Great, thanks and I understand it must have been a lot of work to put all 3 of them in there and it works great, was just wondering about the other features.

Interesting app, what I am mostly looking for is a bot that can do the following:

Put in buy order for "altcoin A" at a price of 0.01 BTC
Put in sell order for "altcoin A" at a price of 0.011 BTC
Stop/Loss, i.e. safety sell market order when price for "altcoin A" falls below 0.009 BTC

This requires to NOT use the existing funds, as that doesn't work. Basically the exact same functionality as Cryptsy.com has with their "triggers" would be awesome.

Is that something you consider?

It is exactly what is going to be in the major update!  I dont throw all the goodies in at once.  Here;s the plan:
-minor update tonight for fixes of the little things and adds of some of the suggestions.
-MAJOR update and new look with many more auto features like you mention in 5 days.

Just downloaded the new trader, looks good thanks.

However I do have a question regarding the features we talked about, as I cannot seem to find them.

Do you still have plans to implement it and if so, do you have a timeline?

Thanks.

Re: IncognitoCoin - POS 200%, Should we change the POS %? If so, whats an optimal %?
by
tfbpa
on 04/08/2014, 07:47:39 UTC
Even though the advertised Pos of 200% is in reality only 15% per year as the staking in the wallet doesn't function correctly, as I have stated multiple times, I indeed agree that 200% advertised or real, is not the way to go and should be lower. If people see 200% they just don't do anything with it, which is not good for a coin I believe.

I would also make it <10%.

But please try to code the wallet and staking in such a way that in reality it will be <10%. At the moment whenever you get interest from staking those coins appear to not be stakeable for 24 hours, hence it is 15% now instead instead of the advertised 200%.

So if you can do the above, then in reality there will not be so much difference between 200% and 10%, except that people are more inclined to trade and/or use it.

I was very excited that you knew all the executive managers and board of directors at Paypal when I read that it will be integrated, as Paypal is extremely notorious for almost not allowing anything to be bough/sold and since you stated that it would be integrated I actually thought that perhaps you were one of the directors.

Only this seems not to be the case. From what I understand you did not even contact the legal department of Paypal yet, is that correct? The very first thing you need to do is get in touch with the board of directors of Paypal, explain your business plan and get a written approval that you are allowed to buy/sell cryptocurrency, otherwise your account will be blocked by Paypal within a very short time.

As long as you don't have specific, written confirmation of the board of directors of Paypal, I really wouldn't waste any time trying to implement it, as it will be blocked almost immediately.

See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_Bitcoins_(the_newbie_version)#PayPal for more information about Paypal and Bitcoin, which you really should have researched before telling everybody that you will integrate it.

That said, I do like your coin and wish you all the best, but again, don't waste any time with Paypal until you have a written confirmation from the Board of Directors.

Thanks for that link. PayPal is not widely used in my part of the world so never knew it had so many issues. Maybe those PayPal regulations were before eBay CEO said that he is interested in Bitcoin. But this has made me think of an even better solution. According to most of you, PayPal doesn't allow merchants doing business with Bitcoin. So let us give out Gift Cards. Certainly PayPal allows the buying of Gift Cards/Vouchers right?
Once our users make a purchase for the amount of SFR they wish to buy through PayPal, we will email them a SFR Gift-Card/Voucher containing a unique code. Entering that code into your wallet will have the amount of SFR you purchased transferred to you within some time. So here PayPal is only used by you to buy Gift-Cards/Vouchers which i feel they have no problems with. I don't think it matters to them that those Vouchers will be used to get digital currencies. They say not to use their service for buying/selling digital currencies, ok we are not. We are just issuing some Gift-Cards/e-Cards/Vouchers. Also we are doing this business under "digital goods and services" which does include virtual Gift-Cards.  Wink

In this way i guess everyone is happy and we meet the regulations.

What do u think?

That indeed sounds like a nice and creative solution that should be possible.

The only thing that I could find in short time is that according to Paypal's user agreement as per item 7.3 on https://www.paypal.com/hk/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full gift-cards are not eligible for Paypal buyer protection.

This of course beneficial to the seller and negative for the buyer, but at least there is no chargeback possibility for you the seller and therefore your account will not get locked and as long as you keep the agreement and send the gift-cards which work, then everybody should be happy.

I like it!

Do you already have working gift-cards and if not, any idea as to the timeline when you can have this available?

Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncognitoCoin ANON-tx using BitKey™ | HIGH POS | LOGO CONTEST
by
tfbpa
on 01/08/2014, 03:14:50 UTC
I have been staking 24 hours a day for 6 days and only received 0.25% in total for that staking.

