Is anyone else having issues with trying to get LTC payouts from zpool and hashrefinery?

In AwesomeMiner I have done a bulk edit in Online Services for all of zpool and I added c=LTC to the password box.... but when I start mining, zpool is showing my LTC wallet as BTC. I have tried 5 LTC wallets from coinbase 1 LTC wallet from Jaxx, and 1 LTC wallet from Exodus.... They always show as BTC in AwesomeMiner and on the zpool site.

For hash refinery I have the same problem... In AwesomeMiner I have done a bulk edit in Online Services for all of hashrefinery and I added c=LTC to the password box.... but when I start mining, hashrefinery is showing my LTC wallet as XMY. Again, I tried 7 different LTC wallets, but there is no change.

When I view the miner process it does show the correct command line -p c=LTC -b 0.0.0.0:4028  ,but the payout currency is always wrong for zpool and hash refinery.

I have no problems with zergpool at all. My payout currency for zergpool works 100%. I use the same wallet for MiningPoolHub with no issues at all.

Visit the Discord for zpool and ask for your wallet address to be fixed in the support channel.

https://discord.gg/n45n6Jj

I tried 7 different LTC wallets... what is the "fix" that they provide?

Also, what about hash refinery? HashRefinery has my wallet showing as XMY.

It's just matching issue with pattern, they fix the ambiguous address that were incorrectly recognised to match the correct crypto in the Yiimp backend (database)

What about Hash Refinery? I don't think they have a discord. By the way, thank you to STSMiner for pointing out zpool has a discord and providing the link.

Just a pol how many of the profit switching pools do you use? We have 9 Pre-configured.

Does anyone use them all set and forget kinda?

Is there any statistical best practices?

If not using a particular one why?

Im not using Mining Dutch Ive had alot of issue like shares not found for extended periods and once i enabled "adjust reported revenue for actual payout performance".  All my rigs were showing less than $1 per card or about 6-8 per day  on 1070 1080 and 1070ti . Yet the profit profile still showed most profitable.  I guess Id like to just use as few as possible for simpler management and reporting but also dont want to leave money on the table.

I have had a lot of different issues, but the one issue that continues to cause problems is only with Mining Dutch. I have completely abandoned Mining Dutch for this reason. They have a decent site, but a lot of javascript on your site does not make up for poor mining and low profit.

I personally don't see the issue people have with hash refinery. I had an issue with them in the past, but it was easily solved with good advice from this forum. Hash Refinery is one of the easiest sites to reach a payout.

Currently my favorite pools offered by default from Awesome Miner are Blazepool, hash refinery, zpool, and mining pool hub.

Ahashpool and zergpool are both good sites and I have received payments from both, but I only use them with my more serious hardware because they seem to take much longer to reach payout even when Awesome Miner is reporting them to be the most profitable. At least zergpool offers Litecoin payments now...

I recommend that you do as much experimenting as you can.

i see there is 4.7.3 update and also want to know whats the best option to mine using online services static settings: Current, 24 hour avarage estimate or 24 hour avarage actual?
There are probably many opinions on this. In general, Current should be the best, but it can result in a little higher estimates than what you actually get paid for.
Is this really true? I ask because when I switch to current, Awesome Miner switches between algos/pools so often that the earnings (In the earnings column on pools.) that show in my pools are almost nothing.... (there are more earnings shown and they are more spread out across my pools) but the earnings are very low.

However, even when I use the default setting of 24 hour estimate, my earnings still seem not right.... For my test rig alone, Awesome Miner typically (with statistics set to 24 hour estimate and the "Adjust reported revenue for actual payout performance." box checked) will still show a per day profit between $5 to $6. And because there are so many variables, I have been using a separate payment address for just my test rig.... but when I look at my actual earnings in Awesome Miner (total unpaid coin, not USD, YES I AM ACCOUNTING FOR DIPS IN PRICE!), I am seeing something closer to $1.50 to $3 per day...

At this point, I am honestly starting to believe that it would be more profitable to just use Awesome Miner with Nicehash so I can use more up to date miners.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
It's also recommended to set a Threshold to reduce the too frequent changes. You can also test with not having too short profit switching intervals as well.

There is also a quite new feature to adjust the profitability for the Yiimp pools based on their actual performance over the last few days. When enabled, Awesome Miner will show lower profit estimations, but they might be a bit more realistic. Please see "Adjust reported revenue" at the bottom of this page:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/coinstats.aspx

Undecided  If you read my comment... I am using "Adjust reported revenue for actual payout performance.". I have been using it since you added that.

