What's the coin total supply? The award is too small considering the current price.

Many thanks for the tips OP Smiley Your points are very simple yet super powerful if one can will them properly, I'll try to sink them in.

This space is really not easy to navigate and profit off, one has to gather knowledge and of different kinds and know how to apply this knowledge effectively without letting greed or emotion to get in their way.

Re: Is it okay to trade without a source of income?
by
thefreethinker
on 21/02/2025, 23:21:20 UTC
Of course it is mate, as long as you know what you're doing and you're in profits. You could make trading your source of income if you want to, a lot of professional traders do it full time, thus making it their primary source of income, you could be the same if you know the art and what to practice it on a pro ground. But you cannot trade safely/low-risk and make profits without first of all saving a reasonable capital. I personally would never use borrowed funds for trading or investments because I think the risk is higher, I would rather use my savings with peace of mind.

Re: Argentina knows how to scam...

It's sad to talk about this, but this follows a similar trend/pattern from President Donald Trump when he launched his $TRUMP token on January 17, 2025 on Solana blockchain, shit attracted a lot of money but then, the developers dumped the shit heavily and diversify into ETH and a host of other alts, a great deal of persons is still trapped in $TRUMP. Perhaps American knows how to scam also.

OP you forgot to quote the statement from Mr. President, thus I do not get what to analyze and give feedback whether its right or wrong. However, I believe Ukraine suffered the most lost compared to Russia, personally I will totally disagree to Ukraine yielding their territory to Russia for that flimsy of a reason. Ukraine has suffered a lot, she must keep her territory and also be compensated.

Re: Are Blockchain Games Too Complicated for Mass Adoption?
by
thefreethinker
on 20/02/2025, 19:37:14 UTC
Blockchain games have their very own ups and downs, which outweighs which depends on individuals and their adoption depth. In my opinion, even though web2 games are super popular and easy to onboard, blockchain games have benefits that outweighs that of their web3/centralized counterpart, benefits such as decentralized game database, decentralized leaderboads for competitions and contests, decentralized game assets ownerships, and decentralized in-game marketplace etcetera. Blockchain games arent so complicated for mass adoption, Its only so because the niche is still young and fastly evolving compared to their web2 counterparts that have seen huge leap in advancement and popularity.

I understand you're not a trader but an investor, cool. Double on research and you can find a lot of gems to throw in some long term money. BTC and Ethereum are giants, to invest and profit from them, you must have a deep pocket. The market is full of volatility, as a trader, what you wish for is a volatile market in order to trade and profit from your trades.

Liquidity is the one major feature that attracts me personally to any exchange or derivative platform, then subsequently the quality of opportunities/projects that are listed on the platform. The market is indeed changing at a super fast rate, it would only make sense for one to swiftly learn to adapt and move with the constantly changing trends.

OP, I'll say to you, BTC all the way. I'm pretty much the same age with you in the space, there's the wise saying that 'don't put all your eggs in one basket', I personally play by that rule, if that's the rule you're trying to abide to also, that's cool 😎. How dare me question why you choose to distribute/diversify your eggs.

Re: Why invest in bitcoin??
by
thefreethinker
on 13/02/2025, 12:28:38 UTC
The 3rd option isn't entirely bad as it's encouraged to support government tax in order to help them manage governance. But the 1st and 2nd options are a total nightmare in the contemporary systems. BTC as a currency and as a store of value beats all of the points mentioned, IMHO BTC is indeed always the go for when it comes to say investment.

I'm not surprised of your analysis, I strongly agree with you and the points stated. It's evident that Asia is in the forefront of adopting this technology, I have seen this among Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis among others. But then again, China is always in the forefront in policy implementation that are perceived to be totally unfriendly to the space.

Sounds attractive and achievable but then again, have you built say a web3 solution to help you manage this idea or you plan to utilize other platforms directly as you have mentioned? I'm a fan of investment but I get discouraged whenever someone needs to be in control of my capital. Please shed some light and clarifications on this.

As it's commonly said among wise men, knowledge is indeed power. Knowledge acquisition has always been perceived as a good thing to do and it should not be any different in Bitcoin and cryptospace. I have learnt a few tips from this thread, I'll keep reading and learning from your experiences.

Re: A Smart Move or a Security Risk?
by

That's entirely a smart idea, the company will benefit hugely from this move since Bitcoin keeps penetrating deeper into mainstream by the day. My only worry about Bitcoin ATMs is their costs of utilisation, their fees is way higher than what an average enthusiasts will be willing to pay, thus making it attractive only to a selected group of deep pockets.
