And now getting a "server busy" error.

I guess NiceHash getting hacked has pushed *EVERYBODY* to winminer...

**EDIT** Was able to log in - they now have a "status" page available which shows the status of WWW, API, and Live Dashboard.

I really *really* want to stay with WinMiner - but not being able to mine and hold in BTC is really killing me right now.

Any update on when we'll be able to switch our base currency?

Are there any documentation for the extra command line options?

Thanks.

 1. temp control
 2. fan  control

Hi, have you tried MSI Afterburner for that?

You can only use it at startup - every time WinMiner changes miners or starts over it re-freshes the data and blanks out what MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision Tune do - You'd have to put in a hook to have WinMiner call out to nvidia-smi in order to make the settings re-stick every time (which as of right now isn't possible, AFAIK).

its been 12 days now since i started using winminer, despite the small issues that occur from time to time it mostly gets resolved fast
but right now i'm facing something have been mentioned here few times which is the update times , the older the account gets the more the updates is delayed on my balance, its been over 2 hours now and my balance is stuck on what it was, i was hoping if it could be more live and more frequent, it honestly freaks me out sometimes

I've been running it since the first post and I do not see this issue - wonder if this is something on their database side for you - have you emailed the support team yet?

Not trying to say it's not an issue, just giving a bit of confidence that I'm not seeing that.

hi guys.

Do you have any plans on adding integrated GPUs to your app's supported list.
I have a laptop with Intel HD Graphics 520 on idle most of the time and this isnt detected as a GPU. Although other miners do see it as one.
Winminer currently detects it as a MS Basic Render Driver.

Thanks

Just curious - with the other miners, is it actually profitable? I know it's low power, but....

Feature Request:
Allow for manual alternative power setting, as well as temperature threshold.
Minimum request - global value
Stretch goal - per card
I prefer to run my cards somewhat conservatively, and with my pending GTX 1070 x 6 build, I'd like to run them all at around 85% power - which keeps the temps low without taxing my fans, and only has a marginal cost to do it (at best).
When I manually put this into either MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision, the settings displayed are not over-written, however the graph indicating what's actually going on shows that they are being ignored. A quick re-apply corrects it, however I do not have a function to re-apply the settings after every miner/coin/etc swap. I've poked at some of the configuration files, but I'm not sure which ones to use in order to get that result.
I've sent this to the support@winminer email alias as I wasn't entirely sure if it was a bug, but it appears to be intentional based on the mining software used.
Thank you for your attention.

That is very cool, could you please describe, in detail, step by step, the way you currently work to accomplish the use of afterburner with the miners (without WinMiner) – it is important for us to get the full picture so we can try and accommodate your feature request in WinMiner.

You are welcome to respond here or to our support team  Smiley

Sure thing - Since I use EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner depending on which brand of card I'm running, I'll simply stick with MSI-A for this example (The process is identical for each utility).

1) Start MSI-A and set clock/core/power/fan settings. I use a saved profile for this.
2) When WinMiner starts actively mining, it wipes out my configuration
3) The configuration in MSI-A actually remains, but I cannot re-apply without a small change, so I make the small change and re-apply.
4) Winiminer changes miners/coins/etc - I make the small change and re-apply as in #3.

If there were a way to automate this process of setting the frequency/clock/etc from the command line I could have it change out every minute and simply alternate between 81-82% power and be happy about it (this wouldn't really give it enough time to get super hot or out of sync, but it does seem that some of the applications do support options for power settings (Specifically Claymore).

When running MSI-A/EVGA-P, the 'monitor' window and the temperature is what I'm using to indicate that my settings are simply not being held on to, despite the window of the system not being appropriately adjusted as well.

If you'd like for me to set up a screen sharing session to demonstrate this to your team, please ask them to respond to my support request and I'll happily do so. It only takes about 2 minutes to demonstrate this.

LOVE that you're working to allow us to adjust our base coin - that will allow me to not feel a need to 'cash-out' every time I hit the minimum.

One other request that I *think* should be relatively simple - Could you make a field that shows the total a machine *should* make in a day as it's currently configured? You already have the amounts listed next to each device, but simply putting a sum for the machine next to the 'system' line at the top would be nice. Yes, I can do the math myself, but I'm trying to set up multiple machines and having at-a-glance type information would be helpful.

I'll be doing my first dedicated build for this pool in the coming week.

Can I connect a non-windows worker to a specific pool? I've got something else in the works that won't run windows and was wondering if you had anything for some of the dedicated linux builds out there...

Any chance the website will be able to do a bit more advanced statistics in the future?

At a minimum, assign worker ID's and see how much/day each system is actually generating

Stretch goal, be able to input my power costs and determine which machines are/are not turning a profit

Right now, I have 4 boxes connected (possible 5th en route) and would like to know which are actually generating income so that I can upgrade/shut down as needed.
