What is true value?

He is basing it on being directly proportional to Feathercoin.

Honestly, it's value is what ever people value it at.

Like I predicted yesterday doge would go above 80, if you read some of my previous posts I told those that bought in at 80 to hold.

Unfortunately I can see a big drop coming again not because of fundamentals as I still believe the coin is worth 140.

I have sold out and buying in again at 55, I expect this to trigger over the weekend.

Based on what? i'm just curious, because the Chinese have just arrived!!!

It'll drop again because it's still really cheap to mine and it'll still flood the market.

We will still have to wait until halving before it really rises.

Exactly this, it's still the coin to dump for btc, remember the price rise yesterday was started by 1 person who is slowly selling to people who are buying at these "high" prices , it's a very smart move when this 1 individual decides to dump be ready. This of course will stop once block rewards are halved and people see the real value besides being the most profitable coin to mine.

ok, thank to both of you, should we now sell all and bye back for 55 Sas

No one is telling you to do anything, long term this coin is still a good one to hold.

I'm personally not going to sell and buy back because it's not really necessary and it opens you up to potential loses and problems along the way.

That being said, it's very good to get Doge in the hands of more people, so selling can be an important part of building the community.

The miners will probably do fine at that though.

Guys we are where we are on the power of our community alone.

Miners may push us down again, but use that last push to give you faith that the community is powerful.

Once block halving occurs it is time for our rocket launch.

Just remember to have faith until then, even if doge begins to fall.

in 40 second, from 71 satoshi to 59  Undecided

It's okay, we were just shown some of doge's willpower.

Use that to renew your faith in doge.

Doge won't really rise until block rewards halve.
Eheh but the difficult for mining is already high  Shocked

It is still one of the most profitable coins to mine.

Either they need half as many coins or much more difficulty.

Glad I decided to hold my doge.

I almost dumped them when people were getting all depressed.

Doge is nothing without it's hype.

Now that people are getting hype doge is worth keeping.

Doge to the moon!
I almost did the same thing when I bought 1mil at 75 satoshi and it dropped to 40+ satoshi lol

Lol, yesterday I was considering selling all my doges, now I'm holding.
Hope is back
Doge is rising!!!

So long as there is faith in doge, doge will succeed.

I feel like this random rise is just what the community needed to keep it's spirits up.

It will be a while still until miners have no effect on the value of doge.

But at least this shows us some signs of life from the community.

A DOGE lands on the moon in 2014. Believe.

Ok guys, I know it's not much, but I talked to my wife who is a pastry chef and has a cookie business, and she is willing to accept Dogecoin! http://sarahsbakeshop.com Just use the contact form to place an order and she will fill it! She can make custom Crypto shaped cookies and stuff. She's excited!

That is amazing :3

I would love to get some cookies with my doges.

Just give it time guys, in the meantime use social networks and friends to promote the acceptance of dogecoin at busineses. Remember Doge is still a baby in crypto the next step is universal adoption.

We need to build an infrastructure.

We need people taking DOGE as normal currency.

We need to find companies willing to take DOGE and make a campaign to spread that information everywhere.

Where is the dev? What are his plans? How does he intend for Doge to become a legitimate currency?

Want to know the problem with DOGE in my opinion? No one is willing to pay a good amount for it.

The value can't rise if people only want to buy low and sell high.

You're never going to see enough people come in buying up all the low sellers at this rate.

You need people willing to buy for more.

yesterday i mined dogecoin at multipool.us for about 4 hours at 400kh/s and i get only 250 coins!! Sad

why??

what i should do?? Sad HELP!!

That's a lot less than you should get at that hashrate in such a large pool. Maybe try a different pool over night. Give dogecoin.miners-pool.eu or pool.chunky.ms a shot, see how that works out.

Not necessarily. It's possible in that time they only got 1 or 2 blocks and remember block rewards are a random number between 0 - 100,000. There is no accurate way to judge how much you should get from mining over such a short period of time. 4 hours is not going to make for very accurate numbers.

I get the feeling people will stop mining soon.

Take a look at coinwarz, it is pretty far down the list now. It is definitely not the most profitable coin to mine. Plus as buyers begin to dwindle and they have trouble selling coins...I really don't think they will continue much longer.

With everyone saying the coin is dead and with it not being profitable...miners should move on sooner than later. We may not even have to wait until halved block rewards to see a spike.

Also, take a look at the sales. The sales coming out are at 20k or less in volume. Meaning I doubt any investor or Doge enthusiast is selling at the moment, it is ALL miners. So if someone tells you people are panic selling, they are dead wrong.

All that does is flood them with packets. You could use anything for that, even net tools.

Sure you could have a bunch of people do it at once, but I'm sure it'd need a lot of people.

Not only that but they would have to do it continuously.

You have to stop sometime.

There is no point.

You might as well allow things to run their course.

So are we all supposed to have botnets or something? How are we supposed to DDoS them? Hell, if I had a botnet I'd be using it to mine XD

I could flood them with packets, but the load from my laptop wouldn't do anything.