Also, my profit switching interval is set to 5 minutes with a threshold of 3%

I have updated my rigs to the latest but I am still having that silly issue with Mining Dutch.

If I have all of my pools enabled and the most profitable algo becomes skein on Mining Dutch, then for some reason Awesome Miner starts mining x11 on Mining Dutch, and only on Mining Dutch.

I had to disable skein and x11 on Mining Dutch to deal with the problem  Sad

Does anyone else have an issue with MiningDutch and the skein algorithm?

If I start Awesome Miner and I have all of my pools enabled in the profit switching menu, then Awesome Miner switches to Mining Dutch to mine the skein algo, it will instead start mining x11 (always the same, always x11).... and that is not profitable at all.... BUT, if I have only Mining Dutch selected in the profit switching menu, then start the miner, it mines skein normally with no problems.

The other problem that I have is that when I have all my pools enabled in the profit switching menu, AwesomeMiner will be mining the most profitable algo, and there will be no errors, no rejected shares, no hardware errors, but it will randomly just start mining the next most profitable algo in the list while the other algo is still the most profitable.

Also, when this happens, stopping the miner and restarting it will not make it start mining the top algo again... I have to completely close AwesomeMiner, and then it will start mining the most profitable algo again.

Does anyone else experience these issues, and what can I do to fix this?
1) Which of these pools are most profitable according to the View Details dialog (right click on the miner and select View Details)? The hashrates defined in the profit profile is what the profit switcher is looking at

2) I think you may not get any accepted shares for a period of time, and then Awesome Miner will mark the pool as "Failed" for this reason. You can disable this behavior in the Options dialog, Profit Switching section where you can uncheck "Ignore pools with no accepted shares".

Please keep an eye on this miner to make sure that it eventually starts to produce accepted shares.

1) I am using the nvidia profile (fully benchmarked and saved to profile) in my online services tab. When skein algo on Mining Dutch is most profitable.... It's because your software is telling me it is the most profitable. Clicking view details to see the most profitable gives me the same information as the online services tab.
The issue is that it's not actually mining skein like I said. (Unless I uncheck all pools in profit switching menu and only allow Mining Dutch)

At the very least, if there is no fix for me... Is there at least a way to disable just 1 specific algo for 1 specific pool??? If that is not possible, could you please add that in an update? I believe the ability to disable specific algos for specific pools would help a lot of people. I looked around but never found any option to do this.

2) Again, like I said.... AwesomeMiner will be mining the most profitable algo, and there will be no errors, no rejected shares, no hardware errors, but it will randomly just start mining the next most profitable algo in the list while the other algo is still the most profitable.

Could the shares just be taking too long? I have ignore pools with no accepted shares set to 5 minutes.

EDIT: Yes I believe I had the setting "Ignore pools with no accepted shares (in minutes)" set too low. Setting this number higher or disabling it appears to keep miners mining when they are working harder for shares in certain cases. But this still does not explain why AwesomeMiner starts mining x11 on Mining Dutch when it is supposed to be mining skein.... and it is only with skein, like right now I have some rigs mining Nist5 on Mining Dutch, and none of them are having any issues and they are all mining the correct algo.

1) I assume you are using built-in Online Services, in this case, yes you can disable algo per pool just by Online Services -> Select one(s) you want to edit (multi select with shift/ctrl possible) and press Edit/Buik Edit -> Uncheck the Include in Managed Profit Switcher box, this part was pretty straight forward hence not easy to search for posts with similar issue

2) If you are having the problem of pools deactivated due to no accepted shares, check the port you are using, and read the getting started page @ Mining-Dutch on which port to use for your hardware. In fact, the default Online Services currently in AM v4.7 is probably using the wrong port for most hobby miners (9998 is High Diff on Skein Multiport at MD) hence you are not getting accepted shares fast enough. Just change the port to Vardiff and try again. since I believe you have quite capable HW, you might not need to use the Low Diff port.

***
PS, if you have no ASICs or ASICs for certain ASIC algos, I suggest you disable most of the ASIC algos since no point mining them with GPUs/CPUs, disable via 1) ....above.

***
PPS.
While you might be experienced miner, I guess you are relatively new to AM or Profit Switching. My suggestion is to test various online services and find out which one suits you and filter out the ones that doesn't. If you don't do Auto Exchange at all, I suggest you look away from the Built-In Yiimp pools and manually add only the ones you like to use via Pool Groups.

I appreciate the /r/ELI5 explanation of things, and yes you are correct, I am new to AM.

I have a mix of GPU rigs and ASIC units.

