ANN New BurstCoin Asset BMT Mining, issued
by
thecolony
on 06/03/2018, 04:36:40 UTC
The Asset ID is 8392778179366895397 and you can visit BurstNations Block Explorer or to see current share status by following this link http://x.burstnation.com/asset/8392778179366895397.
I have begun a website https://www.burstminingtown.com .

My goal is to make this asset the most transparent asset ever. I have provided links to the mining accounts. I have provided links to the spreadsheets. Any other information relevant to the asset will be provided upon request (dont ask me for children's names or anything).

There is no sharewall. The issuing burst account has put up all the shares. No one has gotten shares without purchasing them. Since the issuer has put up the shares, there is no way for the outstanding shares to get diluted by shares that only 1 person holds such as the asset creator. I wanted shares and I put everything I could into getting shares.

A real asset. No games. Everything out in the open.

I welcome any feedback.

Putting dates will be irrelevant as of now and at best it will be only guesses. The more important goal for Burst users for now would be to have 90% of all nodes to be running Burst software version 1.3.6cg.

Maybe by then a more clearer schedule for releases can be made.

I have created a Node from the instructions provided.  I get about 20 messages a day from AWS regarding the status of the node changing.  My internet is not sporadic at all.  Is this normal?
Can I create a second Node at my workplace as long as the company gives me permission?

Is minergate.com still liquid?

I purchased a mining contract with them and I do some cpu mining.  In the past the transactions were efficient.  However, the past week has shown there is no withdrawals completing.  when you look at your transaction history, your withdrawals just say Processing.  Is anyone else here mining with them and having the same issue or are your transactions still going through?  I have tried in vain to find any contact info for them like an email.  Anyone have anything that they might respond to?

Reserve some for me, at least make it 3.  Should there be more, I would take 4.  If the drop will be live, put me down for 5.  Don't play any tricks, just give me my 6........ etc etc etc  Grin

I am a little confused about stage 4.

exactly how do we provide proof to the "chancellor"?  Email, drop it off at his house, snail mail?

After planting a seed, can we accomplish additional tasks of the examples given to achieve greater enlightenment AND ohm?

Am I understanding correctly that the dev is the only person who is minting, there is no mining and there is only 1 more chance to earn coins and that will be very limited and other than that there will be no more coins?  If that is the case all of everyone else's coins combined would not ever stake against the dev's coins.

The DEV could solve this by simply not staking his coins.  I am seriously considering selling my coins and moving away from this coin unless the DEV is willing to address how anyone else will be deriving coins as long as he is staking.  Very simple solution or explain what the plan is from here.  He is not so busy that he cant stop to explain why he cant stop staking his coin.  this would take about 60 seconds and would keep more of us involved.

If I am missing something I would be happy to be educated.

But the dev generally ignoring everyone asking this question begins to look suspicious or incompetent.  I do not mean to flame you DEV.  Please provide a reasonable answer.

I am really glad I ran across this post.  I have 2 s5s.  the controller board went bad on one.  I simply turned them both on their side toward each other, then connected the data cables and the fan on the bad s5 to the controller board of the good controller board and walla!!!!  4 boards running at 59C and clocked at 400mhz.  Thanks a great deal guys.  Probably never would have tried that without seeing this post.

Is anyone else having trouble withdrawing Ohm from Coinsmarkets?  I can withdraw other coins and have, but the withdraw button for ohm does nothing for over 24hours.

Well since the Minimum stake time is 1 hour I would say just combine all your inputs into one to create a quicker building weight, once staked I would recombine the balance again into a single input and wait for the stake, rinse & repeat.

It has been 18 hours now and the stake info icon in the lower right of the wallet( that's what I am calling it) still says estimated time for reward 1 hour.

I have received no stake rewards at all and the stake value is still at 0.00

What am I doing wrong?

You are doing nothing wrong. Your 50 coins are competing against over 570,000 other coins. With 50 coins, you can expect to get a block once every 11,000 blocks, which takes about 4 days. Don't pay attention to that statistic you get when you hover over the up arrow. It is consistently overly optimistic in many of these POW/POS clones.
Oh, I forgot, you are still also competing against POW miners to get a block too, so it may take even longer.

Thank you Bones!  I am continuing to mine as well as stake and I am going to sell some computer items for stonka.  Gotta go find someplace to do that now.

It takes a while but it stakes, the higher the network weight the more time your coins weight needs to mature to compete, that is if the deposited input you have is big enough.

Thank you BF.  I will wait.  I have increased my qty of coins in my wallet to 270.x.  I have a total of two transactions.  first was 30.x and after that the little icon lower right said my weight was 15 and after second tx of 240.x the icon said my weight was 16.

Is the weight calculation a formula of the number of transactions, or qty, or both multiplied over time?  Or is there some other formula.  Is it a public formula or is withheld?

I have done some searching and sometimes it is beneficial to break up your staking into many transactions, but those articles seemed to indicate that was a better decision when dealing with a longer MinST(minimum stake time) or MaxST.  I am just wondering if I should buy coins in a more regular pattern or if its better to buy one big chunk.

I appreciate any answers you can provide.

What do I need to do to stake my coins?

Ive mined about 50 coins on supernova.cc  and withdrew them to my wallet.

Wallet is running and I created the .conf file in the roaming directory with the following contents:

rpcuser=SomeUserNameThatsSoCoolICantTellYou
rpcpassword=XYZ
rpcallowip=192.168.1.my4thoctetvalue
rpcport=72196
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
addnode=151.80.136.178
addnode=94.23.216.214
addnode=101.165.225.41
addnode=46.105.101.81
addnode=94.195.249.61

and created a .bat file with the following line:

stonkacoin-qt.exe stonkacoin.conf

I see the spot in the wallet that says stake but it is just sitting at 0 for past 2 hours

This sounds like a fun coin to try.  Best I have seen recently.  Dev is taking criticism maturely and responding.  Lets all try to think of a way to make this coin successful.  Best way to keep the dev in this is to make it worth his while IMO.

I have to S5's running on supernova for about 2 hours now and I already have 40 coins.  This is awesome, I wont have to put 0.x to the 7th 0's to spend 99 cents.

What can individual bag holders or miners do to make this coin successful?  I'm in.  Lead meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Just need help getting solo mining PPC to work
by
thecolony
on 05/03/2017, 19:50:08 UTC
Please save yourself some time in explaining to me all the reasons I shouldn't solo mine and provide me with your pool info which is way better than solo mining.

I WANT to solo mine.  If you can help me with that, awesome.  If you cant, please move to the next post.

That being said, I would like to solo mine on my computer using poolers cpu miner and the ppc qt.

I have downloaded the miner.  I can get the miner to work with any pool I try.
I have downloaded the ppcoin qt wallet and it has fully downloaded the blockchain.
I have created a ppcoin.conf file in the ppcoin directory

the contents of that .conf file are:

server=1
rpcuser=lee
rpcpassword=raster99
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9902
addnode=84.200.84.74

I have created a batch file in the ppcoin wallet executable folder and the contents of that file are:

ppcoin-qt.exe -server

I execute the miner with the following batch file contents:

minerd.exe -o 127.0.0.1:9902 -u lee -p raster99

when the miner runs, this is the error I get:

[2017-03-05 14:48:42] Binding thread 3 to cpu 3
[2017-03-05 14:48:42] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error
[2017-03-05 14:48:42] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

Please HELP me get the solo miner running.  I have a very good reason for wanting this to work.  I have 17 various ASIC's that I would eventually like to mine solo with.

thanks in advance.
