I joined the ico, after payment it says; "you will receive an email after 6 hours with privkey+pubkey". This is 18 hours ago and no mail ?

I'm trying to wrap my non-techie head around this project. Seems like there is so much going on in it.
So if I issue a binary option, do I put up X amount of funds and the buyer puts up X amount of funds and the network delivers the funds to the winner based on the data from the feed?

Step 1 : you create a binary option and setup all details
Step 2 : The collateral is frozen by network. The funds are taken from your address.
Step 3 : Another user buys a percent / all your option. His funds are also frozen by network.
Right after you create the option, the network checks the associated data feed after each block.
Possible outcomes :
If the winning conditions are met the network will pay the buyers using a part / all your collateral. You will receive back the unused collateral.
If the option expire and the conditions are not met, you will receive the collateral + all investments.
Rewards
When a user buys your option he will automatically up vote both your option and associated data feed. Based on those votes you get rewarded every 24 hours. Popular option = big rewards even if you loose it. Sometimes, you could even make more money if you loose the option than if you win it, because of rewards.
Risks
Because the whole process is managed by network, the only risk is the data feed. This could be mitigated by using multiple data feeds for the same option, but data feeds are heavily rewarded to provide accurate data. In 5-6 months, well established data feeds providers will emerge.

The price of STEEM dropped because there is no max number of coins . STEEM white paper states that STEEM rate of inflation is 100% / year, every single year, which is huge !!! MaskCoin has a max supply of 21 mil and no more than 1 mil are distributed each year to miners / content creators. For example, in 2020, max 3.786.017 MSK will be available and 5 years later max 7.593.966
It's hard to predict the price for 1 MSK after it hits exchanges, because is 100% new software, but in case we reach a market cap of just $6 mil. one MSK will cost $10 because only 600k coins will be the available at launch date.
I recommend those who will be rewarded to keep their coins for at least 2-3 months until we hit Yobit, Bittrex and other exchanges and not sell under $5 because they will certainly loose on the long term.
Also MSK stakeholders are rewarded if they vote quality content, write articles, trade and so on....

- Poti lansa propriile optiuni binare sau poti participa in optiunile binare lansate de altii. Reteaua recompenseaza utilizatorii care lanseaza optiuni binare la fiecare 24 de ore.
Poti privii optiunile binare ca un fel de pariuri pe pretul viitor al unui asset extern (forex, cryptocoins, etc...). De exemplu, daca consideri ca Bitcoin NU va atinge $2000 in urmatoarele 10 zile, poti lansa o optiune de genul "Daca Bitcoin va atinge pragul de $2000 in urmatoarele 10 zile, cei care cumpara optiunea primesc dublul sumei investite".

O tranzactie in marja presupune faptul ca vei depune o suma mica pe post de garantie pentru a cumpara o cantitate mult mai mare dintr-un asset. De exemplu, cumperi 1 BTC care valoreaza $1700 cu o garantie de doar $17. Tot ce pierd traderii reprezinta castigurile celui care opereata piata si invers. La fel toate tranzactiile sunt gestionate de retea intr-un mod transparent.

Ca sa dau acelasi exemplu, daca ar exista un flux de date care sa prezinte pretul OMV Petrom Romania (http://www.bvb.ro/FinancialInstruments/Details/FinancialInstrumentsDetails.aspx?s=SNP), si cineva ar deschide o piata speculativa bazata pe acest flux, atunci orice utilizator ar putea tranzactiona in marja (x100, x200) Actiuni Petrom, ceea ce este absolut imposibil in viata reala.
Avantaje
- Poti castiga bani daca continutul pe care il creezi este votat (continut inseamna articole, optiuni binare, asset-uri, piete speculative etc...)
- Reteaua poate fi accesata fara sa downloadezi nimic.

Incurajam pe toata lumea sa ruleze nodul propriu sau sa incerce sa mineze MaskCoin chiar daca vorbim de monezi de test. Pentru cei care vor sa se implice financiar in proiect o pot face incepand cu 25 mai cand va fi lansat ICO-ul oficial. - Poti tranzactiona in marja orice asset pentru care exista un flux de date sau le poti oferi altora posibilitatea sa tranzactioneze in marja deschizand propria piata. Cei care lanseaza piete speculative sunt deasemenea recompensati de retea.
O tranzactie in marja presupune faptul ca vei depune o suma mica pe post de garantie pentru a cumpara o cantitate mult mai mare dintr-un asset. De exemplu, cumperi 1 BTC care valoreaza $1700 cu o garantie de doar $17. Tot ce pierd traderii reprezinta castigurile celui care opereata piata si invers. La fel toate tranzactiile sunt gestionate de retea intr-un mod transparent.

Ca sa dau acelasi exemplu, daca ar exista un flux de date care sa prezinte pretul OMV Petrom Romania (http://www.bvb.ro/FinancialInstruments/Details/FinancialInstrumentsDetails.aspx?s=SNP), si cineva ar deschide o piata speculativa bazata pe acest flux, atunci orice utilizator ar putea tranzactiona in marja (x100, x200) Actiuni Petrom, ceea ce este absolut imposibil in viata reala.
Avantaje
- Poti castiga bani daca continutul pe care il creezi este votat (continut inseamna articole, optiuni binare, asset-uri, piete speculative etc...)
- Reteaua poate fi accesata fara sa downloadezi nimic.
- Nu exista server central / autoritate centrala. Poti paria pe orice sau poti tranzactiona orice pentru care exista un flux de date. Nu exista nici o limita.
- Nu este nevoie sa-ti dai date personale catre un broker sau sa dai explicatii priviind sursa fondurilor.

