Re: When This Scam Will stop??
by

The purpose of the forum is for people to communicate with each other and evaluate projects. It is also in the hands of forum users to prevent dishonest or fraudulent projects. They will exist as long as we continue promoting them to make money. We will serve this purpose through trial and a little luck to make money. Everyone is here to earn money, you are included. Therefore, we can prevent these scams by only examining the projects and making choices.
For sure, demand comes first before supply so if we want to get rid of this sort of supply there should be almost no demand, which is not the case for now.
Scam projects will occur as long as there are people who are willing to fall for their tricks.

Re: XRP dumped and BTC goes up, coincidence ?
by
themohit
on 29/12/2020, 01:53:05 UTC
I have a theory, that some coins influence BTC price negatively,
In the past i felt that once XRP goes BULL, it stops BTC BULL
and now, i see once XRP was dumped after the airdrop, BTC went bull again
So, are we going to draw those conclusions with every event which happens at the same time?
No, thats not how correlation works. XRP and BTC markets are related and effect each other, but that effect is not as big as you've imagined.
Perhaps, both of them represent some sort of global economy turn and one single event effects them in two different directions.

i cant see this , we all knew that one day the music will stop !
we all knew that now it is we all knew that the economy crash was coming anyways with covid or without covid.
stop thinking like if you are normal hard working person your life is secure its not like this !!
best security is your own knowledge and information.
How can you ask someone to stop complaining about things one cares about it?
Thats mental. You will complain about any irrational thing as long as it pisses you off or makes you feel a lot.
Should they complain on economy dedicated forum? Probably not in main threads, but thats whole another story.

When they say that fiat debt based not good...
But I know and Everybody knows Bitcoin is not solution...
Defi could be the new solution for the New economic system.
Your money can do more for you and the defi are very well together with stable coins.
I dont think that DEFI is just quick scam... I think it has some bigger meaning.
We can't know is defi based economy will eventually work out until we try it.
But I just don't believe any country could decide to switch to defi like cold turkey.
It must be a gentle process with constant supervision

Re: Why BTC is digital gold?
by
themohit
on 04/12/2020, 15:24:13 UTC
How we can determine BTC is digital gold?BTC Thats can be determined by their attribute. Gold is valuable because it's rare and has a limited supply. This term is true for Bitcoin as well. Both can be exchangeable with essential goods and they are acceptable in our society. Gold and BTC both can be stored though they have different methods to do that. But if you compare these criteria then we can say Bitcoin is digital gold.
Bitcoin could be considered as digital gold somewhere in the future.
Its fluctuations are too dangerous for mid term investments.
You never know whether you're going to make decent profit over 3 months or will have to hold on to it for next 3 years.

As Facebook's currency Libra is planned to launch in January do you think there will be any impact on cryptocurrencies or it will be just one more stablecoin without significant adoption?
Source https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/85882/facebook-libra-first-stablecoin-january
Thats a bald move from facebook ,after all negative feedback from crypto community.
To be honest, that doesn't change my mind much - they still are trying to please their auddience rather than push crypto technology

Re: assistance finding a wallet

Hello folks.
I hold the following cryptos: bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, cardano, ripple, iota and stellar. I haven't bought or sold in almost 3 years; just holding on to what I have.
Anyway, I'm a linux user and have 7 different pieces of software for managing those 7 coins. I very much want to simplify things.
I don't mind having separate software for bitcoin, but is there a linux desktop wallet that supports most/all of the other coins?
Thanks.
Thats a big list of coins, so your choice isn't going to be wide if you're concerned about security.
I guess the easiest options are exodus, ledger and mycrypto

An absolutely shocking (in a good way) and welcome surprise!

~ $2000 was better than Trump's COVID relief cheque.
I've seen a guy who received literally UNI enough to convert in >$1mil.
Uniswap probably saved a lot of arses from being homeless during quarantine

2021 not Looking good!
I dont belive that money printing dream anymore
And I think the Central bankers are same realistic as I am.
In fact there is practically no one who knows whats going to happen next year.
It may sound obvious, but I include even analysts who have access to some govs statistics and etc.
There are so many variables in the equation that its almost impossible to be sure.

Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency?
by
themohit
on 30/11/2020, 17:16:42 UTC
No. A centralized company does not want to create a decentralized cryptocurrency (coin or token), never.

