I confirm the transaction with markyboy where he receives19.9% of all mining revenue (minus electricity and other costs directly related to this miner).

I will take payment at 16bH8VuvsXNoQcBsGXtCAo66wSk3ipQDmF. Please send 2023.034 USD (in BTCs) at bitpay rates to that address.

markyboy will receive payments at 19Qh3eogaYnc57DeMKD4EzFXQe7QXMKwBJ which will serve as proof that he is being paid. His payment will NOT be coming from that address but multiple addresses.

We are no longer accepting offers for the final share. There are three people in line for it. We will give the first person who requested the share a chance to sign on the forum and submit payment. If he fails to do so in a reasonable amount of time, he will forfeit the chance, and we'll move onto the next person. The second person will be given a similar chance, and so on. Right now, those three people are:
-The Gentleman who contacted me directly (he may want to remain anonymous)
-markyboy
-tal0n4

All shares come with 1/5 voting right.

TheGECK and I have decided to buy back 1 of the 3 shares.

If we do not have a buyer within 48 hours, we will be closing the sale.

Okay. So, I did the math:
We're selling up to 3 shares.
Each share is worth 19.9% of the mining profits (profits are the total mined BTC, minus the expenses listed in the first post).
Each share costs $2023.034 USD (payable in the equivalent amount of BTC as set by bitpay). (The total cost of the miner, with shipping and everything was $10,166.)

Well, the price of BTC went up to the point where we could afford to buy it on our own. The item has been ordered, and we're still interested in dividing the spoils, if anyone's interested.

Hey everybody,
I'm looking for 1-3 people to go in a KNCMiner Neptune with me and theGECK. The unit costs $9995. Here are the specs for the unit:
Neptune is our first 20nm product and will be shipping in Q1/Q2 of 2014.
The stats and performance that we can release today are Minimum 3000GH/s of hashing speed that 3TH Over 5 times the speed of our first Jupiter release (we reserve the right to increase this as we get closer to shipment)
A 30% reduction in watts per GH
Based on the existing Jupiter design (See photo, however this may change as development progresses)
Shipment begins in Q1/Q2 of 2014
Bitcoins first ever 20nm miner bought to you form the company who shipped the first 28nm bitcoin miner
Limited batch of 1200 units,
Existing customers only can buy at this price other batches will be released later to non-existing customers at a higher price.
These items will be on sale for two weeks at this price or until it has sold out whichever comes first
Payment for this product is bitcoins and bank transfer only.

Here's our terms:
We'd like to split it evenly with whomever would like to go in with us (limited to a maximum of 5 people including theGECK and myself), minus a .5% management fee. The hardware will be insured, run on a surge-protected battery-backup. I do IT support for a living (my company is Rommy IT www.rommyit.com), so I know my way around computer equipment. We will decide the pool to use after everybody has signed up. Cost for any extra needed equipment (power supply, APC surge protector / battery backup) will be deducted from the first payout. Cost for electricity will be deducted from all payouts. Payouts will be distributed once per month. Those who are interested can either post here or PM me.

Thanks!

I'm trying to compile cgminer on my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit desktop. I'm at the point where I need to start building cgminer, but I'm getting the following error:
Code:
The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~
$ cd cgminer-2.7.4

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ adl.sh
/mingw/bin/adl.sh: /mingw/bin/adl.sh: cannot execute binary file

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ file adl.sh
adl.sh: ERROR: cannot open `adl.sh' (No such file or directory)

I made the adl.sh file with the following contents:
Code:
cp -av ../ADL_SDK/*.h ADL_SDK
Then I saved it in \MinGW\msys\1.0\bin. I also made the ADL_SDK directory and placed it in \MinGW\msys\1.0\home\The Joey-O\ with adl_defines.h, adl_sdk.h & adl_structures.h inside.

Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?

Make sure you have the adl.sh file there. And the CGMiner source code in there somewhere. Not the CGminer already compiled, but you need the source.

Ok. I definitely have the adl.sh file where it's supposed to be according to the documentation. How do I know if what I downloaded is source or precompiled code?

Still not getting anywhere with the cgminer .sh issue. I tried using the "File" command to see what info I can get on the adl.sh file, and this is what I got:
Code:
The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~
$ cd cgminer-2.7.4

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ adl.sh
/mingw/bin/adl.sh: /mingw/bin/adl.sh: cannot execute binary file

The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ file adl.sh
adl.sh: ERROR: cannot open `adl.sh' (No such file or directory)

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

check out that page, it might help you out a bit.

Yeah. I read through the readme about Windows builds. I don't see anything about that .sh file.

download cgminer and install that program, see if cgminer see the gpu's
Um. Am I missing something? Or do I need to compile cgminer from source to install it?

I have been diligently RTFMing for compiling cgminer, but at the part where you first start to build the miner (after downloading and installing all the dependencies and source code and whatnot), I get the following error:
Code:
The Joey-O@Mr_Compy ~/cgminer-2.7.4
$ adl.sh
/bin/adl.sh: /bin/adl.sh: cannot execute binary file

Now, when I first typed that command, I got an error saying something along the lines of: no such file exists. So, I went down to the "Optional - See Below" section mentioned in the WindowsBuild.txt file. I then followed those directions. I closed out the command line interface and opened it again, just in case. Tried the command adl.sh again, and got the above mentioned error.

Suggestions?

need to check log of miners to see if one GPU locked up, because it will disable the GPU the next time you restart, and then check to see if the 2nd GPU locked up or hung up. That would explain how the cards are there but the miner doesn't see them. check in /BAMT/CONTROL/ACTIVE/ see what files are in there for the GPU that are missing.

I don't think I'm following. I don't have a directory or file called BAMT. I found guiminer's log file, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

Multicard Setup, only 1 card is showing up in mining software

Hi all,
I have 3 ATI 5770 Juniper GPUs in in a Win7 64-bit system. All 3 are detected and properly running in device manager, but when I try to use mining software, only 1 card is seen. This is a new phenomenon. There was a time when all 3 were detected. Then it went down to 2. Now just the 1. It doesn't appear that there are any driver updates that have come down (as the drivers are dated back to 2011). I've tried using guiminer & ufasoft.

Any suggestions?

I'm a bit of a n00b to the whole command line thing. I'm getting the following error when I try to execute "./poclbm.py":
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./poclbm.py", line 3, in
    from BitcoinMiner import *
  File "/home/joey/poclbm/BitcoinMiner.py", line 4, in
    from log import *

I tried a different way to get my machine mining bitcoin with the poclbm miner that did not work, and I'm wondering if the previous method is interfering with this attempt.

1) Is there a way to setup GUIMiner so that it starts mining right away when the program launches?
That option is already present. Click on the Summary tab (if you don't have a summary tab, click View, and click show summary), then check "Autostart" for the miner you use.

I did not have the summary page. Thanks!

I have 2 quick questions:

1) Is there a way to setup GUIMiner so that it starts mining right away when the program launches?

2) Is there a way to get an automated notification when a new version of GUIMiner rolls out?

Overheating could definitely cause it, if you aren't monitoring your temps you should start.  The GPU will automatically throttle to reduce temperature.

Burning anything smell is usually a bad indication Wink

Yeah. Thanks. It was overheating.
