Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat

I agree with you that investing in BTC is a wise decision for the future. I think some people are too short-sighted and desperate to see the long-term benefits of holding their accounts and coins. I admire those who started from humble beginnings and worked hard to achieve success in this platform.

We should always diversify our portfolio and have a clear exit strategy, because we never know when the market will turn against us. The halving is not a guarantee of a bullrun, and we should be prepared for any scenario.

Re: Circulating supply matters to you?
by
terencio
on 13/07/2023, 16:20:09 UTC
A project that has a low circulating supply may not necessarily be a bad investment, but it may pose some risks, such as high volatility, low liquidity, and potential manipulation by whales or insiders. On the other hand, a project that has a high circulating supply may not necessarily be a good investment, but it may offer some benefits, such as stability, accessibility, and scalability.

Wow, that’s a very pessimistic outlook on the crypto market. I agree that there will be a lot of volatility and uncertainty in the next few months. There are still some innovative and promising projects that have strong fundamentals and loyal communities.

There are many ways to make money legally and ethically such as taking online surveys, participating in market research, selling your old jewelry, clothes, accessories, textbooks or unused gift cards online, teaching or tutoring English as a second language online, freelancing your skills or doing easy tasks online, babysitting, pet sitting or doing errands or chores for others, earning a bank bonus or cashback and rewards, recycling or scrapping items and borrowing money

Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets?
by
terencio
on 08/07/2023, 16:26:44 UTC
The return on investment for luxury watches tends to be quite satisfactory. However, the worth attributed to an item is typically influenced by its demand and supply. While owning one or two high-end watches, provided they are well-maintained, may outperform stocks, gold, and real estate, it’s worth noting that their appeal may diminish over time.

Staking and hodling are two different approaches to crypto investment. While hodling is a relatively simple strategy of holding a digital asset for a long period, rather than selling, staking offers rewards for participating in the creation of new tokens¹.

I also think that there are many challenges and uncertainties that could affect the crypto market, such as regulation, security, scalability, environmental impact, etc. I would not be too complacent or overconfident, but rather cautious and realistic. I’m curious to know what other people in this forum think about this topic.

It is possible, but very unlikely, to invest $100 in altcoin and turn it to $7,000. It would depend on the altcoin you choose, the timing of your entry and exit, and the market conditions.

I understand that money is important, but it’s not everything. You also need to take care of your health, your family, and your happiness. There is no easy or quick way to make a lot of money, and doing unlawful or unethical things will only bring you more trouble and misery.

Don't blindly trust anyone who promises you quick profits or easy money. Be smart and cautious with your crypto investments.

Re: Could this be a trap?

I think the market is still very volatile and unpredictable, so I wouldn’t rush to buy ETH right now. It could be a bear trap or a temporary rebound, but no one can say for sure. I would wait for more confirmation and stability before investing.
