4btc before Friday then i'll pickup the 4 via the exchange on monday (ms my funds should be in there on Monday)

Again, thanks to those that already pm me with other options.

Hi Everyone, I want to buy 4 btc and I'm willing to send payment via PayPal. I understand that I'm a junior member but I can verify my paypay (verified account), point you to my ebay profile and I've purchased shares in a couple of groupbuys on this forum. I'm willing to comply with whatever is needed... just let me know what else you need from me to make this transaction easier and more trust worthy for you... appreciate it

Regards...

Sean... I'm curious... what was the outcome as I was thinking of using them. Did you receive the refund or you had to call cc for a chargeback?

I should have mentioned that I was asking because I was considering to buy from this seller... but have this overwhelming feeling that its a scam... they haven't responded to my emails.

Hi folks... I found it interesting seeing a post in a classified ad that they were selling their 50gh/s bfl asic unit that the received last week. However, I've only read that bloggers and tech like have received devices and I only the jalapeños were sent out.... can anyone out there confirm if any 50gh/s shipped out and received? If I'm as updated as I think I am then bfl is currently working out their power supply configuration for the 50gh/s due to an unexpected power consumption.

Appreciate you taking the time....

BkkCoins great effort and for whatever it's worth you have my attention and support. Kudos to you for taking on this endeavor...

What about making a setup like a Kegorator.

I actually was considering something very similar as a long time ago my cousin and I turned an old fridge into a Kegorator.... I figured I'd use the extra fridge in some way since it's already plugged in and just holding a few things.

you really gotta get space between your cards, pci-express extenders work great,

Totally agree and that's what I'm doing to assist in air flow... funny to see how many people spike up their prices on those extenders when you can order them from China at $3 a piece.

Any nifty ideas on cooling GPUs (not water cooled)

To be honest I'm just poking around to see what others are doing to cool down their GPU rigs... On my setup I have two boxes One of them is a full tower box and has 5 fans (2 side inwards, 1 on top inwards, 2 back outwards) which keep my 3 7970 cards around 75-80c at 650-680mhs (which I consider good). The other is just a mid atx tower and it get's way too hot for that little box with 1x7970 and 1x5970. I basically stripped the sides and have a table fan blowing directly at the cards (hover around 75c-80c).

Basically looking to see if some people came up with clever methods to keep their systems cool... people using open custom cases (milk crates)? Maybe attach a vent to draw out the hot air or bring in cold air?... any of you use those fish tank ideas full of mineral oil (a bit too risky for me).

Re: Ebay sucks. BitBay!!!

Oh I wish I knew a bit more about selling bitcoins before I sold some on ebay... They already suck for their service fees but aside from that I sold 10 listings before ebay shut my posts down and 3 of those sales were reversed from PayPal... ultimately I lost those btc forever. Oh well like everything else in my life I learn the hard way... one experience after another. I'm not promoting this site but I have used this site to purchase coins before in person... https://localbitcoins.com/   and for now I'm using a trading site www.cavirtex.com and away from person to person transactions.

Got a 7970, mining at 400mh/s, not really worth it.

khanage what mining application are you using where you are only getting 400mh/s on a 7970.... I can push a couple of mine to 680mh/s. I'll be glad to share my cgminer config settings.

To be honest... I'd like to get in on the group buys but I'm still stuck in the newbie level and can't post or contact those organizers. I built a GPU rig with 4 7970 but I would grab these USB sticks in a heart beat... then finally be able to remove the existing power-sucking-portable-heater-box out of my basement Smiley .... hopefully my jalapenos arrive sooner rather than later... and then I'll kick these USB sticks along to a friend.
