use EWBF in the mean time. It is the only one I know it supports 144,5 and 192,7

I am waiting for DSTM to update too

I have tried EWBF but always received rejected shares.
Do you know the setup of it?

Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v7.0

one question.

i mining eth, then in a week ago i change to mine ZEC, just to try it for and hours, but then i swich back to ETH mining but i could not start miner (before i tried mining ZEC everthink went fine). so i reinstal GPU driver and then i try again ETH and it works and i leave it till today. Today i want to try ZEC, but could not start the miner.

What can be the problem?

That's too vague.
What miners where you using for eth?
Driver version?
Nvidia or AMD?
What GPU's?
What motherboard/cpu/ram?
What OS?

claymore dual mining for eth 7.4
claymore zec 7.0

driver latest crimson 16.11.4 (also tried on 16.9.2 and 16.11.3)5*rx 480 oc 8gb

bios v4

asrock btc pro/celeron/8gb ram

wiin 10.

seting on custom bios are 1150/2150.

thx

I have that problem too, anyone helps us plz  Huh
I've reinstalled windows, driver so many times. It could run fine just 1 time. Then if I reset or it's crash, I couldn't login back to windows.
I've unplugged all gpus, uninstalled and reinstalled driver, it could run fine 1 time (both zec and eth). Then it moved to next loop.
I've tried on windows 8.1 and 10.
Driver crimson 16.11.4 & 16.9
6 RX 470, modded bios
Ubuntu is fine, but zec tool is so slow

Re: SILENTARMY - v2 now supports GCN 1 GPUs (currently Linux only)

Hello,

I wrote SILENTARMY which is a Zcash Equihash solver. I initially posted a thread on the Zcash forums, but I figured I might as well start a thread here.

The latest news is that I just released v2 which now supports GCN 1 hardware. In fact all AMD GPUs should now be supported, but keep in mind very little to no testing has been done on TeraScale (pre-GCN) GPUs as well as Nvidia GPUs. But I need people with Nvidia to test if possible. Now that v2 is released, my roadmap is:

  • v2: support GCN 1 → done
  • v3: make a full miner supporting stratum
  • v4: Nvidia support
  • v5: Windows support

GitHub: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy
Zcash forum thread: https://forum.z.cash/t/silentarmy-gcn-1-now-supported-45-7-sol-s-with-one-r9-nano/3580

Does anyone compare cpu speed affect sols?

zcash wallet segfaults and damage blockchain and wallet, more than 10 min to recovery, very "stable", damn...
start mining to new wallet, try recorery previous.
so how about payout request? do you mean that we should wait more time before receive zec in our wallet  Huh

krile
I don't know how long time coins moves from one Z addr to another Z, but if we know txid (7ffb86e2a537e1494c9752d4df523f3e14318f9602d2ff59cbb099c407a43dce, bad9f1c5463e8dbc12bdab3b16744c146d050d158eb7367125905de57cc81f57), you must receive funds.

How much ZEC will I get with 100 Sols/s in a day ?
http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/ZCASH/wallet/t1h398W4VBLcuy61RDGzY8c2zNvXCLCkw3e
I run from the initial launch, till now, not enough 0.01 zec, lol.

Does the fanspeed setting work on Linux? Doesn't seem to do anything on my 470's, and the fan is too slow.
The new AMDGPU-PRO Driver for Linux doesn't seem to have any console app to adjust it.
same here. it's over 70oC. sometimes, one of my gpu (6xRX470) crash.

Same same,

Running silent army under linux with rx 480 because win10 crashes with silent army but gives double sols compared to non-silent army..

It would be really nice if we could, in Linux, control freq, mem, fan through the config.txt as there is no AMD tweak tool for Linux as there is Wattman for Windows.. But.. changing this config.txt makes no changes.. not even turns fans faster..?

GPU's getting quite hot and need to turn fans up.. but how?

I find an app here, but I can't install it. Maybe not work for ubuntu 16.04 Huh

hi eXtremal,
I see that gpu temp quite higher than normal, about 69-71oC.
How can I change fan speed, I edit in config.txt but it might not work properly
