Wow! Looks really impressive.

How are you going to monetize your project?

Valera, there are numerous methods, but we do not disclose them just yet as they are being formalised.
Thanks

This is certainly an interesting project. I definitely feel a bit skeptical that this will actually be able to provide accuracy and precision in the way that CMC and coingecko do, meaning will enough people be able to use this interface in order for it to be widely respected/trusted.

Dear Artlee87,
Terminal gets its pricing data directly from exchanges, so in this respect it is AS ACCURATE AS IT CAN GET.
For some stuff, we'll be using data from CMC (not pricing), and elsewhere. Accuracy is very important to us and we do understand that, rest assured. In terms of scaling, we provision a greater functionality for Terminal, to gather audience from different walks of life, so we hope enough people will use the system. We will be competing for traffic with the above mentioned sites, of course, it's only natural.
Did you have a look at the site? something you liked/disliked? any comments you can provide for us to improve upon?

thanks

Re: Arbitrage between trades?
by
terminal.global
on 13/04/2018, 23:57:11 UTC
Perhaps its obvious but I guess there are several bots doing arbitrage between mtgox and tradehill, if so shoudn't be tradehill leading the price fluctuations because of the smaller market? Meaning that buying 100 btc in TH rises the price higher that in Mtgox.

Ok i guess i'm wrong, please clarify. I'm asking this because I think that if someone would want to represent in a buying strategy an upward trend, he might try it on the smaller market right?

I've found that exact trading strategy discussed on http://cryptocurrencyarbitrage.net/day-trading-cryptocurrency/
Basically if you are a day trader it makes sense to find a way to already start you trade in a profit.
For example if Ethereum is trading at $500 on exchange #1 and trading at $550 on exchange #2 then you can just buy on exchange #1, transfer to exchange #2 and either take the profits immediately or use the 10% as a buffer for a winning trade.
That way you have the ability to set a stop loss at $525 and if you get hit you are still in profit.
If you don't get hit then you can watch you trade multiply without the stress of it dipping under your initial investment.
The strategy is discussed in more detail on the site above

Re: Bitcoin exchanges => Arbitrage opportunities

Hello,

sometimes it seems possible to buy BTC at one exchange and sell it immediatetely at another one, making some arbitrage profit.
Of course, we have to take differences in the currency exchange rates into consideration, too.
Therefore I have launched a site showing those arbitrage opportunities:

http://nyse-group.de/bitcoin-arbitrage

What do you think about it?
Comments/suggestions are appreciated!
Have fun,
Roman.

Terminal.global is an informational-analytical platform with trading functionality for cryptocurrencies. It is a web-based platform, allowing to trade on over 40 exchanges worldwide, thus providing access to 1000+ trading pairs, from a single, user-friendly and intuitive interface.
Terminal is built to do 3 things well: provide in-depth analysis of various blockchains, data from exchanges, and crypto-related internet traffic (in partnership with Similarweb).

Example use-case: August 2017, BTC fork into BTC and BCH. On the surface, during the 20 day period following the fork, btc price was relatively stable, yet the price of bch was rapidly rising. Under the bonnet, however, we know from publicly available data that the number of outstanding unconfirmed transactions in the btc chain was constantly on the rise, due to the fact that global mining power redistribution happening at that time geared miners towards mining bch as it was more profitable. At the same, you would see a spike of interest in bch through viewing aggregated trading volumes from over 40 exchanges in all bch pairs. Mentions of bch in social media and generally on the internet has been increasing during that same period too. Terminal wants to deliver this kind of analytics in real-time, so that traders can make informed and weighted decisions, using the charting suite developed in-house.

Terminal positions itself as content aggregator and information provider. Thus, it entails extra functionality, such as news, ICO ratings aggregation, mining sections, arbitrage matrices in real-time, market pulse snapshot screens, crypto indices tracking, universal blockchain explorer, calendars and much more, becoming the go-to place for crypto enthusiasts. As such, Terminal aspires to become for crypto-market what Bloomberg has become for traditional markets, with the only difference – it is free. We believe that in the world of crypto, unlike the traditional financial markets, information is essentially free and transparent, and with increasing volumes of this information on a daily basis, there needs to be a tool that makes sense of all this data – this is our mission for the Terminal.

Terminal is used to trade, research, analyze, track crypto-markets from top to bottom. We strongly believe the crypto markets will grow in size, and more people around the world will get involved, so we are building a multi-language all-in-one global tool to satisfy the needs of crypto-involved ever-growing audience.

A new asset class is emerging in front of our eyes, there are big opportunities ahead.

Founder,
Anthony Agoshkov

very interesting platform. Will access to it be restricted in any way? what do you think about data protection in connection with the recent hacking of Binance API ?

Hi, thanks. access will be free for all registered users. data protection is a critical issue, which is why we will be rolling out trading functionality step by step, without rushing, in a secure manner.

Are you guys the ones with the facebook ads recently. Maybe that's too generic a question haha, but I saw this concept being advertised on fb. Couple questions:
1) Can the platform support DEXs?
2) Are trades executed within the application itself?
3) As there a prototype yet?
4) How do exchanges partner with you?

hey. no, we have not advertised on FB. in fact, we have not advertised anywhere just yet.
answers to your Q:
1. currently NO, maybe in the future
2. YES
3. YES, launching on 17apr at dubai.keynote.ae
4. varies , individual arrangements
