I donot see to be worried about bitcoins future.
This will go very good in future because.
1.The technology behind bitcoin is very constructive.
2.still bitcoin market is tiny in respect of other markets.
3.forks may come and go but bitcoin will stay.

Re: Bitcoin Scalability?
by

The one thing you know is that full blocks are bringing much profit for miners than not filled blocks. On the other hand, the Bitcoin developer team want to remain the block size and not bigger blocks while a part of bitcoin community wants bigger blocks. In the next fork, the altcoin B2X brings bigger blocks and the SegWit functionality remains.
Yes absolutely correct but why the dev team donot want to increase the block size to 2mb and why are they opposing.
i can understand that it may not be a permannet solution but it will solve the current situaltion.
And after some time we can move to 3mb size and so on.

This is only the beginning of the war of governments against bitcoin. I think that similar actions will occur on the part of all governments. I hope that in the world there are several countries which will create a bitcoin total freedom and they will become an offshore zone for bitcoin.
Absolutely correct.I think in long term as they ban bitcoin people will more and more excited about it.
And want to be curious to look and adopt this technology.
Where everything is decentralized and no government have control.

2020 millionaires all  over the world Grin Grin
be specific on MILLIONAIREs that your talking about,if ur an asian or other small countries it maybe possible.but if your in europe of america or other high value currencies its to hard to be a millionaire maybe some or fewer than what you expecting..and 2020?its to soon to tell.we dont know what would happen after the fork so better watch out
Why do you suspect that bitcoin will not servive the segwit2x hard fork.
I donot think bitmain supporting the fork.
So eventually it will make a new coin only and the old coin will stay.

The main question here is how much broken the computer is.
See if the hard disk already crashed i donot think there is any way you can recover the wallet at all.
Though there are some hardware engg that can even recover that broken sdd.It may cost you way more than a normal fix.
I am just assuming you are the once who sleeps through 2014-2017 era ,and now when you see bitcoin is booming you suddenly realize you have big amounts.Good luck to your recovery.

Your story appears to be fake!

There is currently 3.85 bitcoins being sent to that address right now. Why would you be sending to it if the private key has been compromised? Who else would send to it???
No i think you should check the link he provided.
its really that much amount and its now scaring the shit out of me.
Now a days bitcoin is not that safe.
Sorry for the loss.
But you should use more secure connection to access that amount of money.

Re: Bitcoin Fees - $59! Holy shit!
by
thecryptogiant
on 24/10/2017, 11:03:45 UTC
I have no idea, he didn't say it on his vid. Does the size of the transaction mean how much money he's sending? I thought the whole idea of Bitcoin is that it doesn't matter if you send 1 cent of 1 billion dollars, the fees should be the same.
This idea can still be correct. What increases the transaction size is the amount of inputs and outputs of the said transaction, and not how many Bitcoins have been sent. Usually, a transaction with 1 input and 1 output is equivalent to 250 bytes, independent if this input is worth 0.005BTC or 50BTC.

If you want to read more about the subject:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/1195/how-to-calculate-transaction-size-before-sending
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5eecuq/what_determines_the_transaction_size_or_number_of/
Think you for this information ,so if i sent like 100btc will it increase the transaction value?
you says 50 as max size of transaction.
actully i am quite new to this and want to do transactions with minimal cost.

Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?
by
thecryptogiant
on 23/10/2017, 13:39:12 UTC
Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.
No. I don’t think bitcoin will replace gold. Although prices of bitcoin have escalated over that of gold. But still it won’t be able to replace gold because firstly, gold is much more popular that bitcoin because of which it is being used much more than bitcoin. Gold is much more trusted by bitcoin because of which people invest in gold way more than that they do in bitcoin. Then gold has a physical entity and is a precious metal whereas bitcoin is just digital currency. Gold is a stable form of currency which means that its value does not fluctuate. Whereas bitcoin is not stable and it’s value fluctuate. Then gold is centralised which increases its stability and does not let it to collapse whereas bitcoin is decentralised and can collapse.
Yes you are correct and i agree with this that gold is much more popular than bitcoin but by the time the world become more and more technical i am sure bitcoins popularity will surely grow up more. Now as per price wise you cannot compair both as tow are completetly diffrent thing one can be use and physically exist and other one is paper money. So if internet fails and we become offline gold replaces bitcoin.on the other han internet fail is not possible before world war 3 so form my point of view bitcoin surely beats gold.

Re: So when do you "actually" plan to cash in your bitcoin? > or <$1,000,000
by
thecryptogiant
on 21/10/2017, 12:24:50 UTC
I only will cash out if i need to spend the money, the longer I hold it will be better, but bitcoin still so far away from 1million$, so I think a lot of people wont wait until 1.000.000$ to cash out, but when bitcoin reach that number, there will be a lot of new rich people
1000000 OMG i wonder the whole world have that much of money or not.
I mean every bit coin will be valued time the 1mil number.
Yes i hope that bitcoin will rise to that point i donot realy think it will happen ever.
cause it will make all of us millionaire and that is not possible my best bet is 10000 and i will sell then..Cheesy

Re: What are the top leading nations from which citizens invest the most in ICOs?
by
thecryptogiant
on 20/10/2017, 06:43:22 UTC
Many investors from Asia and most of them from China, also Russians and Persian Gulf countries. It depends from country of ICO origin, because hugr part of investors - offline investors and it is more simple way to find out this financing in the native country.
absolutely right russians  are the top in investing in ICOs as per my knowledge bitcoin is legal there.
A moths back there was chaina who was the top most nation for ICO investing i think after the ban they still in top 10.

Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned?
by
thecryptogiant
on 19/10/2017, 10:05:10 UTC
If Bitcoin will be banned by all government, then I think bitcoin will die and so the other altcoins. But I dont really see a reason why this would happen, if the government really wanted its people to improve financially, then why ban bitcoin when there is sure income for the people from it.
If there is a worldwide ban it would be possible to happen but I don't thin the government will do that when bitcoin now is beginning to answer the problems of the centralized system. Big companies are seeing bitcoin as an asset where it can help them with their operation and there is no reason for banning bitcoin just being of some irresponsible users who use bitcoin for illegal activities like money laundering.
Yes I agree with you the question is why would world banned bitcoin there must be a reason and I think there is no reason because bitcoin is playing a big role in economy and it make a people facilities and provide a lot of good services for earning so in short word bitcoin is going to help humanity and the people around the world hey love bitcoin.
Exactly,I mean 1st of all there are over 200 nations in the world and we are not united ,like china oppose USA similarly Russia Is a Anti to USA.
So the big powers are never united and will never be.So if like chaina ban bitcoin japan will adopt it as its the rival and its already happening ,There are so much politics around bitcoin within governments, yes some govt may ban it in future but its to be sure some will allow that and use that on a larger scale on the same time...Cheesy iam super positive on this

Re: Best investing with bitcoin
by
thecryptogiant

So if you look at it like trading stocks.. What's the best way to invest and trade bitcoin to make money?
I think if yo take USDT as your base currency.
And aim for growing USDT every day regardless of BTC's huge price change everyday you can make profit.