And yes I completely overlooked the actual online services menu part because I mainly thought it was for altering ports and such, not disabling the algos entirely... In hindsight it does make sense that I should have looked there to see if disabling specific algos was possible. (I mainly spend a lot of time looking at the online services tab not the menu part) So thanks for that bit of knowledge.

So for right now I am much happier with AM and because of your posts I am starting to look at AM issues as they are probably my lack of understanding of the finer points of the software itself...

But, I still believe that there is some unseen issue here for Mining Dutch with the skein algo.... Like I said, it is only Mining Dutch and only skein and only if I enable all my pools. If I simply disable all other pools then mining skein on Mining Dutch works just fine, but with all pools enabled, for some reason if skein on Mining Dutch becomes the most profitable, when the miner starts... it starts mining x11. And it's always x11, nothing else.

Anyway, thank you.

Watch out for hash refinery again, Awesome Miner has it pushed at the top for profitability with big profit, but now it's not just not showing your earnings.... I actually saw an earning on my wallet page AND THEN IT WAS REMOVED!

zpool, zergpool, and ahashpool all show x17 earnings within minutes.... hash refinery is the only pool I use that is not showing earnings even after 2 hours of mining.

There are often not many miners on lyra2v2 so the time to find blocks can be higher than with other algos on the pool.

At the time of posting the TTF of Verge on lyra2v2 is 6 hours so it would make sense that you took part in just one block round if you were only mining for an hour.

As a reminder, the TTF is just an estimate - the actual time of block round times may vary considerably with luck (or lack of it).

Cheers!

You are telling me that while Awesome Miner is displaying Lyra2v2 on hash refinery as the most profitable, there can still be not many miners on that algo (currently over 1000).... And that it can take around 6 hours before I see my earnings displayed on your site?

The number of miners on an algo does not directly drive profitability, although it does have an effect on time to find blocks.

For example, having a 1% share in 10 blocks for a given coin will give you the same earnings as a 0.1% share in 100 blocks of that coin.

I am less concerned about profitability in this case and more concerned with how long it takes for what I mine to show up on your site.

For any other pool I use, it does not take hours for me to see 1 single earning when I mine lyra2v2.

...

Welcome to the life of miners, we are the lowlies that keeps the wheel turning, so no, we don't tend to make the most money unless you have some really big...engine....

You learn new things everyday you see. If you don't have to worry about outgoing electricity cost or any other major cost, skip this as it doesn't concern you. But if you are hobby mining and yet want the fastest turn around time, you gotta join the pools with most hamsters dumping hashes at the wheel of fortune (now...that is NOT good for decentralization I believe)....so you see, for hashrefinery withing the time scope of this discussion, it takes estimated 6 hours for all the hamsters who work at the pool to hit the jackpot and destroys the Death Star by hitting the jackpot and do that 1 in a million pot shot through the reactor....and that is only if you are lucky...sometimes it still takes way longer, but sometimes some nobody can hit the jackpot several times and killed multiple death stars with probability off the charts....when this happens, it's called luck....

and some Death Stars have smaller potholes, some have bigger potholes....obviously the smaller one means it's less probable to get lucky for the jackpot shot....it's more difficult...hence it's called difficulty...you'll need to sacrifice more X-Wings to achieve the jackpot hitting...which is called effort....

Of course, if you got the big guns (ASICs)...you can just pound it brutally...but not all Death Stars are vulnerable to the big guns...so you might still need to join a fleet of cruisers/carriers (pools), or like I said, if you are just a rogue pilot, definitely join a fleet cause you are likely never gonna solo the more established Death Stars.

I hope it makes sense...that's how I perceive the mining in a overly simplified manner...but it kind of works for many of my mates who aren't interested in technical babbles....

You are correct about learning something new every day, and I enjoyed your post...

I wanted to talk more about the hardware that I actually point at pools so you have an idea of my situation, but every time it just seemed like bragging to me so I didn't include that.

It's enough though, and waiting hours to see if you have earned anything at all, is just too long... Especially from a pool that just took down that very same coin for "suspicious activity"

Everyone be careful of mining blake2s and Lyra2REv2 on hash refinery right now, it looks like they are having the same issue they were having with Verge coin.

None of the shares are showing up on the site. But Awesome Miner is showing it as the most profitable.

We've been finding the expected number of blocks relative to hashrate on both algos.

What is your wallet address?

I mined for an hour with 2 rigs and there is only 1 entry in the last 50 earnings column. The entry says it was from 10 hours ago.

Definitely does not add up.

EDIT: I started mining on hash refinery again after your reply.... This is my result from my test rig.

