My friend, this is the reason that I am with Ultracoin instead of any other cryptocurrency.  Almost all alts are focused on price alone.  They attempt to create hype and push the price up...but those pumps are obviously short lived because there is not a strong foundation to sustain volume at the increased values.  That is where we are different, and I take pride in our unique nature and commitment -regardless of price.  We are currently building a strong foundation.  As we all know, there are some loose ends being tied up.  Once our foundation is stable, the advertising push is going to be tremendous (in the very, very near future).  Strategically however, you have to realize that we all want UTC to be "neatly wrapped with a big bow on it" before we start using man hours and resources to pull traffic toward UTC.  The payment processor is part of that process. 

On that note, we are still looking for a Marketing & PR Director.

Currently, Ultracoin has an amazingly talented team - I mean it is absolutely impressive as most of us have discovered.  However, the team is small.  On top of that the "team" consists of real individuals who earn a living elsewhere and volunteer their time to Ultracoin.  I just want everyone to appreciate the big picture here and understand that good work takes time, and when you calculate the hours needed for projects versus the available man hours, you end up with a finite capacity. 

I say this everyone, not singling you out pieterjanvh:  Ultracoin thrives off of its community.  It is your crypto, it is our crypto.  The easiest thing for us to do is identify issues and shortcomings.  I mean let's be honest, it really takes minimal effort to address "problems".  The hardest, and far more effective option, is to answer problems with a solution.

So let's give this a shot.

Problem: UTC has a 5 BTC daily trade volume.

Solution:  Be sad.  Panic! Complain to dev team, perhaps they aren't aware of the obstacles at hand. Recommend that the dev team refocuses their efforts from developing a stellar crypto with all the right features, to something more imminent like price or volume.  Understand that no one is sitting on their hands, that all current efforts are logically prioritized, and that all team members are hard at work    The only solution would be to increase the capacity of the dev team to expand efforts into the Marketing and PR realm -which they have already identified (hence the TBD on the Marketing & PR Director).    The best solution would be to help recruit and/or identify potential candidates for the Marketing & PR spot.     Or since this is a community crypto, Ultracoin Community Members (UCMs) are afforded the opportunity, and even encouraged, to step up to the challenge and volunteer.
