Following is the first draft for rules regarding the Bounty program that I plan to start from Monday.
This is just a draft and I would love any kind of feedback coming from the community.
I will finalise the rules by tomorrow after I get some feedback from the community. We will start the campaign from Monday.
I have allocated 7K XEL from my holdings for this. We could have a better, more rewarding, and longer running Bounty program of someone else joins in and contributes some XEL. I will wait till tomorrow to see if someone wants to contribute some.

Twitter Campaign:
Max XEL Allocated: 3000
Duration of the campaign: 15 days
Each tweet gets 0.5 XEL.
If a tweet gets more than 50 Retweets / 100 Likes, gets another 0.5 XEL for it.
Account must have a min of 1000 followers.
Retweets dont count as a tweet.
A maximum of 300 tweets per day will be considered. Any submission done after that on the same day wont be considered.
A maximum of 2 tweet allowed per account per day.
Links to Blog posts related to XEL will be considered.
The tweet, along with some relevant text, must contain at least 2 hashtags from the following: #XEL, #Elastic, #TheOnlyDencentralizedSuperComputer, #FirstRealDecentralizedSuperComputer, #ElasticCommunity, #ElasticProject

Articles that seem very close to an already submitted article, will be discarded.
All Blog posts should be in English and should be easy to understand.

I am one of the donators and I have been following all the developments and all the discussions very closely.
First of all, a big thank you to all the devs, contributors and the whole amazing community for bringing this project to life.
I don't post much anywhere but I am writing this message with a motive. And the motive is to ensure the betterment of the project, create awareness, and get more people onboard.
When we started this thread, I saw a lot of people looking for Bounties and translations. I think this would be the perfect time for some marketing campaign to kick in. And so I have decided to put some Time, efforts, and a part of my XEL Holdings in a small marketing campaign.
I am going to use 5-10 % of my holdings (5K-10K XEL) for the following activities:
1. Twitter Campaign (with hashtags like #XEL , #Elastic, #TheOnlyDecentralizedSupercomputer, etc)
2. Bounties for creating Use Cases using ElasticPL. Use Cases that demonstrate how the network can be used to find solutions to seemingly difficult problems.
3. Bounties for creating Articles on Blogs, Forums, Sites about Elastic and its usage.
I might need help from 1 or 2 of the community members here to validate the submissions from the bounty hunters. I am sure someone from here will be happy to do it for the well-doing of this project.
I will be creating the rules and terms for all these bounties this week and share them here over the weekend.

The early investors are actually at a loss, isn't it ?
I mean, those who held their BTC / ETH / GAME during the crowdsale and put them in the ICO at the end actually will get more tokens than those who invested right at the start, right ?
Because, the prices were calculated on the day of the investment instead of calculating it at the end of the ICO.
Am I missing something here ?
I remember how ICONOMI made sure that all the investments will be calculated as per the price during the last 3 days of the ICO. It was the most transparent, and fair way to do it.
But then, it is how it is. And MobileGO team had already clarified this at the start.
Anyways, Congratulations to everyone and the team!

what is the purpose of the icn token if holders cant recv. dividends as promised?
The same as it was before. Dividends and buybacks/burn are just a different form of profit distribution. You can still sell the proportional share that was burned and buy eth while keeping the same percentage of total ICN supply as before
And if you don't sell anything, it is equivalent to compounding all your dividends back in ICN.
So, its a buy-and-hold-and-see-the-price-appreciate kind of token.

I think a few weeks back, "HunterMinerCrafter" was one of the users who extensively made good tests and found out bugs in the code.
How about we invite him again here to test the SuperNode architecture. This will greatly improve the quality/and quantity of tests being run. We, as a community (or Lannister, if he is around) could donate him some amount (in terms of BTC or XEL) for his help.

The potential for such a project is huge.
I have a doubt.
After we invest in the ICO, how are the going to decide the exchange prices for ETH and BTC ?
I mean, if ETH is 0.015BTC as of now when I am investing, and at the end of the crowdsale, it becomes 0.02 BTC then which price are they going to use to calculate the number of TRST tokens I'll receive ?

in that case, it'll be 0.015btc. so you will lose out a bit if eth price goes up to 0.02btc. of course, it could also go down to 0.01 ? that's always a risk.
@thegreatestpotato: We will pull price data from Cryptocompare, Coinmarketcap, and Poloniex at the time you contribute. Bookkeeping will be done on the spot in this fashion. Everything will be denominated in Bitcoin and Trustcoins will be allocated as such. (e.g. If you contribute 100 ETH, and it is worth say $1,500, we will convert to the equivalent number of Bitcoin and tally it up in this manner.)
We will denominate everything in BTC. We will be holding both ETH and BTC, but at the time of donation, the spot rate will be in terms of BTC.

HEAT client will be open source at launch. HEAT server is MIT licensed and will be open sourced soon after launch if not at launch. It's not decided at this point due to conflicts of interest involved. JV partners and potential investors prefer closed source for some time to get ahead of competitors cloning our proprietary source based on 3 years of work. What we didn't account for when planning the otherwise beneficial closed source period, is that some exchanges understandably request open source. We still have to make sure whether that's publicly, and strictly at launch or if it can be 1-3 months afterwards.
As stated previously, we had to put quite a bit of effort to roll back our FIMK-related processes to base HEAT on the older version of NXT before it was GNU licensed. This has an important reason - Heat Ledger Ltd builds corporate solutions based on the HEAT technology that's MIT licensed (can be closed source). It's natural for corporate customers to request the exact software they use is NOT open source. In fact it's very difficult to obtain customers if the software terms state that the whole piece you provide them has to be published open source.
Our escrow partner C-CEX is being pressured by some ICO participants to cancel the ICO and buy the HEAT tokens back. We've agreed to provide the wallet and HEAT tokens within 4 days from now or the ICO funds on C-CEX would be used to buy back the HEAT pre-sale tokens. They also requested we need to adjust the HEAT API to contain full NXT-compatible RPC for the part that exchangers use. That's no problem and is actually useful to readily offer NXT-compatible procedures for easier barrier of entry for 3rd party integration.

So now that the project seems to begin ( i HOPE you will deliver before the deadline ) can you make an updated roadmap ? You can understand that all this mess was created by your irresponsibility regarding informing about project status , so to avoid a new wave of dissatisfied investors you and DeKlerk should discuss like responsible adults and come up to a new roadmap with "strict" timeframes .
I can understand that this is not the best time to do it as you have to deliver mainnet , but it should be your first priority after that . And by the delay you had with wallet i believe that YOU MUST HIRE PEOPLE . The funds this project has raise are more than enough , don't try to be cheap .
XEL is almost 1 year project , it doesn't even have mainnet yet and no one is complaining because Evil-Knievel keeps the investors informed about the status of project with videos , commits etc . It is a groundbreaking project like HEAT , BUT the big difference is that ALL the XEL community supports EK because of his attitude .

Completely. Elastic would definitely be one of the best projects of 2017. We have an amazing community there! I hope things turn around for HEAT and we get to see an Awesome launch for HEAT too.

I think it is high time that we have a slick and responsive website to market the project.
It would really help to get the idea through to the crypto-audience which would benefit everyone - the traders, the devs, the miners, and the clients of the project.
What I see is that we have an excellent and novel idea but only the people in this thread are able to read about it. Nobody else.
Also, it will be easier to put the coin on exchanges if it is already a little popular in the crypto-vocabulary.
We need to market the idea, guys!