Notice the part in the first screenshot where AwesomeMiner shows 0 rejected shares and 0 Hardware errors.... yet I have thousands of accepted shares, and no new earnings on the hash refinery site.

Also while my test rig was mining at over 117MH/s.... the hash refinery site shows not even 1MH/s

There seems to be a real problem with X16r.

Every morning I wake up and my most profitable rig is not mining anything at all, because it was mining X16r and then it just stopped overnight and did not start mining anything else.

I am losing a lot of profit because of this.

PLEASE FIX...
Has the mining software crashed multiple times? If crashed, it will be noted on the Notifications tab and you will see what mining software, algorithm and pool that was active then the crash happend. By default Awesome Miner will restart a crashed mining process, but if it fails too many times within a few minutes, Awesome Miner will give up. You can configure how many times Awesome Miner should try to restart a miner with frequent crashes in the Options dialog, Advanced section: "Restart attemps on process crash".

Yes I know and I love that part of Awesome Miner, but it doesn't appear to be working at all. It actually just happened to me while it was mining.

X16r seems to start and stop a lot, but there are no fails. If you mean the "Notes" tab it is completely empty.

It looks like it just stops and never restarts unless you manually start it. Honestly I would just disable X16r but it shows as the most profitable for this rig.

This is the only algo that causes this issue.  Huh

Which miner are you using with X16r? Has it successfully mined at all or it simply crashed on every startup of the X16r miner of your choice. What is the GPU you are using?

Awesome Miner is using raven miner and there are no problems with the actual mining. There are no rejected shares or anything like that. It is not crashing in any way..... It just starts mining, and after a little while, it stops mining and does not start again.

Raven miner while it is mining will stop mining at random and then start itself back up again, all the time..... BUT... after a while, it just stops mining and does not start again.

I am having this problem on 3 different rigs.

EDIT: Is there a way to make zergpool, ahashpool, hashrefinery, and zpool use C=LTC, without affecting mining pool hub and mining dutch?

Right now if I right click on the managed miner and I add -p C=LTC to the command line properties.... That will make zergpool, ahashpool, hashrefinery, and zpool use c=LTC, but it causes problems with mining dutch and I suspect it may cause issues with mining pool hub.

EDIT 2: For one of my rigs adding -p C=LTC the the managed profit miner command line properties does not even work, it shows as x in the extra column of any pool. THIS SOFTWARE IS SO INCONSISTENT! I am using windows 10 LTSB on a samsung EVO 840 SSD for all 3 rigs and it is a very basic rig.... how is there so much INCONSISTENCY?Huh?!!!!!

Huh

Anyone know what is going on with hashrefinery?

HashRefinery is showing as the most profitable since last night, and I am not getting rejected shares, but when I look at the hashrefinery website I see only 2 shares in the status column after mining all night with 3 rigs.

What is going on?

In the benchmarking screen it shows Claymore Dual miner.... but instead of opening Claymore it is opening Phoenix miner, why?Huh

I do not have anything changed with Claymore or Phoenix, the miner is doing this all on it's own.

It really is starting to feel like every time you update AwesomeMiner you add new features and break something else.

Edit: Even when I point Claymore to the actual EthDcrMiner64.exe AwesomeMiner STILL opens Phoenix miner!!!! How is that even possible? It's like AwesomeMiner is literally fighting me...
Let's focus on finding the scenario where this can happen. I wasn't able to reproduce it.

Which version of Awesome Miner are your running? Is the benchmark on a the local computer or a remote miner? Could you send me the log files?

I have tested this on 3 different rigs and they all have the same issue.

It appears to be only With claymore miner. I have had phoenix miner pop up when I was benchmarking claymore and I have had excavator pop up when benchmarking claymore.

I always update to the latest, so I am using  4.6.6

I believe this started happening with version 4.6.5

All mining rigs are local.

EDIT: I have now completely uninstalled AwesomeMiner and cleared the registry of any mention of it.... then reinstalled the software from scratch and I am still having this issue on 3 different rigs. The only changes I make are adding my payment addresses, adding excavator, and checking all nvidia miners to make sure I have as many usable miners as possible.... Then I start benchmarking and I immediately have this problem. Also, not all miners work on the algos that they are supposed to work for.... ccminer_alexis and ccminer_klaust work for about half of the algos they are supposed to work for.

EDIT 2: Ok this makes things even weirder... Benchmarking opens up Phoenix miner or Excavator for every algo that Claymore shows as a possible miner for.... EXCEPT Ethereum, only Ethereum actually opens Claymore.