That means that the promised PoS staking of 200% is by far not correct, it is in the vicinity of only 15% interest per year.

A while ago I also said this in twitter and the person then in charge of the twitter account stated something along the lines that it will be fixed.

My question to the current developer is: are you fixing this error at the moment and if so, can you give a timeline for when the promised 200% PoS staking will take effect?

Thanks.

You *#&#*#&#( BASTARDS!

Whatever you do, do not sign up on their website as they will steal your bitcoins on all exchanges by using the information you just entered on their website

Admins, get rid of these scammers immediately please as this is not going to end well.

They are the only ones who had all my information and miraculously a few hours after registering at their website they tried to login to all my accounts at the various exchanges and stole in total almost 2 BTC.

See https://blockchain.info/address/1GMYnJQrUae7QzTcSVSAiGEHob6ewfHLr2 for the address of the scammers

They were even so incredibly EVIL that even though they KNEW they couldn't withdraw my bitcoins at Mintpal, they simply traded them, bought shitcoin high and sold low only to piss me off and cause me to have a lower balance!

The &^&holes even made me need to get a smartphone...

For everybody else, please enable 2FA on ALL exchanges and do not use any exchange that hasn't got this feature.  If you don't have a smartphone, I learned last night you can use this https://winauth.com/

But admins, please delete this thread and try to find out the location and owner of this account.

Re: How are all of these accounts getting compromised?
by

on 09/06/2014, 17:31:16 UTC
OK, now I know what happened...

I also filled in my details at honorcoin website, never received an email, which I thought was strange and even asked about it in their thread.

What they did:

- Emptied out my Bittrex account
- Traded my valuable coins for shitcoin at Mintpal and bought high and sold low. These &#&&# bastards knew they couldn't withdraw any money due to email verification, so they simply decided to make sure my balance was as close to zero as possible by buying high and trading low.
- Tried to access my email account as I received a 2FA SMS from Google while I was sleeping, luckily they didn't get in.
- Cryptsy had email 2FA, so no problems there

I am mostly SHOCKED by the second item, that they knew very well it was impossible to withdraw money and therefore just kept on buying high and selling low so my balance would go as close to zero as possible.

Truly unbelievable BASTARDS!

I never understood how they could both have my email and username, as my email is not visible anywhere to anyone, but now I understand...

Since I absolutely hate smartphones and besides, I am behind my laptop for 16 hours a day anyway, I never bother to have true 2FA. This, together with indeed using the same password, was of course foolish of me and let me to have to buy a smartphone yesterday, or actually got one from my wife as I was understandably upset and complaining.

Hopefully this will not happen again and I do advice everybody to use 2FA. If you don't have a smartphone, you can also use https://winauth.com/
Whatever option you choose, remember to write down the very first code the exchanges give you as with this code you can always use another program or another computer or another phone when it gets lost and still login and trade at the exchanges.

HONORcoin, the irony and the #@&$#*&#&# bastards!

Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | - HARD FORK MANDATORY UPDATE - | POW in 5 days
by

on 07/06/2014, 14:00:36 UTC
I would like to point my miners at a dedicated pool for the next POW stage but I may be at work when we hit block 50,000.

I don't want to miss the start so is it OK to point my miners at a pool a few hours before the POW stage starts?

A much easier solution would be to have your favorite Silkcoin pool first in your config file and another scrypt coin pool second and use that configuration right now.

Mining software such as sgminer/cgminer will check the first pool and if it doesn't work, will automatically go to the second pool.

Meaning, that from now until Silkcoin pool will be up again, sgminer/cgminer will use the second pool and as it checks every 1 to 5 minutes if the first pool is alive or not, will automatically switch to the Silkcoin pool whenever it is up.

I did not receive any kind of email, which I did expect, but now I am expecting that a real email will be send once it goes live, is this a correct expectation or do I need to keep checking it myself?

For the love of everything important, DO NOT send these "people" any money/bitcoins.

They are nothing but a bunch of scammers with no plan, except of course take your bitcoins and try to multiply them for purely their own gain.

2 of the "people" who started this scam have already admitted that they do not see anything wrong with ripping off their twitter followers by completely unnecessary overcharging them 1000% on other altcoins.

Now how can you trust these "people" with your bitcoins/money if they ADMITTED that they don't see anything wrong with screwing their followers, who are by the way their primary target for this scam?!?

They are not a "wise team" nor "good people" nor "good investors" nor "good traders" nor have "good reputation", they are nothing of the sort, there is absolutely nothing positive about this bunch, nothing whatsoever.

Their only interest is in getting rich themselves and they will do it over the backs of everybody who is foolish enough to give them bitcoins/money.

Please, don't be foolish.