Pentru cei care vor sa se implice financiar in proiect o pot face incepand cu 25 mai cand va fi lansat ICO-ul oficial. Doar 500.000 monezi vor fi distribuite iar preturile pornesc de la $0.1, pretul maxim fiin $5. Last week masknetwork blockchain become increasingly unstable (web nodes constantly crashed every 2-3 hours due to a memory leak in java node code). Also in the last 48 hours the network unexpectedly forked two times.
We reached the conclusion that masknetwork blockchain is not fully functional and it's not safe for regular users. Due to software instability, using masknetwork right now is a risk for exchanges, regular users and node operators. As a result we have switched the network to testnet (all node operators agreed).
The real net will be realaunched on January, 5, 2017 after we perform extensive stress tests. It's not "game over", it's just a delay. Those who invested back in 2015 know that we keep our promises.
All addresses balances, address names and other important data are well preserved and the real network will include them at launch. Nobody will loose anything.
In case you have pending maskexchange transactions please get in touch with customer support.
The only good news is that all web node operators reported a huge increase of signups / users retention since launch (3 weeks ago) and the feedback they have received from users was amazing. Unfortunately masknetwork is not stable enough and we need more tests.

The consequences of a bug like this are really serious, because the whole network can be shut down in a split second. The POW difficulty collapses and for a short time (20-30 minutes) an attacker could easily launch a 51% attack. Ethereum is a pure POW network.
This was a serious flaw...
It's strange that users / investors didn't react. It's like they don't care. Or maybe they don't understand the severity of this incident...

Web Devs: MaskNetwork is full of bugs and dead links (I am using MaskBuzz.com)
1. Lots of links go back to the login page.
2. The buttons are dead when trying to update profile info and photo
3. When trying to post, I cannot enter in my wallet address (dropdown is cutoff)
4. Lots of things that should be clickable are not such as usernames in posts. Should click to their profile.
Also, I cannot figure out the simplest of usability:
1. I cannot find any good way to navigate posts. all I see are three tabs: Top 24 Hours, Top 7 Days, Top 30 Days. Is that it? Does that show all the posts made?? I am confused. Is there a directory of post categories? Newest?
2. I am unsure how to access user profiles, or at least a database of users.
3. At this point I cannot even create a post as I cannot assign a wallet address (I think).
Also, there are different "nodes" that look exactly the same. This is really confusing to me. Why would there be identical websites?? Is there different blogs on these nodes? I tried another node and the dead links were even worse than maskbuzz!
To me, this website is unusable. But, maybe someone can answer at least a couple of these questions to explain how to use it. Maybe I am missing something??

I think you come from steemit and you are used with one big central website.
What you see are web wallets. Anybody can download the software and join the network. In the future, some users will customize the interface but right now, they prefer the default one. This is why you see the same splash page everywhere.
Masknetwork is an OPEN network. It's hard for users coming from fb, steem or any other social platform to understand why / how web nodes operate but web nodes are important because they make the network impossible to censor. If maskwallet.com owner don't like your posts, and censor them, you can switch to maskbuzz or hiddenwallet or even your own wallet.
Maskwallet.com was down yesterday due some tech issues but almost nobody was affected. Users imported their addresses to another web node and continued to blog. If twitter.com goes down, it's over. If steemit.com goes down it's over.
Many of the usability issues you have mentioned were reported and will be solved in the next releases.
PS : you can't post because you have no address. Create an address and send a message to your wallet operators for a small MSK "donation" to start experimenting with masknetwork or post your address here and i will send you some coins.

1. Is it true I first have to spent 0.01 BTC before I can do anything on the network? I have 0 MSK after signing up so I can't post a comment, new article or upvote. There is no sign-up bonus? I think most users want to try a network before they spend anything.

1. It looks like the faucet wallet did not send any coins to new signups yesterday. You should receive 0.1 on signup and have enough to post a comment or new article. .
2. You cannot update the profile from the blog section, you have to go the address and click the cog and then do it. I know . weird bug as the one page is not correct.

Yes it is similar. there are many node operators and these are two ones that run the exact same node code / design. you would think the node operator would design something better than just having them look stock standard. As far as I know only maskbuzz gives away the 0.1 msk on signup. (Though last night it seams this faucet mechanism was not working - neither was the exchange.
4. You need at least 1 msk to upvote so you either have to buy some or earn some through commenting and blogging (though the peeps with more than 1 coin are now only really voting for themselves to gain max rewards. You could get mega lucky and get a few smaller upvotes tho and earn a dollar or two per post .. again, only if you lucky.
* Save your private keys as I had 3000 MSK but my address just vanished one day from the account I was using on maskbuzz.
** Do not expect to much support or answers from the devs as they too busy to really help or care about those of us that lost coins from initial bugs.

I have mentioned before. We do not run web nodes !!! Web nodes are run by people that are not part of masknetwork dev team. We will upload a paper wallet on github this week for thos who want to store big amounts of coins in a secure way.
There was no initial bug. It was a wallet operator mistake. Next week 2-3 more web wallets will join the network. There is no way we can control what they do !!!
You don't blame and you don't contact Gavin Andresen when coinbase or blockchain.info are down or don't work. You try to get in touch with the local support teams.