USDT is created by a centralized company and the company try to diversify the chains they use from Bitcoin (OMNI layer) to ERC20, TRC20, EOS chains the USDT has still been a centralized stable coin. Tether can not deny the fact.
They could do it, but I won't believe they ever will.
Why bother if everyone uses it already at this point?

Re: Bitcoin retirement account
by
themohit
on 30/11/2020, 17:11:31 UTC
I believe employees in all countries would have this type of investment plan in a way there would be companies rendering services in which the employee would be saving 10% or more of his/her salary into retirement account. This type of investment would be tax free and I believe this is how it supposed to work in all countries. Normally, people save fiats into retirement account, and as we know that fiats are fully vulnerable to governmental manipulations which can result to fiats value depreciation/devaluation.
Although, we should still remember that bitcoin is meant to be a privacy coin, not your private key not your bitcoin.
So, there is an upside to this plan - probably those savings could worth a lot more by the time a person will use it.
The downside, as you could guess, is related to the upside - saving could loss in value massively.
So I guess companies could add this as an option if a person believes in crypto.

Re: Altcoin pump and dump
by
themohit
on 29/11/2020, 13:46:31 UTC
Hey guys,
I've checked some intersting altcoins which are pretty cheap now, the projects look promising and legit but I'm still afraid that they could be another pump and dumps (there were so many of them already!). What are the signs or metrics that send alert signals about the projects and I should check deeper or not risk my money? Or is it just impossible to tell if it's another pump and dump scam project.
You can assume just by watching at white paper (if there is one at all), by watching social media - new project can't grab a lot of attention (otherwise they did buy comments), by watching at team (if its their 1st project or not).
Ultimately, you can't be 100% sure if one project is a scam. There were scam projects that looked real and a lot of people lost their money.
So if that will happen with you - don't be hard on yourself

Re: You can't always hit the right target
by

on 29/11/2020, 13:22:37 UTC
The word "bounty" means getting paid for capturing or retrieving something right? There is no much difference with bounty hunting on this forum too, the meaning of bounty shows that you can't always catch things right, there will be times when failure will occur but some people wants reward for every single projects they promote, even if you are a pro bounty hunter who's very smart at choosing projects you won't always make the right choice.
start acting like a real bounty hunter, if projects don't work out then move on because it's bounty hunting
Thanks for vital reminder.
We all want to avoid failure, no matter whether its about bounty, investment or whatever.
We all want to be successful 100% of the time, but to be successful in reality you just need to have >51% of success

Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance?
by
themohit
on 18/11/2020, 09:26:15 UTC
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
My bet on this one is - defi and cefi are going to be merged together.
Because one day we'll see most of biggest companies run their inner structures on blockchain.
Most of countries will have own cbdc.
Those are the "childs" of defi, but ultimately they're centralized.
This won't kill original "true" defi imo, but won't kill cefi either

If we base crypto on the performance of a country then what is the point of it being decentralized in the first place. I do not think that a government administration would have that much influence in cryptocurrency unless it is a CBDC, the nearest thing that we can call an influence between crypto and government is coincidence.
I think cryptocurrencies backed by countries (not cbdcs) are sort of dark horses, because we can't be completely sure whats going to happen if we'll see one.

Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency?
by
themohit
on 11/11/2020, 15:59:33 UTC
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.
The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.
people decide the value of crypto, because if most of holders refuse to sell their assets - price will go up, since demand is rising up and supply is falling down constantly.

Ethereum 2.0 is already launched with a smart contract https://etherscan.io/address/0x00000000219ab540356cbb839cbe05303d7705fa

Information the Ethereum 2.0 release https://launchpad.ethereum.org/
What do you think about Eth2?
We all should chill out a bit, because its more of a beta version to real eth 2.0.
Most of users won't even bother using smart contracts with eth2.0 and will wait for complete update.
So I can admit the update is damn great and we can clearly see how this news affected eth chart.

Re: Selling LTC for XRP?
by
themohit
on 09/11/2020, 05:39:54 UTC
Hi everybody,
XRP is currently very low (€ 0.20). I have some Litecoin coins. Bought at the beginning of January 2018, so considerably less. For the amount of those LTC coins you can now buy a lot of XRP. My question: do you expect XRP's rise to be higher than LTC's? I can easily see XRP for 0.20 go to € 1. So 5x. While this growth seems more difficult to me for LTC?
To be honest both of them are kind of dark horses.
But my bet would be on LTC because its team resumed work on the project not so long ago, so there is a chance for a bull run