And conveniently leave out the fact that I do not own any Maidsafe of Mastercoins and have nothing to gain from advertising that website.

https://twitter.com/onemanatatime/status/461169919632359424

IF it is true that you had nothing to gain from that promotion whatsoever, a big IF, but lets say that is true, then it leaves 2 options open.

1) You did not know that that website was overcharging people 1000%. In this case you clearly don't know the market and this per definition makes you a bad trader and therefore cannot be trusted to trade with other peoples money. In this case your company would have bought a 1000% overpriced coin, which is of course very bad for investors.

2) You were aware of the 1000% overcharging, but for some reason decided to keep this information to yourself and let everybody else buy that 1000% overpriced coin. This scenario then proofs that you don't care about anybodies money and are knowingly trying to make people spend more than necessary. A very unlikely scenario, but again it proofs that you do not have the best interest of your investors in mind.

I am beginning to doubt if you understand anything about a running a company with an IPO, but it should mean that all your actions are benefiting the shareholders and so far every action and word has proofed that you don't care about anybody else besides yourself.

It does not matter which scenario is the correct one as all of them proof that you cannot be trusted to trade with somebody else's money. It really is as simple as that.

Trading is all about dumping most of the times (not taste good), and why the hell if i can sell you high and you are fool enough to buy!
so that makes me a scam  ? or it makes you a fool ??

And yet again you ADMIT that screwing people over is OK...

Truly unbelievable...

And indeed you are correct, if anybody is still "investing" in your IPO they are the biggest fools alive, but that doesn't take away the fact that you are a scam and that I am doing my best to protect people from the likes of you, as unlike you, I actually care more about my fellow people than making a few bucks.

Of course, you should know, as all you are doing is implanting false information into people's head and for that you need to know all the tricks, exactly the same as US government is doing and has been doing for a very long, which as everybody with a brain knows, is having disastrous consequences for the world, the same as your IPO will have disastrous consequences for anyone who is deceived by you.

Please, don't be foolish.

Isn't the biggest reason for most people to get into crypto because they don't want to be ripped off anymore by the current powers that be? Don't substitute those criminals with this bunch, as they are not one tiny bit better.

For proof read below one of the statements which one of the co-founder posted on twitter.

Quote
Alvin Lee ‏@onemanatatime
- If I say buy from Bitstamp when the price is $100 higher than BTC-e, am I trying to scam my followers? Lol.

See also https://twitter.com/onemanatatime/status/461160477083840512 and https://twitter.com/onemanatatime/status/461156677275115520

Here one of the founders of this scam is trying to explain that there is nothing wrong with telling his followers to buy something from a source with a higher price, while he is well aware that there is a cheaper options. Meaning he does NOT have the best interest of his followers in mind, far from it, he doesn't even understand that concept.

This all started with the fact that that same "person" tried to sell MaidSafeCoins for a price with 1000% markup! Yes, you read that correct, 1000% markup. No a few % for the "inconvenience" of having to spend 1 minute trading, no, a whopping 1000%. For no reason whatsoever.

Here is that quote:
Quote
Alvin Lee ‏@onemanatatime
Missed the #MaidSafe IPO? Get 500 for 0.2 BTC @ http://www.buysafecoin.info
See https://twitter.com/onemanatatime/status/461136953086599168

Here he is trying to mislead everybody to think that it is no longer possible to buy maidsafecoins and that his website still has some available. In reality it is still very much possible to buy maidsafecoins on the official exchange for a price of one-tenth of what this scammer is asking!

Again, "he" doesn't see anything wrong with, to him it is plain business as usual, try to profit as much as possible, doesn't matter if newbies getting ripped off as he doesn't have a conscious and doesn't even understand what it means.

Quote
Alvin Lee ‏@onemanatatime
- If you want to buy 1 Bitcoin at $400, but I only want to sell it $1000. Am I scamming you?

Another quote from the same "person", where again he doesn't see anything wrong with overcharging his followers. To "him" that doesn't matter, all that matters is that his profit will be bigger. That is it. Nothing else. No ethics, no interest in the well-being of his followers, just pure and simple greed.

One of the other founders of this scam, Ace ‏@AltcoinAce, also doesn't see anything wrong about doing business this way. See also https://twitter.com/AltcoinAce/status/461144516720726017

Now how on earth can anybody trust these "people" with their own bitcoins/money when these same "people" have ADMITTED they don't see any problem in ripping other people off purely for their own gain?

Again, please do not send them anything, please.

Can you please tell me the exact time when the wallet will be live?

Also, will you give the pool operators the code, with password for example, before the official time so they can prepare or at the same time so that there will be a delay for pool mining?
